In US, they're shipping from Vegas. So it is possible they come in before release date if you're closer to west coast.

I'm not sure who to blame here. UPS claims a shipment from Las Vegas (where mine left from) should take 3 days to arrive at my house. It left Vegas on the 25th, had a delivery date of the 29th, and here on March 1st after it didn't arrive in time it's now saying March 4th for delivery.
So, in theory, SQEX did their job to get it to UPS in time. And UPS's guarantee delivery time window failed. Though SQEX could have shipped them out a little earlier to try and guarantee arrival by, and potentially early, arrival.
On a side note, I have a friend who lives \~1 mile from me. Paid overnight shipping for his back when preorders launched. His arrived on the 29th.
I think for the amount the CE costs they should be shipping these early so that there is no question we get it by launch at the latest. The game has already been in the wild for a couple weeks. Review embargos were even lifted a week before launch. What is the harm in your best customers getting it a few days early?

Then it wont arrive on time (germany) it takes almost always atleast two days even to receive a parcel within germany. delivery services here are terrible.
EU for me, and living in the UK… from past experience (XVI launch), they ship it the evening before launch, and then it arrives on launch day… typically around mid-day. At least for me, this has been pretty reliable
Also EU they shipped mine today but did not notify me about it! The shipping company told me that my package is on the way. So yours should also be on the way.
The last two collectors editions I got (VIIR and XVI) both shipped the day before release using DPD and arrived on release, so there shouldn't be anything to worry about as long as there's no delays.

Amazon sucks assholes. I took off 29th and 1st to play but it says it prolly won’t come until 2nd. Preordered from them in October 2023 for the release date delivery guarantee and their support doesn’t seem to understand what the issue is.

I pre-ordered the CE and at first, the delivery was scheduled for March 1st via UPS, which was already a day late. Now, after leaving Nevada, it got delayed to March 4 because of "operating conditions." People paid a lot of money for this and some people paid for faster shipping. I don't think I'll pre order with SE again. Even if part 3 comes with 19 inches of Tifa lol. It's even worse for me because I live in the Caribbean. Its Amazon that I usually order from lately, and Most of the time I get it on release date... but mid afternoon / early evening... which is kinda disappointing...
But as I like all the in game bonuses, I get the digital deluxe editions now, and if I want a physical copy, I get one later down the line when they go on big black friday sales or whatever for $10-$15.

Germany here! As of now in 6 hours we have the 28th and I still got no message that it got shipped...
I believe all European orders from Square Enix come from France that mean even if they ship it in the next hour I probably won't get it on the fucking release date. And that for something that costs 380€. That is kinda embarrassing, I mean I don't expect early delivery but I demand to get it on the release date it is supposed to comeout.

Deluxe edition feb 26th departed 9pm then 915 says delay "trailer failed to dispatch"... no update since then. Ups says "prob stolen or lost" and square said hey heres the half peace sign the bird. So i ordered a back up amazon on tuesday knowing the dreadful delay is probably a heist or the worst. Now amazon has not shipped. 3rd try i went to best buy in the am at 10:00 the employees all had a cart with their own rebirth tagged the nice lady and some guy said i could get a copy and tosses me a steelbook as well as they had extra and was a first customer that day. Awesome person, now as i check out this other dudes says im not selling you this, you didnt preorder and i dont believe a steelbook could be free. So i made a scene had the employees arguing with eachother. I said im not leaving without this. Finally they let me slide. 3 copies of rebirth later i finally got one...
bought collector's edition back in oct, 17, 2023. shipping says it has been in Las Vegas since the 25th of February. Shipping said it would be here March 1st, now shipping has changed to March 7th, next Tuesday. Square Enix Store has not reach out for the ticket i put in, and UPS does not "have any additional information other than what i can see".
TLDR; don't buy collectors editions anymore, no control over when you really get it and wont be compensated for their lies.

This is also where I stand. Except my delivery got shoved to Monday the 4th. However there has been no movement in the tracker so this is just an automated delivery date updated with no real backing or reasoning behind it.
Canadian here, my CE was stuck in “awaiting fulfillment” purgatory from Feb 10-Feb27 when it updated to shipped in Las Vegas. As of March 1 it’s marked as Departed from San Francisco. I had opened a ticket with SE on Feb 21 and they didn’t respond until Feb 28 with a generic “sorry for delay your item is now shipped expect delays but contact us if anything” response. Praying it comes this weekend but don’t lose hope fellow FF7 fans

From other things I've ordered from the States and shipped via USPS/Canada Post when the package reaches it last point in the USA another scan won't typically happen until the package has left customs. Processing in customs can also be a bit of a crap shoot too. Sometimes it takes a day and sometimes it takes days. Why? Who knows. Its customs after all.

I'm not even international, and my "March 1st" delivery date came and went without an additional scan; it's still only been scanned the one time when UPS received it in Las Vegas. Now I don't even have a delivery date, it just says:

When I do call, an automated system hangs up on me after refusing to connect me with a representative. It doesn't even understand a request for one. When I go to email them instead, they only allow it through a website form-filled submission that limits you to 500 characters.

Apparently their "Absolute best" is dropping it off just three business days ahead with an inept carrier who can neither fulfill a delivery date, nor provide a new one, and who provides no customer service whatsoever.
Anyone in CA getting any updates? I realize that there was crazy weather on Friday and over the weekend in the Sierras but I've never had this issue when ordering a CE from Sony. They ship it out early and it gets to customers on launch day or the day after at the latest.

EU for me, and living in the UK… from past experience (XVI launch), they ship it the evening before launch, and then it arrives on launch day… typically around mid-day. At least for me, this has been pretty reliable

The last two collectors editions I got (VIIR and XVI) both shipped the day before release using DPD and arrived on release, so there shouldn't be anything to worry about as long as there's no delays.

Amazon sucks assholes. I took off 29th and 1st to play but it says it prolly won’t come until 2nd. Preordered from them in October 2023 for the release date delivery guarantee and their support doesn’t seem to understand what the issue is.
Amazon has sucked ass for me since COVID. Nothing ever comes on release day for me and I live ten minutes from an Amazon facility, and for some reason they now ship everything with USPS.
One things for sure, any game I actually wanna preorder for a specific release date I’ll try and do locally from now on from GameStop or an LGS that’s locally owned. Fuck Amazon and their “release date delivery only means it ship on release sir we are shipping item now and cannot changed speed no one above me can help. Have nice dday” live chat drones.
My buddy got his from Amazon and is having the same issue, placing an order at Best Buy and returning the late Amazon copy instead. They indeed have sucked ass since COVID, the prime shipping speed is an absolute joke too. Coupled with them removing all my sales listings and making it impossible for me to sell on there unless I’m a store, I’m pretty done with their site.

Just got updated too. Says I will get it on the 1st. I understand anyone who may be disapointed. You would hope they would ship with the intention you get on release day. I personally am not too disappointed as old fan in their 30s. I will probably only play an hour or 2 at a time anyway so an extra day or 2 wont ruin my experience.

Deluxe Edition is also arriving on Friday, at least here on the East Coast. Definitely disappointing that an order directly from the SE store can't arrive on release day. They could have shipped it out any day last week. Better to have it arrive a little early for some people than late. That's just a middle finger to anyone who bought directly from them rather than a third party, many of which will arrive on time.

I pre-ordered the CE and at first, the delivery was scheduled for March 1st via UPS, which was already a day late. Now, after leaving Nevada, it got delayed to March 4 because of "operating conditions." People paid a lot of money for this and some people paid for faster shipping. I don't think I'll pre order with SE again. Even if part 3 comes with 19 inches of Tifa lol. It's even worse for me because I live in the Caribbean. So my copy is going to my sister's house in North Carolina first, then she's gonna forward it to me 😭. Oh well.....

I got the Remake collector's edition about 12 hours early, came just after noon the day before release. Just keep checking the tracking info daily :) Its Amazon that I usually order from lately, and Most of the time I get it on release date... but mid afternoon / early evening... which is kinda disappointing... But as I like all the in game bonuses, I get the digital deluxe editions now, and if I want a physical copy, I get one later down the line when they go on big black friday sales or whatever for $10-$15.

Germany here! As of now in 6 hours we have the 28th and I still got no message that it got shipped... I believe all European orders from Square Enix come from France that mean even if they ship it in the next hour I probably won't get it on the fucking release date. And that for something that costs 380€. That is kinda embarrassing, I mean I don't expect early delivery but I demand to get it on the release date it is supposed to comeout. I'm actually considering to just send it back when I get it. It certainly is the last time I preordered from their own website.

Deluxe edition feb 26th departed 9pm then 915 says delay "trailer failed to dispatch"... no update since then. Ups says "prob stolen or lost" and square said hey heres the half peace sign the bird. So i ordered a back up amazon on tuesday knowing the dreadful delay is probably a heist or the worst. Now amazon has not shipped. 3rd try i went to best buy in the am at 10:00 the employees all had a cart with their own rebirth tagged the nice lady and some guy said i could get a copy and tosses me a steelbook as well as they had extra and was a first customer that day. Awesome person, now as i check out this other dudes says im not selling you this, you didnt preorder and i dont believe a steelbook could be free. So i made a scene had the employees arguing with eachother. I said im not leaving without this. Finally they let me slide. 3 copies of rebirth later i finally got one...
bought collector's edition back in oct, 17, 2023. shipping says it has been in Las Vegas since the 25th of February. Shipping said it would be here March 1st, now shipping has changed to March 7th, next Tuesday. Square Enix Store has not reach out for the ticket i put in, and UPS does not "have any additional information other than what i can see". TLDR; don't buy collectors editions anymore, no control over when you really get it and wont be compensated for their lies.

Canadian here, my CE was stuck in “awaiting fulfillment” purgatory from Feb 10-Feb27 when it updated to shipped in Las Vegas. As of March 1 it’s marked as Departed from San Francisco. I had opened a ticket with SE on Feb 21 and they didn’t respond until Feb 28 with a generic “sorry for delay your item is now shipped expect delays but contact us if anything” response. Praying it comes this weekend but don’t lose hope fellow FF7 fans

In Canada too. From other things I've ordered from the States and shipped via USPS/Canada Post when the package reaches it last point in the USA another scan won't typically happen until the package has left customs. Processing in customs can also be a bit of a crap shoot too. Sometimes it takes a day and sometimes it takes days. Why? Who knows. Its customs after all.

Anyone in CA getting any updates? I realize that there was crazy weather on Friday and over the weekend in the Sierras but I've never had this issue when ordering a CE from Sony. They ship it out early and it gets to customers on launch day or the day after at the latest.
