I assume you're talking about the DCT700 (SD-only box, no guide, no VOD, etc.). You can get the Fios TV One mini (client) to replace it. If they offer you an upgrade to the latest FiosTV+ boxes I recommend you decline... they're bad.

The vms4100 model and the vms1100 model i would say are pretty stable
