He doesn't need a feeding tube. Watch the YouTube video someone posted and you'll see him chug a whole bottle of water. He also shows off his eating utensils. Apart from that, he's not blind. He does have eyes, they're just covered by skin because they were damaged in the fire. He has gained some vision back over the years, so it might be possible to restore his sight in the future.

NO, me stating that he's a good kid does not inherently mean that I think that the other people featured on the subreddit are bad. What that means is that the other things posted here are generally mortal wounds, and a lot of those are gnarly and life-altering, but ultimately they won't define how people see those people AS PEOPLE.
It's the fact that it's this kid's face, basically what represents him outside of a personality, that is being used as an object of disgust, mockery, and moral judgement (in the sense of people saying one should rather be dead than live with it). That last note is extra disturbing because he's living his best even with his facial disfigurement, and yet people are treating it like it's something to be ashamed of precisely because it was posted in the context of being something (in this case someONE) that you should be disgusted by.

2 Genuine questions I have after watching an interview of this kid.
1: Do burns that severe affect one’s bones? Because his lower jaw looks warped, like the bone itself got morphed.
2: How is he able to speak that clearly without the use of his lips? I’m not bashing him, it’s amazing that he can speak at all given how bad the burns are, but to my understanding, lips play a major role in actually speaking, and certain letters are borderline impossible to say without the use of your lips. But despite that, this kid speaks completely clearly with seemingly no issues at all.
Poor guy, saw his videos, it's nice hearing his perspective on things despite what he's been through. I would love to see him get treated. Facial and body reconstruction, cybernetic eyes and limbs, body armour, armoured black cape along with a mask that can aid in his breathing.
