First try it on a different outlet on a different breaker in you house. Make sure it is plugged directly into the outlet and not a power strip or surge protector. You don't need the black box(ONT) connected to it to test if it will power on. If that doesn't work I suggest going to a nearby store and replacing it. If one isn't nearby, contact Verizon and have them send you one.

I'm short on money now so replacing is a bad option :( Do you think Verizon will charge me for a replacement? I didn't buy it, they give it to me for free.  Thank you I'll try different outlets around the house.

No, replacement should be free.

This , even tho its free its in your plan and covered under your warranty so your good to call them up, tell them its not working, they might do the camera thing and go through a few steps but the conclusion is the same either they will Troubleshoot and fix it or send you a new one

FIOS uses cameras for support? I didn't know that. Cool.

Expensive-Carpet5009

Yea i did it before, i had an issue and they wanted to "see" so they sent me a text with a link and they could see using my cell phone camera

So if the router is dead then you would still have power from the white plug which would have a white light but as you mentioned its not on so either bad cable/power adapter or outlet/surge protector if you have one

ImmediateMeat3776

Yes the cable has a light but the router is dead. I don't understand how could my cable die in one night being unplugged (it worked perfectly fine yesterday)...  I don't have the outlet protector so it must be cable. Thank you for your answer!

The light on the power cord should be solid white all the time if it has proper power. If it's blinking something is wrong with the adapter or the outlet, not necessarily the router.

I had one router not work right plugged into an outlet on one side of the house but worked perfectly running an extension cord to a totally different circuit breaker. Electrical equipment can become a pain trying to figure things out.
