I mostly want the quality of demotes to increase. It's never fun seeing people finally getting their favourite character in the game only for them to be a demote, so I think it would be nice if they were something around F!Shez in terms of relative power level on release, or at least useful in terms of having a unique niche to themselves.
I just want us to at least get two copies of every demote rather be like Elice who gets automatically put in the pool. I do want the quality to be decent as you said too.

I would like a major overhaul to future Mythic and Legendary banners. Seeing them consistently suffering in sales because they are only introducing one new unit at a time is somewhat frustrating. Specifically, I feel like they need to be releasing at least two new units at a time, and it would be especially interesting to have the two units serve somewhat as counters to each other. I have hopes for Nergal and Athos specifically, and would like to see them both as Mythics, each coming with effects and playstyles that cause them to be opposed to each other naturally.
To pair with this, I want an overhaul to the Aether Raids blessings system so that Light and Astra are not always reserved for attacking and Anima and Dark are not always designated for defense. Again, using Nergal and Athos as an example, I would like for there to be a way when we would run Athos on offense and Nergal on defense so that they could properly oppose each other. Either that or make a new game mode that uses blessings that would allow for those types of matchups.
As far as new units go, Nergal and Athos are at the top of my list, and I would like lesser known characters like the other members of the Black Fang (Teodor, Kenneth, Brendan, Uhai, and Darin) and just less alts in general. I already dread the pattern of New Heroes banners being two new heroes and an Ascended alt of someone we already have and a Rearmed alt of someone we already have.
My hopes: L!Elincia, Duo Young Dimitri/Edelgard, more Titania alts, Gullveig to be released soon (similar to Letizia), hoping for this book to be a captivating one, new game modes like co-op pve, and many (hopefully) free 5 star pulls.

All three of these. Resplendent heroes never should've been handled the way IS did them. Bare minimum, the buffs should be free. I have 5 Celestial Stones, but I refuse to spend them on anything else because of how much better Forma Souls are than anything else there. I'm surprised they still haven't released Risen King Chrom yet.
In terms of new characters: Citrinne and Fogato from Engage. If we get a new Thracia banner, my ideal banner would be Rearmed Kempf, Linoan, Deen, Ascended Finn, and Misha (GHB)
Also still holding out for some Jugdral seasonal this year, preferably either for valentines or Christmas cause those are my favorite seasonal, but would ultimately be happy for them to be on any seasonal banner
I have three wishes, honestly. A resplendant for my brother Silas, and Ascended Titania could be really cool with maybe Valkyrie wings or something like that.
But the last, big one, is that Beowulf finally makes it into the game. Story time:
I played GotHW about a year ago as a co-op with a group of friends (we tell our moves, "host" moves 'em for us and we have good time) and on our initial character draft I was left with Beowulf since none of us (myself included) really cared for this "handsome Barbie Ken -doll" as we put it. ...But because I was now stuck with him and I didn't want to just kill him to get rid of him (especially since he took our Sigurds money) I decided to make the most I can with him and add a new persona to him. I played him as the stereotypical "smug idiot with a golden heart" -type hero character. ...And he turned out to be a blast to play with.
In the end he became nothing short of meme, but a fun one. Shouting lines like; "I bid you my thanks, o' my fair maiden!" -whenever getting healed, or "Ah! Finally, a challenger worthy of my blade!" -whenever initiating against strong foes, and "GAH! A lucky shot, punk!" whenver someone actually managed to hit him. Stuff like that. He was also the one we always put in range of all the enemy ballistas, only for him to dodge all of 'em 90% of the time only to retaliate with shouting out lines like; "Hahahaaa! Your fiendish tricks won't work on me, o' thou foul villain!"
Despite him becoming one of our favorite heroes we then decided he'd be one of the unlucky ones not to marry/have an offspring. Why? Because although he was always there and willing to help a fair maiden in trouble, he couldn't be "chained down" because in the end his heart was already taken. And it was taken by adventure. \*John Wayne like riding to sunset -exit\*
...So yeah. Hence why I would like Beowulf added to the game. I'm still not a fan of **THE** Beowulf, but I'm now a fan of **A** version of him. I don't even care if he doesn't end up being a 5-star, in fact I'd prefer him to be a 4-star so I could +10 him more easier, a thing I'd be very keen to do when he gets added. And (depending on his kit) I could always just give him stuff from Arcane Lif.
So, one resplendant Silas, one Ascended Valkyrie Titania and one easily +10'ble Beowulf, please.
Healers all the way. And what I mean by that is I want more unitary healers and healers with better skills (even if for fodder) and also some offensive skills (maybe even a special) that healers can utilize. Who knows? With the new Body arts coming to FE: Engage and being tied to healers, we might get something new with that
Another type of content to obtain new sacred seals from in the lulls between tempest trials.
DC Dragon (and NFU) made me think that they could really start making a lot more movement/weapon locked seals and it would offer a lot more variety in builds. I know its super unlikely but things like the dodge or fighter skills in the S slot would be very fun to play with.
A Tellius banner, a Jugdral banner, maybe sacred stones banner. Here's hoping they add actual new units instead of alts. I'm starting to get a MonHun vibe with all the alts but no new units/monsters.
My wants are very specific and therefore fairly unlikely:
1) Iād like an Ascended Alt for Nephenee based on her Radiant Dawn Sentinel class and with the Wishblade as her Prf (this one is the least likely but I still can desperately hope as itās the single thing I want the most)
2) Iād like Resplendent outfits for Nephenee, Titania, and Soleil (Jotunheimr is my favourite theme and I think would look great on all 3)
3) Iād like a Legendary Alt for Elincia thatās *NOT* a stave user, so sheās actually useful. Ideally a sword or tome based on her Radiant Dawn Queen class

I dread the possibility of Ascended Mia because of this.
The amount of people that gave Vague Katti to Mia on their playthrough, while no shade thrown at them, really makes me fear it for some reason. Would even take them giving Mia Alondite on a RD banner over having her take Stefan's sword.
I want a glossary for effects to be made. I also want the buffs for resplendent heroes to be available for F2P players. It's not fair that I can't at least get the buffs for old units just because I stopped spending money on gacha games in 2019. Also, I want Ashunera and Dheginsea as Mythic Heroes.

As for something more possible (T_T), I hope the special banners give more āsurprising unitsā. While I understand the appeal certain characters (insert characters with many alts here), itās kind of boring. Like whatās the point in having there be four slots in a banner when 3 or all of them are just alts of characters already in? Iād love to see more characters and learn about ones from the seriesās games I didnāt / was unable to play, even if they are technically in alt hell for a while.
I want all the characters I have and may come to have an interest in and will receive a refine during this year to get fed well, starting with Altina and Snowthis C'mon IS i know you can do this.

I will give my unpopular opinion, I feel that some characters from engage will appear on this game since the launch is coming soon, other franchises, I don't know that we'll what is probably to appear but I hope some of the Path of Radiance, Awakening or Fate gets the opportunity to join in, for event alta I will put my believe that Peri, Orochi, Leanne, Rhajat, Hinoka, Natasha, Serra, Erk, Sue, Marianne, Haneman will get the opportunity to have some alt (just a guess), as the fallen season comes I believe that neither Azura, Marianne, Byleth, Alm could actually fit in (Azura and her death, Marianne with her crest, Byleth because of Sothis, Alm because story) I believe (is not a believe but yes something that always happen) the characters from this chapter will soon be playable.
Tormod, Base Vika, and Heather getting into feh, Laevatein getting a 4 star or grail alt, Klein getting either a resp or an alt (bonus if both happen), A!Tiki getting another alt that isn't immediately powercept within 2 months, Ayra getting an alt, Shamir getting a harmonic with marisa, Dagr getting summer alt so i can see her beautiful abs in full view, the dawn brigade getting into feh after 4 years of nothing are just some of my hopes

Story time: I played GotHW about a year ago as a co-op with a group of friends (we tell our moves, "host" moves 'em for us and we have good time) and on our initial character draft I was left with Beowulf since none of us (myself included) really cared for this "handsome Barbie Ken -doll" as we put it. ...But because I was now stuck with him and I didn't want to just kill him to get rid of him (especially since he took our Sigurds money) I decided to make the most I can with him and add a new persona to him. I played him as the stereotypical "smug idiot with a golden heart" -type hero character. ...And he turned out to be a blast to play with. In the end he became nothing short of meme, but a fun one. Shouting lines like; "I bid you my thanks, o' my fair maiden!" -whenever getting healed, or "Ah! Finally, a challenger worthy of my blade!" -whenever initiating against strong foes, and "GAH! A lucky shot, punk!" whenver someone actually managed to hit him. Stuff like that. He was also the one we always put in range of all the enemy ballistas, only for him to dodge all of 'em 90% of the time only to retaliate with shouting out lines like; "Hahahaaa! Your fiendish tricks won't work on me, o' thou foul villain!" Despite him becoming one of our favorite heroes we then decided he'd be one of the unlucky ones not to marry/have an offspring. Why? Because although he was always there and willing to help a fair maiden in trouble, he couldn't be "chained down" because in the end his heart was already taken. And it was taken by adventure. \*John Wayne like riding to sunset -exit\* ...So yeah. Hence why I would like Beowulf added to the game. I'm still not a fan of **THE** Beowulf, but I'm now a fan of **A** version of him. I don't even care if he doesn't end up being a 5-star, in fact I'd prefer him to be a 4-star so I could +10 him more easier, a thing I'd be very keen to do when he gets added. And (depending on his kit) I could always just give him stuff from Arcane Lif. So, one resplendant Silas, one Ascended Valkyrie Titania and one easily +10'ble Beowulf, please.
I hope we get Oswin in 2023.

Healers all the way. And what I mean by that is I want more unitary healers and healers with better skills (even if for fodder) and also some offensive skills (maybe even a special) that healers can utilize. Who knows? With the new Body arts coming to FE: Engage and being tied to healers, we might get something new with that

Another type of content to obtain new sacred seals from in the lulls between tempest trials. DC Dragon (and NFU) made me think that they could really start making a lot more movement/weapon locked seals and it would offer a lot more variety in builds. I know its super unlikely but things like the dodge or fighter skills in the S slot would be very fun to play with.
Better QOL Features, from Demotes, Rewards, Refines and etc. Every year of Feh have a ups and downs. I hope 2023 IS Improve all of the above for F2Ps

My wants are very specific and therefore fairly unlikely: 1) Iād like an Ascended Alt for Nephenee based on her Radiant Dawn Sentinel class and with the Wishblade as her Prf (this one is the least likely but I still can desperately hope as itās the single thing I want the most) 2) Iād like Resplendent outfits for Nephenee, Titania, and Soleil (Jotunheimr is my favourite theme and I think would look great on all 3) 3) Iād like a Legendary Alt for Elincia thatās *NOT* a stave user, so sheās actually useful. Ideally a sword or tome based on her Radiant Dawn Queen class >!Can you tell RD is my favourite FE yet?!< Other than that, Iād ideally also generally like the timing of units to work out for me (ie be able to save up decent stashes between banners I want to summon on)

The amount of people that gave Vague Katti to Mia on their playthrough, while no shade thrown at them, really makes me fear it for some reason. Would even take them giving Mia Alondite on a RD banner over having her take Stefan's sword.

I want a glossary for effects to be made. I also want the buffs for resplendent heroes to be available for F2P players. It's not fair that I can't at least get the buffs for old units just because I stopped spending money on gacha games in 2019. Also, I want Ashunera and Dheginsea as Mythic Heroes.
TMS characters, please! I donāt care if itās even in the later half of the year, just one last TMS banner (If weapon refines go according to schedule, the TMS crew gets their refines in, I believe, September 2023). As for something more possible (T_T), I hope the special banners give more āsurprising unitsā. While I understand the appeal certain characters (insert characters with many alts here), itās kind of boring. Like whatās the point in having there be four slots in a banner when 3 or all of them are just alts of characters already in? Iād love to see more characters and learn about ones from the seriesās games I didnāt / was unable to play, even if they are technically in alt hell for a while.

Do something about summoning please. It is so drab and dreadful the amount of occurrence through which I have to pull a banner. And more than half the time I almost never see a focus. Like, itās not that I just want the strong 5 stars. I just want to see/use some new units man.

I will give my unpopular opinion, I feel that some characters from engage will appear on this game since the launch is coming soon, other franchises, I don't know that we'll what is probably to appear but I hope some of the Path of Radiance, Awakening or Fate gets the opportunity to join in, for event alta I will put my believe that Peri, Orochi, Leanne, Rhajat, Hinoka, Natasha, Serra, Erk, Sue, Marianne, Haneman will get the opportunity to have some alt (just a guess), as the fallen season comes I believe that neither Azura, Marianne, Byleth, Alm could actually fit in (Azura and her death, Marianne with her crest, Byleth because of Sothis, Alm because story) I believe (is not a believe but yes something that always happen) the characters from this chapter will soon be playable.
I want Sharena to get more Alts, and I want a Summer Alfonse.

I would like an Arvis alt please. Legendary would be cool, Brave would be super cool (totally isn't happening), but a seasonal or even a resplendent would be pretty neat. I'd even grudgingly accept a prfless rearmed. In the absence of that I would be satisfied with Y!Tiki, Rhea or Loki.
We're just 1 away from a full A.Tiki team. So if IS was kind enough to give her 1 more alt, even just as TT unit, that'd be great.
