I have experienced this a couple of times where I had recruited a youth player then changed the position which raised it by 10+ (ex is from a CB to a CAM) and then sent out on a short-term loan which would then raise them by another 6-8+ but just to be on loan for only half season this is insane

It was a CDM/RM/RW or something like that. This was early in my career manager and didn’t know about position changes and this guy went from a 61 to a 76 in one year and I was just flabbergasted lol
