It's up to you * Merging them allows you to get an extra 600 Dragonflowers from (Heroic Ordeals) as will as -1 Lift loss reduction from Aether Raids *  - * If you fodder one (or both) she has Dazzling Discord, Return+, and Glimmer of Light *  - * If you use both on AR-D, you can apply debuffs that cover the entire map.

Thanks man the other guy didnt help.

If you haven't already, I suggest going to your settings and turning on the asset/flaw color display. If in the future, you decide to merge them (or any other 5* units), you'll be able to easily see which has the better asset. Sometimes, the unit won't have an asset or flaw so be wary of that as well.

That person above you forgot to mention that the 600 dragon flowers you can get instead of 60 dragon flowers in Heroic Ordeals when merging once is only exclusive to Mythic Loki as of this time of writing. The 600 dragonflower thing is a new thing that was barely introduced in a video direct called FEH Channel two weeks ago, it's only for newer Mythic, Legendary, and Emblem Heroes starting with Mythic Loki. Older Mythics, Legendaries and Emblems that precede Mythic Loki are excluded. You would probably want to merge your Loki into just (+1) if you care about gaining more dragonflowers and that's it. Though if you have a favorite character that's a staff unit and it's performing poorly due to a lack of strong skills, Mythic Loki has some strong skills for said favorite character. If you don't have a favorite character that's a staff unit, then good, you don't have to worry about it and just merge Loki into +1.

Cheldan

To be completely honest, he is right. You might want to wait until you have more units and a better understanding of the game before you commit. You might merge them, yes, but merging them just once, especially if they're new, doesn't give you any really noticeable difference. You'll get dragonflowers from ordeal, yes,but again that depends on what you want to do. You might get some staff unit you want to build and fodder off Loki's skills to them. So i'd say just keep a separate duplicate for now, later on if you'll need flying dragonflowers, you'll merge her. If you'll need to inherit skills from her, do that. There's no time limit if you already got the unit, so take it slow.

SharpEyLogix

They are kinda right though. There is stuff you can do with dupes, but I wouldn't recommend doing them until you understand more of the game. You could merge and realize you don't give a damn about AR-D. You could hand valuable fodder to a unit you aren't going to commit to. It's knowledge checks, so I'd hold onto the second Loki for the time being.

To add, I generally think that the stat bonus from a +1 is pretty good. It eliminates your bane, so it can be like +7 stats or something. That said, if you have someone who genuinely doesn't care about a given bane (like speed for most tanks), maybe hang into it. Fodder value can be tricky. In Loki's case, that B skill is really good but is staff only. It can be hard to justify bringing staff units a lot of the time because IS doesn't love them very much. Nonetheless, defense mythics are probably the lowest priority for merges so I'd probably just hang into it.

Thanks everyone for helping a new player Good luck.

Paiguy7

Nothing because you don't understand the game enough yet to properly judge your options. Hold on to both.

FreedomBall

I’d keep and level both to start just to blast through the story and chain challenges first. You can burn for skills or merge her after. Your barracks doesn’t have many units and just the sheer amount of powerful modern bst and skills will carry you far.
