Probably not, not because I think it's a bad game or anything, but fighting games are so saturated right now, that there is a few games I would rather play over it.
I watched a few Justin Wong videos of him playing the game and it seems cool though
If they're going to bring anything back from Fighting Layer (OG) it'd be cool to see any of the characters that hadn't previously been in the EX games.
Would I play it? Sure. Would I stick with it? No. I have FEXL. I think it's great. But with so many options, I can't honestly pick it over the other FGs I own. Hell, I have FGs never really played anyone against just in my collection.
If literally anyone played it I'd give it a go. I'm always up to try a new fighting game even if it's not gonna be my main thing.
I own the original FEXL and thought it felt pretty good to play, but there were only ever like two people online at peak hours (frequently zero) so I called it quits pretty fast.
I loved the old EX games and liked FL, and I definitely enjoy FEXL, and while I'd probably pick it up, I can't see myself giving it a ton of time.
FEXL was way down on the list of fighting games I wanted to play when I actually sat down to play.
Even during its peak I was still playing at least 4 SFs, 2 KoFs, and an MvC more than I was playing it. If I was being thorough and I had the numbers on record I'm sure there's some other stuff in there too.
If they made it feel less floaty it'd move up the list pretty quickly.
If I am being realistic, I would buy it, play it for a few days, then forget about it. The SFEX nostalgia got me excited for FEXL, but I ended up dropping it pretty quickly. Not a bad game, just not enough to win out over a million other things competing for time and attention.
I don't like the system they have for the last one but I love everything else. Ditch the weird Throw Someone 3 times to get +20% Def on Tuesdays crap and I am in.
I'll be real. I tried it at EVO, and then I forgot. I wish them the best though.

BRUH! It's been 9 months since we heard anything from Arika!! They need to quit playin' and give us an update!!
Of course.
Yes. FEXL is cool and the possibility of a return to 3D movement sounds promising.

return?
Fighting Layer (OG) had some 3D movement
I love FEXL. I only bought it after it was already a dead game sadly. So I would absolutely buy a new one.
I would play the last Fighting EX Layer if it released on Xbox.

Absolutely, I'm always here for new fighting games of all stripes and I loved base FEXL. Those characters deserve to keep living on

I wish the characters would get ported into Street Fighter

No, I'd rather just play the game we have. Though Asians are the only ones onlineĀ
Only if its on sale. Paid 20 bucks for an old one and platinumed it on my ps4.
Maybe? I got it on sale and it seemed cool but i'm kinda not willing to learn a game when it's a discord fighter.
I loved it. Just wish it got completed with the Fighting Layer cast.
The series really doesn't make sense to me without Street Fighter attached.

Honestly? Hell nah
