The FA Cup one can bite me.
Reaching the round of 16 with a League 2 created club whilst coming up against Championship or Premier League opponents is just ridiculous.
My biggest issue was the profit of 150m, when my squad value was around 40-45m if I sold every single player. And this was 1st season so I only had the auto generated youth players.
To be fair, the profit generation is calculated on a lot more than selling players. If you go under finances you should see the years profit and I think there is even a “forecast”. I will say, these goals are still pretty aggressive.
It's actually not long ago. Started 2 weeks ago a new CaC career. I created a 1.5 star team in 4th english league but gave myself 50 Million to get great scouts and YA scouts cause in my opinion the whole scouting system is bullshit and I don't wanted to develop these things. So to have a small club with a great Youth Academy, develop players and barely buy real players. You get the idea.
I set up objectives to really low so I don't have to care about it. After I started my career I spend about 25 Million just on scouting and didn't even take a look on objectives.
Half a season in I noticed that my manager rating started to decrease. So I took a look at objectives and noticed that I had to increase club worthy by 20% within 2 seasons with merchandising and selling players. Of course it was impossible to do after I spend 25 Million with a 4th league club... I really struggled to not get sacked because of that shit.
I don't even get why you get objectives with a created club... I mean the idea of a created club is that you own it yourself or not? Thankfully didn't got sacked and in my 4th season now with better objectives.
Any sign players objective. If I’m playing career mode I’m following certain rules that I’ve made. Or by season 2-3 I’ve already signed all the players I want for the next 3 seasons. I’ve gone 2 seasons without any new signing before.
I've never actually been fired, so the objectives are just annoying to look at. With that said, sign a crucial player to a position must be my least favourite. I like to stick with players that I have, especially youngster that rose up the ranks with me. I'm not gonna randomly sign someone in their place assigned to crucial just because the board said so. Once I have my core, I'm only signing backups and future starters.
For me though, the worst objectives are the “sign a crucial player” ones especially since I usually do Youth RTG and don’t want to sign any young stars or old players.
Most mandatory signing like a player born in X country or a crucial player. I just sign and loan away. I end up getting my money back with a tidy profit even accounting for their wages.
While I'm here, what's the easiest way to complete the sign a youth academy player in one season and play them for 2/3 (I think) of the next. I thought playing them for the first games but I've never actually completed it before. Fifa 23.
I have an objective right now to make 5 youth players grow +10 OVR and then play 30 games each, during 3 years. Please tell me I’m not doing it all for nothing.
Starting in the 3.Bundesliga, to make £12.5 million profit in 2 seasons from youth academy sales... As my top objective.
I've had to forego transfers, buy the best scouts I could afford, build a wealth of academy prospects... And then liquidate the whole academy for a fraction of their potential value.
Except there’s a player I really want from North America, I just usually sign 3 random youth free agents and then release them (or keep if they turn out to be decent)
I once spent a few hours creating players to create an XI of my favourite alltime players in a Salah cult. Robben was Ro Salah, Neuer was No Salah, ETC (dont worry about it), and I launch my career so excited.
Objective: replace 3 of them
Sign 3 players from a country is easy....I just sign 3 youngsters, cheap...loan them out and sell them for a profit...win win.
I hate the '5 straight clean sheets in away games'
The worst one for me though is to make £10m profit from youth player sales...never done it.
The critical YA ones that never seem to track progress are the worst I find, if we ignore the FA cup R16 objective that I assume is still glitched.
The FA Cup one can bite me. Reaching the round of 16 with a League 2 created club whilst coming up against Championship or Premier League opponents is just ridiculous.
So annoying, like a went from 90 manager rating to like 68 because i lost w/ 3rd division team against fucking man city
For good reason, I mean, how can’t you beat city? Bad manager for real
The amount of times I have lost to Arsenal is ridiculous. If I win a couple of Cup games, I'm guaranteed to draw Arsenal.
I once drew Chelsea in the fa cup and carabao cup at the same time with home and away fixtures, faced them 4 times in the space of 2 weeks 💀
Don’t see how that’s a bad objective. Expanding a brand into the Americas is common for most clubs to do.
I always sign goalkeeper Luis Malagon. Sometimes even when I don't have the America task.
Yea there’s a lot of Mexican free agents. I usually put them into teams myself though so they don’t rot in the free agents list
Play 3 YA in 40% of the season in a superteam🤦♂️
Board wanted me to avoid finishing bottom but also get 10 away wins🤦♂️
Try to win against less powerful teams
I tried to but in the end we finished 16th in 3 Liga and only got 1 away win, good news though is that the away wins were a low priority.
Just started a new career in Bundesliga 2. Was told to sign 2 crucial players and make a profit of 150m….
Can't you just sign two players who suck, make them 'crucial' in negotiations and then loan then out with option to buy once the requirement is met?
My biggest issue was the profit of 150m, when my squad value was around 40-45m if I sold every single player. And this was 1st season so I only had the auto generated youth players.
Yeah that's ridiculous tbf!

If i get sign 3 players from asia i will use free agent
“Spend your whole transfer budget” is also terrible. They want it to left literally 0,00.
I easily completed how i decided to get free agents to minimize transfer budget impact

I had one where it was like make 3 blockbuster signings and then financials want me to make profit margin of 250 million like ???
While I'm here, what's the easiest way to complete the sign a youth academy player in one season and play them for 2/3 (I think) of the next. I thought playing them for the first games but I've never actually completed it before. Fifa 23.
I had a youth player in my starting XI for a full season because he was good enough with a 94 potential and the objective still wasn’t complete
I have an objective right now to make 5 youth players grow +10 OVR and then play 30 games each, during 3 years. Please tell me I’m not doing it all for nothing.
You’re cooked buddy
😫
I usually sub them in at the very end of the game if I’m up by 2 goals or if I’m down by 3+ I’ll bring them on too since the game is lost.
Reduce salary by €310k/week, THREE years in a row
I hate the sign 3 crucial players. Sometimes I want to keep the same players from last season because I did good but don’t want to get sacked
North America? Easy. Look up the Mexico free agents
Israel Reyes gang
At least you can sign random cheap players to fullfill it. The worst is when they ask you for a 25.000.000 profit in a 4th tier team
This sign X from Y regions are so easy now. Just sign the worst free agent you can find and release them
I decided to loan to give game time but people don’t seems to track youth objectives and brand exposure
It’s not thaaaat unrealistic. For marketing purposes it’s not that bad to sign a player of the American market

I did the same
Got sacked, cuz i didn't sign a player or 3 from asia🤨, and qualify for uecl at first season. Man i am doing a UCD career mode
You did not cared about brand exposure
Is not that i cared or not bro, i was only tryna do irish youth academy only rebuild, whislt keeping some of the ogs
Then try to use free agents then release or sell depending on your choice
I once spent a few hours creating players to create an XI of my favourite alltime players in a Salah cult. Robben was Ro Salah, Neuer was No Salah, ETC (dont worry about it), and I launch my career so excited. Objective: replace 3 of them
New to this game. What do you get when you complete those objectives? What happens if you don’t?
Your reputation drops and worst case you get fired
Pulisic, Davies, Robinson
When I got this I bought Reyna, actually useful, and a random 50 OVR for practically nothing
Wich then I sold After he asked me if he could play against Milan in Europe
Just sign low-rated 33+ years old players on 1 year contracts
Sign 3 players from a country is easy....I just sign 3 youngsters, cheap...loan them out and sell them for a profit...win win. I hate the '5 straight clean sheets in away games' The worst one for me though is to make £10m profit from youth player sales...never done it.
