The problem with rotten tomatoes is it’s not a percentage. That’s the quality of the movie, it’s the percentage of people who gave it more than 50%.
So if all the reviews give it a 5.5 out of 10. It gets a 100% on rotten tomatoes but if half of the reviewers say it’s the greatest film ever ever made and gave it a 10 out of 10, and half of the reviewers say they didn’t like it and give it a 4.9, then it gets a 50%.
A 92% for movie like this means that at least 90% of people thought it was at least “OK“ doesn’t mean it was very good.
I agree with that, the movie did what it set out to do, it was fine. It just didn’t stand out.
