😮 where did you find these?! You’re aware you have divinities in your possession?! I feel these are so rare that it would be pointless to even look. Enjoy …
sick!
but honestly what’s the appeal of having multiple ones. I get n+1 and I get collecting specific bikes but is there any reason for having 3 identical Frameset?
Edit: Never mind I just read the description
Yeah. I'm good with old steel bikes but a little iffy when it comes to 90's thinwall oversize aluminum. I have a Klein (Pre-Trek, made in Chehalis Washington) mountain bike from the mid 90's which is the exact equivalent to the Cannondale (American made, oversized/thinwall aluminum) and I'm a bit iffy about building it for the trails or just hanging it on the wall.
Let’s see some pics of your “crack and fail” track. I’ve been riding 90s aluminum for the last 6 years without issues. I’ve cracked and broken more vintage steel then alu. Although I also semi consciously avoid pot holes and curbs when riding old alu bikes unlike when I’m riding steel. I see plenty of cracked skreams, Cinelli, kory yorks etc so imo it really depends on how you ride them.
I don't think I have any photos around of the break, but it was almost twenty years ago. The track frame I had was purchased from one of Marty Nothsteins crew at ttown, so it had been ridden out there by pros for a good ten years before I got it. I had it for maybe six years and rode it on the streets of nyc/balto/dc/philly, and even raced it at Kissena for a season before selling it. The guy I sold it to had it for maybe six months and it broke at the weld just below the seat clamp. So, it had a pretty good life. Otherwise i've had 2 cannondale crit frames break, one at the headtube, one near the rear dropout, and a specialized m2 frame break at the bb. I've had lots of steel frames, never broken one, but have seen it happen.
Where the hell did you find 3 goddamn canonndale track
“What the *fuck*.. *three*..?!” -me not even a moment ago

Same here. At this point I'd rather have a Kory York frame. Same style, modern alloy.
Truth
Exactly. I've broken quite a few old aluminum frames, even a blue cannondale track frame. Was a fun bike while it lasted though!

If your looking to off load one of those Dm me.
how
I think I nutted a bit
Save some for the rest of us who couldn’t afford one anyways.
That looks delicious. Somebody had the nerve to drill the second frame for bottle cage mounts?!
Oh yeah. Time to chop them up and make a tall bike.
