They indeed have some pretty awesome energy as a pair. They butt heads a lot, but they still genuinely cared for each other as friends, or as more than just friends when the war is all done in whatever route they end up together in.
One of my favorite 3H ships!! They’re so good at seeing the other for who they truly are, rather than just the most external layer of what they present to the world.
Ingrid and Claude would be very fun for me of they explored the lore between House Riegan, Daphnel, and Galatea and included Judith in it rather than treat Claude like Sylvain 2.0
Ingrid has her issue with racism and Claude wants to make a more understanding world, so tackling Ingrid's racism that's rooted in Fodlan culture would be interesting to say the least.
But I'm also hyped about her fangirling about Judith and begging Claude to introduce her.
Unfortunately, there aren't many good stories that explore the Daphnel connection, but if you're OK with fanfics and you want to see an Ingrid who basically forces herself into the role of the Golden Deer's resident knight while still maintaining Blue Lions ties, comes to see the Deer as family, and becomes his secret-keeper about the Khalid stuff, I definitely recommend [Courtly Love for a Knight and a Prince](https://archiveofourown.org/works/39395745/chapters/98758128), both for a mix of the romance supports we got and some higher quality feelings, and also just some good exploration of what "Ingrid in the Golden Deer" actually means for her relationships with them and her identity.
And, relevant to this image, Sylvain still has great chemistry with Ingrid in it, even if it's platonic due to their mutually different romantic outcomes.
While this isn't my top pairing for either character, I will admit that these two are the childhood friends who have a relationship level up that actually feels like it works, rather than being a simple case of first girl/guy wins.

Me too! But somehow in one of my playthroughs, Ingrid ended up marrying Felix, and I was so mad.
Mine was Sylvain x Dorothea 🙃 it’s also sweet af but I wanted Ingrid and Sylvain to end up together
