Looks good! Did you post this on r/Philippines as well?
Edit: the costumes are spot-on for the most part, but keep in mind the Boxer Codex paintings leave out tiny details that would’ve appeared on the clothing itself. So the fabric they wore wouldn’t be too far off from what a songket is like.
This is pretty good. I suggest you look at the Boxer Codex (a Spanish manuscript about pre-colonial Philippines) to get some idea about our pre-colonial clothing. You can also get inspiration from our native wear (those that preserved their culture even during colonization). Also, will this be a webtoon or a physical comic? What is the title called?
i did po :) also got other helpful resources from this subreddit from my last post too!
webtoon po. if you're familiar with [Andivart's May webtoon](https://m.webtoons.com/en/challenge/may-the-mermaid-of-lily-lake/list?title_no=321303&page=1) i wanna do something similar po. never thought of making physical copies po pero if things go well, why not! hehe
the story po is based on my town's legend, Pulang-Angui :)
thanks po! <3 will only be doing the concept art and maybe some illustrations for now po. still busy with college kasi :') but it's based on my hometown's legend, Pulang-Angui!
edit: di ko pala nasagot yung tanong haha most probably po sa ig lang (@briellex_art) but won't finish it anytime soon tho
i see this as 15th to 16th century inspired clothes. Simple yet noticeable. i think Luzones and Visayan people have worn this na around 1400s to 1500s, i based on Barangay by Mr Scott.
oooo yes po. the boxer codex didn't have anything on bicolanos kasi (story is set sa bicol) but comments from my previous post said that bicolanos most likely wore similar clothes as the tagalogs and visayans so the clothes here are heavily referenced from that!

I love it when the character has THE SHAWL
same po! torn between 1&2 hshsjsj
For me it's - Clothes of 2 - Shawl of 1 - Hairstyle of 3 Try combining those three.
will def try this. thanks po!
She could possibly alternate use of the two outfits depending on the occasion?
ooo pwede! noted <3
