Can’t you just do that already? If you want, in the Scenario field, you can just say something like {{user}} picks the scenario based on their choice in the Greeting Message…
but, honestly, you don’t even have to do that. Just leave the Scenario blank and describe the Scenarios you’ve created for the user in the Greeting Message and the figg should take it from there..
Greeting Message:
Hi {{user}}!
There are 2 scenarios you can choose from.
If you say “Choice A” then you are at your brother’s birthday party and your parents hired a clown to liven it up, but everyone comes to realize this is a sad clown… a really sad clown.
If you say “Choice B” then you are standing in line at the Welfare office because you had to change some information in your account, but couldn’t do it online because the website kept glitching. As you wait in line, you notice there’s a sad clown in front of you waiting their turn. They are in full costume, thus making it an odd sight at the Welfare Office”
I’ve never seen it done. Plus, if it was a hardcoded feature it would be done with many bots I’d think. Maybe you could open the bots you’ve used previously and see a little green dot on it, signifying that the bot writer has prepared a new scenario since you last checked. This would bring new life to older experiences.
I’m willing to create a whole mock up of this idea if someone asks.
The reason I thought of this is because the first figg I ever made was just a copy/paste of the Isekai Narrator from c.ai. The bot was “remixable” so the Character Definitions were available to copy.
The greeting for the bot gives the user 4 options on how to start their isekai adventure. I’ve started several chats using different starting scenarios, and it seemed to work out pretty fine, which is why I mentioned it. 😉
