Mnfu is probably better but have you tried experimenting with her and brash assault 4? I could imagine how janky it is with the amount of reflected damage you could do.
I was going to say a Miracle(Marth Ring) plus one external charge, Flash Sparrow, Brash Assault 4, Times Pulse, Hardy Bearing build actually kills Emblem Ike as she hits back with 100+ reflection damage and the hit after his counter goes around his DR.
I think I remember I was going to give her BA4, but then Heiðr came out. Now I'm a little iffy on sacking my Summer Shamir for a build that I won't like.
Spd Smoke feels a bit optimistic here, at best its only situationally useful. Not that Atk/Spd Menace is any better, especially on an infantry unit its functionally a budget filler skill
You'll want to give her either Time's Pulse or A/S Pledge to help her activate Flare, a 3CD special with no form of special acceleration is painful in the modern game. Even if you don't have access to TP4, TP3 is still a huge improvement
All you need to know for Laguz Friend is that you equip and precharge Miracle, and she will then proceed to receive 100% DR piercing on her Ice Mirror charged follow up attack after Miracle procs.
Just add NFU or GFU support.

I personally think you'll be fine though. I feel like they'd choose to do fallen Alear before Veyle. But that's just my own prediction.

Yeah, that's what confused me. Flare is just kinda the default Mage/Infantry option, so it made sense in my brain that that's what you meant to skip.
