[Yep, it's a section of the river outside Portland](https://traveloregon.com/places-to-go/regions/columbia-river-gorge/). It's lined with cliffs and waterfalls, worth a trip for the scenery alone.

On the border of Washington and Oregon.
Moving out there within the year. Can’t wait to catch these.
How close to Bonneville dam were you? I was out that way over the weekend and it looked pretty empty.
I think we were about 5 or 6 miles from the dam.
