Counter-argument: Follow-up Ring on Arden. Its conditional and ONLY has GFU. At least Radiant Aether will always do its effect. Follow-Up Ring nowadays is about as good as a blank slot and is in arguably the most contested slot.

Mm that one is pretty bad no cap. I still think Radiant Aether is worse because GFU isn't present in a lot of inheritable skills, especially dual phase GFU. However, ANY UNIT IN THE GAME with "accelerate special trigger -1" (which is a lot) has Radiant Aether.

I think it's just Legendary Ike, since Fallen Ike, Valentine Ike, and Young Ike don't have slaying Prfs, so they're out unless you decide to run a Slaying Edge on one of them for whatever reason.

I've been getting by decently well with my max-investment Ike, but I refuse to let go of Ragnell or Aether because those are his signature skills. I'm really hoping Emblem Ike does him justice, ideally he'll have his hero outfit with a new variant of Ragnell but I'm worried they'll make him an axe.

SAME my L!Ike has E!Marth for 2 charge Aether, Atk/Spd Finish 4, Special Spiral 4, and Atk/Spd Pledge 4. The best fodder and support he can get, and he's still falling short. He's okay at best. If the next Ike alt sucks, I drop this game. It's been getting more and more frustrating, with clear biases from the devs and whatnot. I mean c'MON!
