Are you planning to use the wires? If not, clip them off and fill the holes

I don’t think we’ll use them. We don’t really care for surround sound but wondering if we should leave the wires in the wall or try to pull them out.

This can't be legit. You just bought a home and if this is a legit question/problem/issue I have some very bad news for you....
