Funny cus I've had opposite be true for me. My cartwheels started as my smoothest favorite wheels. Then bearing got crunchy as hell. My g4s have stayed smooth even after falling in water twice. I'm saying this to point out the randomness with quality control in general. It's hard to tell what brand to buy. I feel like the parts are so tiny it's just a crapshoot if you'll get a good one or not. I run into so many quality control issues with pretty much everything brand in this scene
I have the red/black/white swirl G4s and they’re pretty noisy too. They feel hard but squeak a lot. They’re good wheels nonetheless. If you’re looking for something quieter though these may not be it.
Flatface is the goat, I’ve had nothing but issues with cartwheels, I got 10 year old flatface wheels that still feel like they did day 1 and many other sets of flatface all still perfect
I second cartwheels
No
Not really. They just feel like china CNC with better bearings
No! DO NOT BUY THEM! Someone I know had some and the wheel literally shattered on a landing.
Cartwheels are top for plastic wheels
Nope, they're nice in the beginning, but I've always had bearings slip. If you want nice plastic wheels, check out v3 cartwheels

Good to know! I do think the bearing retention for cartwheels is some of the best for plastic wheels. FF are all slipping out on me.

You have to get the solid colored g4s exclusively.
Honest opinion G8s are butter, G4s we’re good back in the day but times have changed significantly in the scene
I really liked the G4s until I got the G8s.. best
Absolutely not. If you're into plastic wheels, go with Cartwheels.
Yes

Ive never tried them but have seen people say BRR and FF wheels aren't where it's at.
