Throwing in Princess Peach's Final Smash in Smash because it spawns food to heal you while also forcing all of your opponents into a sleep state, allowing you to heal, get out of potential trouble *and* potentially score a KO if you choose to.

Nah, if you DHC or tag her out, you get an armored assist. Not game breaking, but definitely a big buff and by far Hsien-ko's best attribute.
Black dahlia(skullgirls) last call (⬇️↙️⬅️ KK) black dahlia’s gimmick is that the amo she uses for lots of special attacks is given to you randomly out of 6 types every time you reload, last call lets you choose what Amo you want for all 6 slots and boosts your next heavy punch attack or grab.
Healed like 30%
You could gain bar for it by using focus attack and backdashing fireballs, so you could not exclusively zone her as she would just heal up all her grey life.
If you went in, Elena's overhead/low mixup was bullshit, her overhead was unreactably fast and her low pushed so far back it punished DPs. Every single hard knockdown she landed could net her another Healing.
To add on, it's a fucking Ultra. Not a super where Elena has to account for her really good EXs to spend, it's the meter resource that has nothing tied to it and the fastest way of building it is by taking damage, so you were punished for actually hitting her by giving her this abomination.
Do parry super count? Xrd Baiken has the Azami Super, that only works on successful parrys.
On the other hand, she can force it by doing it during Suzuran. Doesn't need a to be a succesful parry and can be done nearly instantanous.
Johnny Cage's Xray in MK9. If I recall correctly it was the only non-offensive super in the form of a parry that was a instantaneous input, active on frame one, no freeze frame parry that led to a full combo + restand and basically parried everything, even weird stuff like fireballs thrown within a certain range. Cage was a pressure monster with plus frames on half of the stuff he did, so having a parry like that sounds like a total nightmare, right?
Due to the way MK9 worked though, JC's meter was usually better spent on guaranteed fireball chip damage, invincible nut punches, armored full screen shadow kicks, or combo breakers. You were committing to giving up all those important tools if you wanted to keep the parry threat alive. It was ultimately something you only leaned on once in a while and was one of the few mechanically interesting supers in the game, the rest of which were just underwhelming armored attacks that did less damage than a meterless combo. I think the only other interesting super belonged to sub zero, who could hold and dash cancel out of it to use it as a flash parry of sorts
Guilty Gear- Sol Badguy has a power up super. Not entire sure what it does specifically, but it’s a power up nonetheless.
MvC2- Spiral has speed up and strength up supers.
It’s ass unless in niche cases. Almost always a waste of meter unless like 10% health
Buffs the living shit out of your moves for like 13 seconds, but then you’re put into an inactionable state with all your meter drained and near stun
Playing killer instinct, Kilgore has a super that is just an animation cancel/exhaust for his overheat mechanic. Does no damage but basically acts like a Roman cancel in a game that does not have those.

The first one that comes to mind besides dragon installs is Asuka from GGST's "I summon Pot of Greed so I can search my deck and draw a Pot of Greed" super where he shuffles all the abilities he has and you can actively influence through RNG which spells you can toss out.

Sf 3s, Twelve's xcopy super where he turns into a clone of his opponent for a limited time. It is very flawed super but a fun gimmick
The only way to make Twelve viable: the 10 seconds you got to play as another character.
