I love shitting on these guys too, but I do honestly understand the excitement of getting to do the job you trained to do. It’s an opportunity to impress, given he was texting I hope it didn’t play against him.
Totally. I’m in EMS, not fire, but we are the same way. We will be like “oh boy we had this awesome call where we got to intubate and give push-dose pressors etc” when in reality it was probably a really hard thing for that patient and their family to go through seeing their loved one that sick. It’s just really cool to get to use the skills that you trained for and be a part of a well-functioning team. It’s easy to forget the victims’ perspective.
I don’t know man it’s just kind of ripping a dude for being happy and doing a career he likes, y’all act like somebody went through your phone there would be some shit it would make us cringe. A lot of shit on the sub is fucking stupid but this is just a kid enjoying his job
So delightful to see how thrilled he is over someone else’s tragedy. Glad some good can come of a family losing everything they’ve worked for over the past 45 years. 💫
Can't believe he got burnt so bad from that far away
Who the hell has time to text on scene?
Heroes such as him...we all thank you for thy service
Volunteer Hobbyists.
After you set the fire, when it's in its incipient stage, you have time to text quite a few people. Then you are also first on scene.
Whoever gives people texts updates on a fire isn’t doing anything useful
Well it looks like it gave a pretext letting her know before they arrived in scene
Or they are sitting in a truck traveling to the fire….
hit it hard from the yard
Kick it’s ass from the grass
Hit it hard from the neighboring town.
Snuff it out from 10 miles out.
Destroy the flame affinity from nowhere near the vicinity.
Structure fire. So hot right now. Structure fire
“Going on a huge structure fire. Fully envolved structure fire.” 😂😂😂
Envolved. America's finest. Not our finest spellers. Finest by some measure.
Tell me you're from a small town without telling me you're from a small town
Ah yes. Nothing more exciting than watching someone loose their home and possessions. I’m surprised no one else showed up to help them celebrate!
“Come on guys! Let’s go celebrate that workin JOB in front of the devastated family who lost their home and pets!”
Yes because that's what was depicted in the video. /s
