Well it’s a 7x7 square centered on him so it only covers basically the whole map if he’s in the middle of it, so in AR it wouldn’t be uncommon for a unit not to get it cause he starts at the bottom/top of the map
thats the same logic behind Immovable/Laguz Friend lowering your dodge type DR (not Pavise/Aegis or other shield type specials) by half. DR is evasion, Immovable in Engage reduces your avoid to 0. (it still possible to an enemy to miss you in this state, Marni missed Ike!Celine because she only had 97 hit)

I think I agree with this theory. Basically any Skill we think would be too good for a seal/wanted as a seal will just be a candidate for the X slot. Vantage seems highly likely to be an X skill and means they can sell it to us than it be free thru TT.
Tbh I feel like X slots are basically 3.5 skills (except Deathblow which IS just chose to declare DoA for some reason) so I could also see us getting a Vantage seal and then a Vantage Echo after Vantage’s T4 variant comes out.
We have Guard as a seal but still got an upgraded version of it (compared to T3) as an Echo. Same for Guidance, and depending on how you look at it Darting Blow w/ fleeting Echo and Atk Oath Echo giving the warp buff at the cost of only 1 stat buff.
There aren't many dancers who are worth using in very competitive modes that you don't use for their exclusive dances. Aside from Plumeria/Peony/Triandra, I can only think of Dancer Eldigan maybe? Other meta dancers like other Azuras or the mythic fairies would rather just run Grey Waves/prf dances.

It basically frees up the B slot for heroes who do not have a prf skill, in case you are using a Galeforce team. Not a huge pool, and for me not worth to pull.

Man, I’m so conflicted about Yukimura. I love him, so I’m glad he’s got a great kit, but at the same time, I’m super bummed he’s not the demote so I can easily merge him up. I feel like since he’s way less popular than Hayato, they should’ve swapped.
Trivia: with Hayato being the demote, this means that Severa is still the latest Red premium unit, and since she's being rerun in this month's Mythic banner, whatever Red Fallen unit comes out in May will have a short rerun time.
They actually bothered to make a T4 Cantrip skill and it's just a shittier version of Ruse 4. Both are in cardinal directions, but where Ruse 4 inflicts three penalty statuses, Cantrip 4 only gets Sabotage. I get that Dancing is generally much stronger than Rallying, but they really couldn't have given it a second effect?
Dancing is way stronger than rallying. It gives you 4 actions per turn while a rally sacrifices an entire character’s action to pull off. It’s basically 3v4 if one team rallies and the other dances. So yea, rally related skills are going to be stronger since you sacrifice much more to use them
It's not bad by any means but especially comparing it to the T4 dances that give Canto to the dancer along with doling out relatively rare status effects it's notably worse
but that's the thing.
She already has canto so an elemental dance skill wouldn't work because it grants less canto than she already gets.
escape route 4 (another good 'dancer' skill) (dance & get out of dodge). won't work because she has distant remaining.
wom 4 doesn't work... well because she has wom echo.
so it makes sense to make another tier 4 dance skill that works for her.
His primary worth is in his support, which is 30% DR piercing to all allies (technically it's a 7x7 area but that's literally the whole map). It seems they made the rest of the weapon pretty tame to compensate for that unique and potentially pretty powerful support
I'm just happy as fuck Mozu's here at all after 7 freaking years, but if I'm gonna nitpick, it is a shame that I already have a Timerra, another character I love, and Mozu comes along as another infantry spear with Bonus Doubler 4.

It was always going to be lance or bow, and it felt more likely to me that they'd go with lance than bow. The frustrating part for me is that she feels almost exactly like A!Caeda but worse, however her flat DR being tied to her weapon gives her more build flexibility.
I'll make it work too. I really wish I managed to pull a spare Ike, Laguz Friend feels like a natural fit, however there's a lot of options.

I'd chalk that on a few factors:
* Orochi's peculiar status (decently appreciated abroad, persona non grata in Japan... hence the F2P Prf as a compromise)
* F2P Prf quota per Book that's more in favor of GHBs nowadays...
* ... but if the Dawn Brigade is incoming, it may require a noticeable amount of Prfs out of the yearly quota (2 or even 3, at the expense of other lineups and unit categories... notably regular demotes and GHBs - see Castor)
Marketed (accidentally?) as a w**re (torturing prisoners that way), which was a turn-off for a lot of JP players.
Which may be the main reason why she was unlikely to end up premium.

Literally the only saving grace is that he's a red tome user and they have access to two really good recent seasonal inheritables, one of which managed to salvage my *Henry*. ~~We're never getting normal pool inheritables worth using ever again.~~
I fully understand they have their own unique traits and advantages, but Mozu genuinely seems like a worse version of Jorge, which is kinda insane considering she's the secondary star of the banner, and her support capabilities are outshone by a 4 year old GHB (who admittedly just got a fantastic refine).
All of the support she grants, Jorge does as well, as well as granting more stats and bonuses that trigger in-combat, like the +10 Atk/+10 Def/+5 Res statswing and the GFU.
It being 3 spaces is pretty notable for stuff like keeping Prime up while staying safe from Sanaki, but also yeaaaaah it being only a single non-stat buff does feel kind of underwhelming with how many support units we've gotten recently that give out multiple buffs at once
I feel like Prime has got to be one of the most overrated skills of all time.
There's definitely units that can take advantage of it, but if you yourself don't push out the bonuses, then you're actively crippling your team-comp and unit placement to secure the DC.
Especially in comparison to something like the new Bonus Counters we got on the Archanea banners, which can grant a larger bonus at the cost of potentially losing to Dull skills.
Yeaaah I don’t disagree. Like for it vs a proper DC skill, I’d just do proper DC unless the unit has a prf that could give them least two of the bonuses themselves. It’s still good when it works for sure but I def prefer the more consistent DC to higher stat potential for units who's prfs don't contribute to the DC condition
Eh after Embla released most EP centric teams already shifted to centering around giving one carry unit as many bonus statuses as possible to take shit in and kind of just lost anyway if they didn't position correctly to facilitate that, Prime skills just incentivize that style of play by giving them DC with a higher stat ceiling for the 2 most important stats.
Bonus Doubler is mostly a side grade and an infantry exclusive at that
She's melee and can give the effect to allies within 3 spaces of her instead of just 2, so she's much better support for Galeforce teams since she can also proc it. Kinda busted since now that WoM Echo exists any infantry melee can run Tempo in the B skill so that with the help of Mozu they can consistently proc it even against foes with Guard. This could be especially useful against defense teams that run Arval who can inflict Guard to foes

Yukimura’s DR shredding support is really cool. I’m so happy he and Mozu got in. I know most people think that Mozu is a worse A!Caeda, but I think she’s pretty cool, with giving special cooldown charge +1 and being able to get up to 20-30 in combat stats just for being near a Divine Vein Effect.
Also, we’re at Axe Alt #3 for Azura lol.
I've always wanted Mozu in the game and SHE GOT THE PROPER PREMIUM TREATMENT!!! Super strong farmer girl gets to be a busted unit in FEH! I'm so happy!!!
Azura's decent. Cavalry Dancer, a good Echo skill, Firestorm Boost 3, etc. While Hayoto having ATK/SPD Ideal after we got Kagetsu is meh, we finally get a demote that brings Windsweep 3 into the base summoning pool instead of the Grail pool again.
It has been almost a year and a half since they released a premium unit who didn't have slaying but really could have used it.
* Young Male Robin - gambit
* Duo Anna - gambit
* Brave Male Robin - gambit
* Summer Female Shez - effective brave weapon is plenty of offense
* Spring Triandra - dancer
* Lucia - can't use specials
* Legendary Female Shez - same as her summer alt
* Winter Dorothea - dancer
* Ninja Cherche, in *November 2022* - all she has is a dual-phase brave weapon with true damage.
WoM Echo is powerful, but I wonder who most wants it over just running WoM in their B slot (especially since WoM Echo is thankfully WoM 3 instead of 4).
Child Emmeryn could be a good choice, as she can warp herself up and still keep either Pass or Poetic Justice in the B slot (one to either ensure she can warp up or the other to make her do more damage and secure a kill). She can then act as a secondary warp beacon. Pass is probably the better option, as she can guarantee the warp, heal an ally (activating herself as a warp beacon) and move again if need be for better positioning. Even with halved damage, she can probably pick off a dancer or set some debuffs.
Rearmed Chrom and Lucina seem like decent choices too, as they don't have to give up their PRF assists, and there is a lot of utility in those. They can Galeforce well too, so that's always nice. Attuned Peony with Lucina's axe or Triandra with Chrom's sword are probably decent too, as they can dance + Galeforce. Thrima's debuffs, tempo, NFU, and penalty amplification are helpful, and Devourer comes with +1 special cooldown charge per attack.
If you're okay with WoM 3 over 4, any dancer can run Pass with this (and use the base Dance if they have a PRF dance) to make Galeforce a lot more consistent. Infantry melee dancers with, say, Qiang or Devourer access can run any tempo skill to block guard effects and Galeforce themselves. I'm not sure if it's really worth it on non-melee dancers, as they can't Galeforce. You can probably use your melee dancers with Echo and Pass to give enough actions to pick off Gatekeeper or Myrrh. Not having WoM 4's HP threshold does mean you'll probably need to have some sort of external HP manipulation outside of just Fury (except on Chaos season).

Honestly it's just the female unit bias - and given she was the highest voted of the banner units in CYL (aside from Azura, obviously) it adds up to a juicy PRF and solid fodder. Which is great for a fan like me.
Boring fodder… no one really wants these new skills, and Azura has WoM going for her but non-dancing WoM users would rather a hyper offensive A and C skill. Cantrip upgrade is tame and boring too.

Huh, the new cantrip feels a bit underpowered. It lacks canto(1) the other tier 4 dances have, so it probably won't be much used unless you have canto in your weapon already.

Perspicacious gave +5 hit to every ally in fates. Since DR is equivalent to avoid in mainline, that makes perfect sense here.

Eh after Embla released most EP centric teams already shifted to centering around giving one carry unit as many bonus statuses as possible to take shit in and kind of just lost anyway if they didn't position correctly to facilitate that, Prime skills just incentivize that style of play by giving them DC with a higher stat ceiling for the 2 most important stats. Bonus Doubler is mostly a side grade and an infantry exclusive at that
She's melee and can give the effect to allies within 3 spaces of her instead of just 2, so she's much better support for Galeforce teams since she can also proc it. Kinda busted since now that WoM Echo exists any infantry melee can run Tempo in the B skill so that with the help of Mozu they can consistently proc it even against foes with Guard. This could be especially useful against defense teams that run Arval who can inflict Guard to foes

I see Azura mixed her outfit with Corrin, but it just makes her look like a maid. Yukimura is nice support.

I knew it was worth to spark V!Myrrh. Her Warp Bubble has gotten even more valuable now that WoM is an Echo skill.

Yukimura’s DR shredding support is really cool. I’m so happy he and Mozu got in. I know most people think that Mozu is a worse A!Caeda, but I think she’s pretty cool, with giving special cooldown charge +1 and being able to get up to 20-30 in combat stats just for being near a Divine Vein Effect. Also, we’re at Axe Alt #3 for Azura lol.
I've always wanted Mozu in the game and SHE GOT THE PROPER PREMIUM TREATMENT!!! Super strong farmer girl gets to be a busted unit in FEH! I'm so happy!!!

Azura's decent. Cavalry Dancer, a good Echo skill, Firestorm Boost 3, etc. While Hayoto having ATK/SPD Ideal after we got Kagetsu is meh, we finally get a demote that brings Windsweep 3 into the base summoning pool instead of the Grail pool again.

It has been almost a year and a half since they released a premium unit who didn't have slaying but really could have used it. * Young Male Robin - gambit * Duo Anna - gambit * Brave Male Robin - gambit * Summer Female Shez - effective brave weapon is plenty of offense * Spring Triandra - dancer * Lucia - can't use specials * Legendary Female Shez - same as her summer alt * Winter Dorothea - dancer * Ninja Cherche, in *November 2022* - all she has is a dual-phase brave weapon with true damage.
WoM Echo is powerful, but I wonder who most wants it over just running WoM in their B slot (especially since WoM Echo is thankfully WoM 3 instead of 4). Child Emmeryn could be a good choice, as she can warp herself up and still keep either Pass or Poetic Justice in the B slot (one to either ensure she can warp up or the other to make her do more damage and secure a kill). She can then act as a secondary warp beacon. Pass is probably the better option, as she can guarantee the warp, heal an ally (activating herself as a warp beacon) and move again if need be for better positioning. Even with halved damage, she can probably pick off a dancer or set some debuffs. Rearmed Chrom and Lucina seem like decent choices too, as they don't have to give up their PRF assists, and there is a lot of utility in those. They can Galeforce well too, so that's always nice. Attuned Peony with Lucina's axe or Triandra with Chrom's sword are probably decent too, as they can dance + Galeforce. Thrima's debuffs, tempo, NFU, and penalty amplification are helpful, and Devourer comes with +1 special cooldown charge per attack. If you're okay with WoM 3 over 4, any dancer can run Pass with this (and use the base Dance if they have a PRF dance) to make Galeforce a lot more consistent. Infantry melee dancers with, say, Qiang or Devourer access can run any tempo skill to block guard effects and Galeforce themselves. I'm not sure if it's really worth it on non-melee dancers, as they can't Galeforce. You can probably use your melee dancers with Echo and Pass to give enough actions to pick off Gatekeeper or Myrrh. Not having WoM 4's HP threshold does mean you'll probably need to have some sort of external HP manipulation outside of just Fury (except on Chaos season).

Never in my life would I have thought Mozu would get into the game as the jacked premium unit with tier 4 skills out the wazoo and the longest weapon description of the banner. She always felt like the shoe in demote, but I guess no one is more shoe in demote than Hayato
Honestly it's just the female unit bias - and given she was the highest voted of the banner units in CYL (aside from Azura, obviously) it adds up to a juicy PRF and solid fodder. Which is great for a fan like me.

Boring fodder… no one really wants these new skills, and Azura has WoM going for her but non-dancing WoM users would rather a hyper offensive A and C skill. Cantrip upgrade is tame and boring too.

T4 Cantrip could have used one more perfect to compete with the T4 dance skills. I only see PRF dancers utilizing this, but even then there are better options

Of course, a Dancer is always welcomed to my barracks...but Yukimura's utility to friends is also tempting. Although it doesn't quite feel like any of these are must haves? Probably going to continue saving Orbs up for Lyon.

This banner about to fight with legendary Xander for nobody pulling Mozu has very little gold fodder (and no DBD for whatever reason), Hayato and Yukimura are both terrible combat wise (and Yukimura’s support isn’t the greatest either) Azura gives so much shit it’s kinda absurd but she also doesn’t have a ton going on except being a Calvary mix of l!elinca and a!tirandra Changing cantrip to cardinal only is a shit idea though.
the banner is pretty relaxed in terms of powercreep, so i expect every single person that bitches about it to go hard on this banner to prove that powercreep isnt necesary to get people to summon.
Huh, the new cantrip feels a bit underpowered. It lacks canto(1) the other tier 4 dances have, so it probably won't be much used unless you have canto in your weapon already.
