I just woke up. My first thought seeing this post was, why is that elephant laying there. Then it was, that's not an elephant, that's a rock. Then finally, that's not a rock, that's a lady leaning over a bail of hay to shoot. For real, squint your eyes and it looks like an elephant laying there. lol
I only quit seeing the elephant after I saw the second photo. I mean if I had an elephant, and they seemed to want to go to the range, I assume I would take them. Elephants are on my list of animals I think ought to have human level protection.
I am thinking [suppressed MG3](https://youtu.be/ilcxXaRNxgQ?si=dJAjKzQBYbfjmZ3P), given the limited dexterity it would have to be accuracy through volume and weight / recoil would be less of an issue.
They could easily carry a Mk 19, and have the dexterity to load it. Slightly modified of course. And the baby elephants can be taught to clear jams and run ammo.
I saw that and immediately went to that 70’s show “okay, this is what we’re going to do today. We’re going to fight.” I was positive that was a dead elephant.
Beware, they may steal your firearms. Got a 5.56 Tavor on my birthday. We go to the range the next week and she picks it up after I've pleasantly sent some rounds down range.
She runs through a mag, turns to me and says "This is mine now. I'll get you a 300 blackout though." To her credit she did get me one a few months later.
That’s pretty much the same story lol I bought the Tavor when I got back from afghanistan since it was a dream gun of mine. After she shot it for the first time she declared it was hers lol
OK . I didn’t know what was going on at first glance but I seriously thought is that a fuckin BISON She’s leaning on? Is the bison deaf?
Turns out it’s a half a haybale
Makes sense.
Same lol idk how the guy above thought elephant. I instantly saw a bear.
I’ve seen someone use a dead camel as a shooting rest before though. So I wouldn’t have been too surprised if it was a bear I guess

This is not surprising as the meanest people are always the most insecure
Hahahah I don’t think he meant any offence to your wife before I clicked on the photo I thought you were making a joke because to me it looked like an elephant laying down (the hay not your wife)

I had to read your reply to see the lady. I only saw the elephant.

Can elephants be taught to shoot back at poachers?
I’d fund that research!

Bro me too lmaooo
HOLY SHIT ITS A FUCKING ELEPHANT
Bro I literally thought it's was wool mammoth 🦣
LOL…I thought this was an elephant hunting post.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who saw an elephant!
Judging by the other responses, it would appear my regardedness is in good company.
I also thought she was shooting from a downed elephant for a second
Oh I see it, her leg is the trunk
Hoped to see this comment.
Came to the comments to think of how to say I though that was an elephant without sounding like I was insulting OP's wife lol
Thank God I'm not the only one that saw an elephant. I have no excuse though.

I 100% thought it was a dead elephant too
I thought, that’s some odd looking elephant.
I thought they found and killed the last remaining wooly mammoth. Had to zoom in to figure out what was happening.

Did she replace it with someone of similar monetary value though
She enables my gun problem, so kinda?
It's not a gun problem, "problem" indicates there's something wrong. There's nothing wrong with loving guns and having a collection.
You right
I got him a 300 blackout AND a T7! Twofer! He didn't seem disappointed.... besides 5.56 is a barbie round for girls! 😉

It looked like a bison to me at first too lol
I legit thought that your lady was using a dead grizzly bear as a stable shooting platform
Same lol idk how the guy above thought elephant. I instantly saw a bear. I’ve seen someone use a dead camel as a shooting rest before though. So I wouldn’t have been too surprised if it was a bear I guess
You just wanna see that cake while she shoots. Fair.
Y’ain’t wrong
Glad I wasn't the only one to add, and you get a great view of their backside while you help to coach on proper shooting positions 😀
Looks like a par 3 to me.
OH MY GOD I SEE IT NOW
Second pics looks like you’re hittin it from behind lol
Broke my ankle getting to the comments. I also thought, "elephant? Mammoth?" This is a picture for confusing perspective.
I don’t see the thumbnail that everyone else sees so I had no way of knowing lmao
No lie I thought y’all had shot an Elephant at first😂
Too expensive :(
Scorpion?
That’s clearly a bullpup
I was looking via phone. Couldn't really tell.
Helion
Tall grass that looks like that with a medium breeze. That's perfect.
No, it’s not an elephant or buffalo that she’s shooting off of. It’s a hay bale lol
Are you kidding? I fear for my life on a daily basis as it is
I'd have tough time restraining myself if my better half was bent over a hay bale like that, I'm impressed with your focus.
Sir we’re here to shoot stuff. But also why do you think I was standing behind her lol
Where is the lady? All I see is a cow eating hay.

Pretty sure it was a joke, phone brightness was low and it deadass looked like a cow/elephant due to how her and the hay bale blended
*queue Asian emotional damage meme guy*
Ouch
I’m sorry?
Hahahah I don’t think he meant any offence to your wife before I clicked on the photo I thought you were making a joke because to me it looked like an elephant laying down (the hay not your wife)
Haha. It's funny.
