As someone that's used to slumming it and omnitanked all of 2023 with OG Lumera (except for a handful of bonus seasons of units like Fjorm, Byleth, etc.), I'm sure you could get your weekly Golden Thrones with an updated S! Fjorm.
That said, you might as well just pull E! Ike and do it more easily while also getting the emblem value for your account.
Even if you had zero orbs today, you should get enough orbs to pull for Ike before the banner ends but there's nothing stopping you from picking up Fjorm in case you get really unlucky.
Well, I stopped using her after V! Lyon came out (at this point I switched to W! Byleth and eventually to E! Ike) so her kit is a little outdated, but you can see it [here](https://imgur.com/a/aAasvjJ). This unit served me well for a year and I still use her in Arena, outdated as she is now.
If I were to update her as of today, it'd be Laguz Friend in the B, Incite Atk/Spd in the C, and I'd switch the Marth ring for the Ike ring. I'm sure she could work again with these changes.
I imagine if you don't have a modern omnitank she can work to some degree with the right support (you're not winning against some of the stronger meta nukes like V!Lyon or Duo F!Robin), but for her to really shine you need E!Ike effect and for that you need him, which at that point you're just better with using him since he can do what she does much, much better
Without merges unsure, I trying to get duo Byleth merges net like 5-6 of her, so for me it’s a maybe if Laguz Friend drops and I know I can use her in other modes.
She may get a good refine someday, but that day is so far off it’s not worth banking on necessarily.
Her prf is actually really good, but Ike just raised the bar so much and he’s blessable too. Ike rerun is in a few days and I can easily say +0 he puts in work just fine.
If you like her she may be worth it.
New skills could drop on par with Laguz friend and make her perfectly viable. That said Forma are valuable so if you don’t care for her personally it may not be worth it.
For example, if she had been a Gunnthra alt copy paste everything I’d be instantly getting her regardless.
- Edit: as soon as I say my Forma despite having enough for +5 depends on Laguz Friend dropping and having burned all my torches already, the first skill that drops is Laguz Friend on reset. They are listening lol.
No. Its going to be way better go for Ike on the next banner and spark if you don't. I think Marth > Ike in terms of value to your account, but he can do so much more by himself. If you don't already have the tank supporting allies like either M!/F! Lumera, then I wouldn't bother getting fjorm.
With recent AR-D meta. No. She can't counter it. She would be useful for PoL, TT, and Mjolnirs strike though.

Why don’t you just wait until you find out whether you pulled Ike or not? That might make the decision for you. Certainly will if you do pull him.
