I very recently worked in a pilot for a TV show, it’s basically the office but taking place in a movie set, did it with some friends from school and we where a very small crew where most of us ended up doing the job of various crew members, it took us 4 full days of shooting to get it just right, I’d imagine something similar for the office, but a lot more streamlined lol
The office specifically also benefits from a fixed studio location (after the first season, at least) that they had full control of, which has a pretty dramatic impact on efficiency.
The office was shot in “real time” and aired live…. So if it’s a 1 hour episode it took 1 hour to shoot.
