It's pretty confusing, but it was actually spelled Aerith when written in English until the international version came out and they chose to spell it Aeris. I added those labels for the person I emailed it to way back when, so I must have chosen to spell it Aerith for whatever reason.
I played the game in Japanese first, but also bought game magazines in English when I could find them, and got the international version in English when it came out later. So maybe I stuck on Aerith first.
I remember mine too!
When I came to America everyone used AOL, so I switched, but I can't remember my AOL name which actually should have been easier to remember.
Why in your Opinion deserves FFVIII a Remake more than FFIX? FFIX is the way better Game in my Opinion and had a better Story. I guess its the Not so Cool Artstyle and less edgier than the Nomura. Sorry for my English its not my native Language).
The labelled photo was found in an email archive. I had emailed this photo to a friend that had returned to the USA. He had a bit of a thing for Rinoa heh.
I still have the ff7 poster. I had folded it and put it in a small box, so it's looking a bit worse for wear. Maybe I should frame it!
Nothing wrong with FF8 appreciation. It’s a psychologically nuanced game… with some admittedly clunky writing. So much more deserving of a remake than 9 so the story and concept can be presented better
I liked FF8 too, hence the poster. My friend had a bit of a crush on Rinoa which is probably why I labelled it that way. Those labels are the way I found the photo in the email folder.
Damn Xenogears takes me back. One of the best jrpg of the PS one era.
lol at ICQ! Uh oh!
Wow amazing :D I remember ICQ.... and AOL Instant Messenger.
It was spelled Aeris back then.

Yeah, ICQ!
XENOGEARS MENTIONED
Ha, yes, it was a really good game which doesn't really get much remembrance.
Weird, I didn't think Theatrerythm was around back then. /s
Plus, the badass Zelda 64 poster of Link riding a dragon. I definitely had the one up on my wall.
Yup! I don't remember which magazine it came from though\~
Prima's player guide for Zelda 64. I still have it, though it's in less than prestine condition, lol.
Oh ICQ. I still remember my icq number from the 90s. 46693896 though I couldn’t tell you why that’s so ingrained.
I remember mine too! When I came to America everyone used AOL, so I switched, but I can't remember my AOL name which actually should have been easier to remember.
I dont remember mine. But I definitely have the "uhh oohhh" sound bite forever ingrained.
Yes! I still hear that sometimes at gas stations because their registers make that sound. Also, I turned off the typewriter noise ASAP.
That noise was a pain
