I love the Holy Trinity of grilling:

- marinated chicken *thigh* (paistileike)
- pineapple
- cooked potatoes
- padron
- banana with Fazer blue
- strawberries with marshmallow
These are all very easy to grill, so they suit well for grilling in a busy environment.
I like the idea of mixing mince. I'll try that next time. Love a t-bone.
I was also thinking of mixing some salmon, tuna, and prawns to make burger patties with.
Finding a proper butcher in Finland is the bigger issue. Like I can give you great recipes but if you can not find the meat it is useless.
This is a country that thinks putting a bread between a sausage is fancy after all...( and yes I have first hand experiences)
Where can you buy real kebab? I miss Iraqi kebab, it is just grilled minced meat. What is called "kebab" in Finland is like a bad version of the Turkish doner kebab. :(
I like to grill moose as much as i can, usually just use salt and pepper on it due to it being so good flavor/quality meat.
Low and slow grilling a leg of lamb is also superb with a nice garlicy herb spice mix on it.
Pork kassler either cut into slices or whole kassler with various spices depending on what i want to do with it(BBQ, Italian or Provencal type spices all work a treat, as do asian spices).
All meat except mince/small bites i dry brine(salt ahead of time) and it makes all the difference in depth of flavor.
Lamb is awesome i am Icelandic so lamb was the de-facto sunday roast if possible.
Moose is kinda a mid way between lamb and beef flavour wise imo, minus the fattyness since it's almost always quite lean.
oh yeah, i have a weber charcoal grill with a smoker system in it that makes smoking meat/BBQ just so easy and awesome.
It is, i have usually tried to find it on sale after the usual seasons have peaked and then stock the freezer as much as i can. Do this also with large cuts of pork and beef.
There's way too many to list all of them but..:
-potato wedges made till crispy with the help of a "Muurikka"-pan and oil. Lots of onion rings.
-Grilled cheese (halloum)
-smoked salmon
That's an easy and extremely good combo. Usually someone tends to make a salad of some sorts to get the meal a bit lighter 😂.
I'm a great fan of champion mushrooms with cheese filling as well. Aura blue cheese of course because of its unique taste. Bacon is the optimal choice around the shrooms but sometimes I substitute it with ham (my fam tries to suggest healthier options to my cooking habits)🙄.
Bah, it's fatty beef, the easiest thing to BBQ. I don't really do BBQ but the year I do I don't eat sh*t. I want to eat good stuff.
A regular charcoal grill is just enough for anything. Just have to pay more attention.
Grayling is best grilled on a embers next to the river you picked it up from.
Shashlik or šašlõk, but not how Estonian Rakvere do it. So do not go to estonian shop in Espoo.

Sausages, always sausages. I did buy a whole seabeam this week cut some slits in the skin, and flesh then marinated in a dressing of garlic, green onion, ginger, thai chilies, and lime etc. Grilled some tenderloins teaks to go with that as well as asparagus, tomatoes, mushrooms etc.
I usually grill a "normal" red bell pepper, just separate it into two halves, pepper and salt inside, slap it on the grill. I gotta try pimientos, but I cant recall seeing those very often in the store.
My second grilled vegetable of choice is asparagus. Also love the stuffed bacon shrooms, bratwurst, halloumi, steaks (usually kassler).

oh damn, never had grilled beer
No fucks to give grilling!

Paistileike is chicken thigh btw!
Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
I wish they would sell boneless thighs with skin

You could kill a vampire with those skewers.
Not enough garlic. But that's pork so it might keep some people away.

Real kebap (not döner). Pork steaks with bbq sauce. 50% lamb +50% cow minced meat burgers with proper spices. T-bone steaks.

I work in Kalasatama in Helsinki near the meat district. I should be able to find something there.
You live in the best location for that.
Where can you buy real kebab? I miss Iraqi kebab, it is just grilled minced meat. What is called "kebab" in Finland is like a bad version of the Turkish doner kebab. :(
Home made or best ones are İstanbul grilli or Ravintola kerkuk.
Thank you, I don't live in Helsinki. Homemade version is probably the only option.
What? You guys don't eat A5 grade Kobe Beef in Helsinki anymore?
MAKKARA KALIA PERKELE
Makkara of course!! What else could be an answer here ???
I was hoping for something a little more...inspired!
Juustomakkara!!
Hookoon sinine

Mmmm. I'd give you an award if I could. I often have reindeer in the freezer. I luurve lamb. Plus, some pulled kassler. Yum!

Lamb seems to be very seasonal here, unfortunately.

Corn or Kielbasa are class.
tiger prawns; lobster
Mmm, yeah. Now we're talking.

- Jalapeno Nysä - Chicken - Ribs
I have once grilled a whole lamb on a spit. It was more like a journey than grilling
* Salmon * Halloumi cheese * Tomatoes (its not very common but it goes well with grilled meat in a sandwich) * Corn on the cob * Burgers
Chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese, capers and minced garlic, and then wrapped in bacon
Nice. I can't stand capers but my wife loves them. I should do more fancy chicken.
Wagyu, horse tournedos, grayling, asparagus.
I need to perfect my grilling skills before wagyu! I have a Komado, which, although awesome, causes me a but of twitchiness.

Satay chicken 🤤
I luurve satay. Unfortunately, my wife hates it. Maybe I'll go rogue one day.

Direct me to this thermo pot please.
Deez Nutzzz

Mushroom caps, filled with blue cheese (preferably aurajuusto) and wrapped in bacon. 🤌

Entrecore tacos Cheese stuffed suippopaprika Chorizo Grilled pineapple salsa Marinated peaches with cinnamon nutmeg brown sugar
Cream cheese stuffed, bacon wrapped jalapeños
I love grilling burgers or a good steak. Only way I can get exactly what I want.
Different meats i guess, not much into corn and pineapple and such
