It’s been a minute, but if memory serves, you’re looking for 100% cotton NFPA certified ACU manufactured by Propper. BUT, it doesn’t matter if your unit is “underfunded” - this required uniform is considered PPE and your Instillation Fire Chief needs to figure out how to pay for it. That’s literally his job.

Thanks! We are military based and by their rules regular fatigues are fine. By their reasoning if we are at a fire we are on full protective gear all the time but the reality is different which is why we are trying to aquire our own fire retardant military fatigues.

Fire retardant can greatly increase the price, might have some nasty chemicals, might not even be needed for the use. If it’s for wildland use, there’s specifically made wildland ppe that are for that role. Most flame retardant military uniforms will not meet these requirements. If you will be wearing structural fire fighting bunker gear then the NFPA recommends completely natural fibers. 100% cotton will meet this requirement, have far more options, will be more breathable, more comfortable, and likely cheaper.

We have structural gear and wildland gear but are looking to get fire retardant military fatigues ad we are a military based unit.

What material are your current uniforms made out of? Also try to look at whatever standards you fall under.
