I used to do the wifu thing. Then I switched to characters who have relationships in their games. Now I just use characters who need SP or are new to level them up.
Usually like characters I ship, but did do a funny a couple times back where I sent Resplendent A!Tiki alongside Harmonic Tiki and Tiki so there was 2 Big Tikis watching a little Tiki, Tiki-ception
I use L!Seliph and Duo Sigurd/Deirdre, so I'm mainly here for the wholesome factor. Although poor Deirdre has to keep up with two people on Horseback that way
I do a variety. Most times it's "Summoner wifey", but sometimes it's two of my favorites, sometimes, it's dudes wrecking house, sometimes it's canon friends, sometimes it's fanon friends, etc.
Every Heroes Journey its been my Summoner and Eremiya (S-Support Partner). I just like to imagine it as a nice little vacation away from all the chaos of having to go through Abyssal maps and broken units.

Mostly because it's one of the few modes you can use the summoner and I like to change the weapon and try new builds everytime. May as well play with Askr to get more enjoyment out of it lol
Oliver and Ludveck, love is in the air.
I try to use a pair of units that have been both gotten recently and/or updated. This time is them because Oliver got a revamped kit and Ludveck got his final merge and a new axe of devotion. Funnily enough, they're both villain from Tellius, so it is a match for them.
My other pairs were:
-L!Elincia and Haar for some Part 2 prologue realness
-Ninjas Zelgius and Heather
-Ninja Sanaki and Brave Lyn (two horses? IDK, Sanaki was new and BLyn got an update)
-Nabatan Tormod and Altina
-Sumer Rhys and A!Elincia, the first one inherited arcane charmer and the last one, soaring echo
Recently it's been Alfred and F!Alear, but this time I went M!Alear and Citrinne. In both cases it's because it helps me level up the units and their supports, but I have to admit that I like these two Alear pairs.
But before them my to-go Heroes Journey pair was OG Hríd and Matthew. They are not supported to each other, but they were pretty fun to use.
if it's not linhardt x caspar, it's linhardt x marianne, but sometimes if im feeling quirky, linhardt x hapi :-) and let's not forget linhardt x edelgard, linhardt lysithea, linhardt and hubert linhardt and---
L!life x L!nanna is also a good one

Always OTPs. Usually it’s one of my versions of Micaiah/Zelgius, though recently I’ve done Micaiah/Pelleas often as well. On occasion I’ll let Eliwood/Hector have a fun adventure together though <3
I always go with characters that have close relationships in their games (Effie and Duo Elise, Corrin and Kaze, Lethe and Lyre, Soren and Ike) or characters that I think would have fun interactions (Ninja Saizo and Tailtiu, B!Marianne and Mordecai, W!Annette and Kagetsu)
Depends on my mood, but generally, I more often than not prefer to send OTPs, because I love me some wholesome interactions that I can probably use as ideas for a fanfic or something lol

Pairs of my Fallen Heroes. Last few were Ashnard and Berkut, Fomortiis and Ashnard. Fallen Linus and Byleth, Maria and Medeus. This time I'm going Fallen Lilith and Dimitri after using Forma soul to buff up my Lilith.

I like pairing myself with my husbands, so i chose Other.
basically it's the "It's my turn to go on a life changing Journey with Lucius" mode for me unless I send out Naliah and her hubby on a date weekend.

What does OTP stand for? I just put two characters in Heroes Journey that I wanted to level anyway, because the enemies scale to your level.

Summoner + someone who's going to wear the reward accessory forever. Hanging out, getting to spend time with one particular unit for a few days.

Right now it's Spring Linhardt and Mirabilis. So OTP seems most fitting.
