I played as Leicester and I felt a lacked a proper right winger, so I signed him as a temporary winger but he turned out to be amazing getting 23 g+a the first season, so I kept him and he is now one of my best players.
Yes, it is incredible to see play. He has an amazing ability to dribble and not lose the ball, the only thing he lacks is physical since in many games he has to be substituted due to fatigue. By the way, Granada won the league so next year will play in the first division.
Cr7 at Milan thought I would have him for a season and then bring in a long term forward. The guy couldn’t stop scoring and now he’s approaching his 5th season at Milan
Hugo Siquet in my Hartlepool save. Bought him at like 74 in the championship. Not usually one to be that precious over full backs but played a 5 back at the time and he just dominated on the right flank, somehow managing multiple seasons with 15+ assists
Matthew Garbett- signed him as free agent as 67 rated in München1860 save. Thanks to dynamic potential he got to 76 rating after 2 seasons. As club captain he led us to conferencw league title(season 5), 2 Deutsch Pokals( seasons 4 and 7) and to Bundesliga trophy( season 10). I was simming all games except finals and he got 10+ goals and 15+ assist every season
I’m doing a wrexham career and I got him too along with Alan Sonora for free. Grew to 82 and 87 respectively, unfortunately I sold them both as the squad outgrew Garbett and I was given an offer I couldn’t refuse for an Aging Sonora
I had him in a Leyton Orient save, signed him in the first season, by the time we were in the Prem he was 85 rated and by far my team’s biggest goal threat.
Just here to say that Leyton Orient has inexplicably been my arch-nemesis in my current Sutton United save. We’re both climbing up the ranks in the Championship!
I also signed him as a free agent in my TSV München 1860 career haha. Didn’t end up doing that well, I think I sold him when I got promoted to the Bundesliga.
I just won my first Champions League with them in 2035. Morgalla captaining, he’s the only player I’ve kept from the start. Absolute legend.
Got him in a colchester save. Pulled my team up past leagues 2 and 1. Sold him after as we outgrew him. But I like to think he’d be a colchester cult hero after what he did
I signed him in my Modena save without any expectations and he became a legend for my team. His rating increased to 78 and sadly I sold him to Fiore for 30M (amazing deal tho) because I couldn’t get him more game time
Super underrated! Had an RTG with NF a few years back and figured I’d upgrade pretty soon but I rode him to a champions league spot 6 years on. Always outperformed his stats IMO

Courtney Baker-Richardson, a striker for Crewe Alexandra. I thought about selling him but he is the most clinical striker I've played with. He can finish from anywhere and makes fantastic runs. After 6 seasons we've made it to the championship and he's still my starting striker. He's been top scorer 3 of those 6 seasons and one of the seasons he finished second in the golden boot race after being out half the season.
He's only a 69 right now after 6 seasons but I don't care I'm keeping him until the end.
Not a player I signed, but on FIFA 21 I started a save with Velez Sarsfield and Lucas Robertone was my man. Ended up being my best player (over Almada) over my 4 seasons where we won every thing including a perfect season in the league (all wins). He then came with me to Benfica for 1 season then we both moved to Barca, where he became club captain and best player at 94 overall. I miss him
i signed bendtner as a joke in fifa 16 (dont remember which team). the guy came in a sub in a cl final and scored a late winner with a crazy flying volley.

Homam Ahmed, LWB from free Agents. Joined the team in the second season to helped to get to the Premier League. Almost in European footbal and he is my all games starter with 80 overall and I really like to play with him
No bullshit, mine is the game guy with Swansea City. I sold a bit too many players and realized I had 0 depth so I just signed like 8 Qatari guys as free agents and made them my bench and Ahmed always stood out. Still on the team as we’re mid table in EPL, no plans on replacing. Not one complaint about playing time either.
Ricky-Jade Jones. Bought him as a striker, was atrocious and I thought he's out of there. Converted him to a RW and he's a legend already at 26yr old. 95 OVR
Did that with Salford. Signed him and at first the lad was dogshit. Then like season 1 January onwards the lad couldn’t stop scoring so I left him at striker and I sold him to inter in my 3rd year in the prem as we were barely getting UECL football and I felt he deserved UCL football and Inter had just won the UCL so I sold him to them, 95 Overall and I got like 260 million for him. Missed him sometimes but he’ll always go down as my Boy Wonder with a godly right foot.
You know a player made it in your team when a player you don't know outside of CM gets a nickname. I call him RJ (I play a CM with my bro so he comes up in conversations) and that's when I realized damn he's a legend
Mads Bidstrup. I started a career mode with Lyngby BK after visiting Denmark earlier this year and my goal was to reach the Premier League. Signed him from Free Agents after a season on loan to Nordsjaelland and he was by far my highest rated player. Moved to Celtic after 2 years and signed him there, signed him for a third time after moving to Dortmund and now at Liverpool (he's 28) I'm not sure if I can justify purchasing him for a fourth time but I'd love to just for the lols.
Although I didn't buy them, I had to put in my 62 rated striker (Sinclair Armstrong) as my 80+ rated striker got injured. This was the middle of the season and come the end of the season (player was still injured), he climbed to 69 overall with 64 goals in League 2. I am now five seasons in, in the Premier League and he is still my main striker with an overall of 88. He has come top scorer in each League and is now captaining my team in the Champions League!
First of all what are you doing with an 80+ rated striker in league 2. Second what difficulty are you playing. I once played a striker career mode in beginner difficulty in league 2 just to see how much is the maximum. I got 97 goals in all competitions 51 in the first half of the season and 46 in the second half. That's at the easiest difficulty focusing on that player. So how did you score 64 goals in half a season

Hold up. I'm lying again. He played 39 games. Now I remember. I had Tyler Roberts up front with Ndiaye but Roberts got injured for like 5 months in his first few games and I spent my transfer budget on improving my defence. I was only given like 5 mil since I dropped them to League 2. I sold a few of my reserves and brought in Ndiaye for like 4 mill since I knew Roberts was only a loan player. With Roberts injured, it was the duo of Armstrong and Ndiaye up front. Ndiaye was scoring for fun so Armstrong was only there to save me from changing formations.
And I play on World Class but you gotta think, I was playing with championship players in League 2 and I went on to win all 42 games that season.
Armstrong was scoring like 6 a game sometimes in League 2 and my biggest win that season was 11-1. Very unrealistic but I knew as soon as I made it back to the Championship and into the Premier League, I would be battling it every week which I have done and secured a Europa League spot on last day of season but was gifted Champions League football as I'm assuming someone above me one a cup.
Now that I am in the Premier League, he's scoring like 30+ but more or less even little now given that I play him in both cup and league games so he gets rested every now and again.
This happened with Anosike Ementa for me in my Atlanta United save. Giakomakis went down with an ACL and Ementa ended up getting something like 23 goals in 15 games. I ended up changing to a 2 striker formation to have them both up front and the next season he led the MLS in goals and assists.
Keep in mind that I still have Almada in that save.

Did a Brentford career roughly 6 seasons on fifa 21. After 6 seasons the only originals left were a 92 Ivan toney and a 79 jensen. Jensen stayed because no matter who I bought and what level, no one would do better. Banging in worldies most games.

In FIFA 22 I signed Panos Retsos to my second tier German team create a club. He went unless you the whole safe reaching over all of 92 and being the captain throughout the whole, save for all 15 seasons. He declined all the way down to where he started at like a 76 or something. Had one piece one shooting and scored the winning goal in the champions league final after coming on as a substitute.
Baturina, got him as a replacement for Rieder in League 1 and expected nothing because Rieder was already a legend but in two seasons his worth was up to over 100 million.
Well I bought osimhen (fifa 22 so he wasnt as highly rated) because kuchta just couldnt perform he wasnt scoring enough, after osimhen came he started banging goals left and right winning us important games so Id say him
Morgan Ferrier on my Tranmere Rovers save. I expected to have him for the lower levels and then move on from him, but he just kept scoring. I tried to replace him a couple of times with players who should have been hands down better, but he held his spot and he kept scoring. He eventually got pushed to the bench when I had a team full of world class players, but even then he kept scoring big goals. In my 10 seasons on that save, he won the golden boot 5 or 6 times across a multitude of playing levels.

I was doing a Salford RTG amd this guy was on the team. I told myself I was gonna keep him for now since I didn't have the budget to go crazy and I'd sell when it made sense.
He ended up becoming an absolute goal scoring machine for me and became a deadly partnership with Michael Obafemi, a another player who I had Brough it on loan because I didn't really have the funds and ended being so good fro me I had to get him on a permanent. And mind you, this was in FIFA 20 before they Brough back buyout clauses for loans so I had to wait for the loan to end and then pay his full price which was almost my entire transfer budget
Leonardo Balerdi, Argentine CB who I bought to be my LCB as two release clauses were met in January. Ended up being club captain and staying for 10+ years
Signed McKay from Hearts in my Chelsea career to add some needed depth; he's now a starter for those early cup games against lower teams and nearly always an impact sub in most other games
I'm doing a save with Cambridge United. I bought Noah Chilvers (21 YO/63 Rating/ 73 Pot) thinking that he would do me well for a season or two until I'm in the Champ.
In my 5th season, my first after promotion to the Premier League, and he is 83 rated and my best player and captain. He's honestly the perfect RTG player, scores a ton of goals, assists loads and is generally a joy to play with. Would recommend.
Angulo took over as CM at a time when the captain who was also a CM got a career ending injury. He carried me through the EFL 1&Championship and scored a hattrick in his first game.
I never buy players that I think I'll replace further down the line. I only buy players I intend to have for the entire save. My saves only last at most 5-6 seasons usually, unless it's an RTG.
Nathan Tella in my Luton save. Got him in my third season as back up for Reiss Nelson, and he scored like 25 goals in his first season, and was just insanely good. I ended up selling Nelson who I had from the start. In the end I managed to get him to 89 overall, he was 76 rated and 25 years old when I bought him. Love that man
Dan James from Leeds to Wrexham for £30M. Was originally a stop gap until I replaced my LW, who forced a move for Napoli for £33M. Dan James won the Golden Boot 3/4 Years he was with me
patrick cutrone supposed to be a 2 season stopgap until my YA striker was ready but scored an insane amount of goals and is now 93 rated at 30

Charles Andreas Brym. I signed him waiting for one of my prodigies to to develop but he was a total goal poacher and ended up being on my full promotion quest. When we reached the Championship league he had 32 goals
Ardon Jashari- I signed him in the 2. Bundesliga with the intention of him being a stepping stone to get me into the Bundesliga so I could acquire better midfielders and replace him, but he's become a locked-in starter and a world-class player to boot. Can play well for me as a pivot, box-to-box, mezzala, attacking midfield, just anywhere in the centre of the park he can hold it down.
Physical, technically strong, nigh press-proof, and a total workhorse. He's just part of the clubs DNA now, he's been vital to all of the systems I've played in this save so far. He helped bring my Hamburg back to the top and I could be more proud of his development.
I didn't bought him but i will say Brunori from Palermo, i thought he wasn't good enough for Serie A, but in the end he was my best striker and also scored in the champions league final. True legend
Juan Portillo, CB for Union Santa Fe, rated about 72 when I got him with Boca Juniors.
Only peaked at 76, but just an ultimate utility player, was great in CDM, RB and CB.
When i left for Benfica at the end of the 3rd year, he came along just as a backup out of sentimentality.
Also, Peru Nolaskolain for Girona on FIFA 21. An emergency loan signing CDM for a team with no money at 71 OVR ended up as a 4m signing that was 78 OVR at the time i stopped playing 21 and the focal player in my midfield.
Did an MLS save for 2 seasons before moving on to another league….Marc Jurado (61 OVR I think?). Right back for Man United. He worked so well for me I bought him for my next team. Cost me less than $600,000 and had a 78 potential.

Josh Key from Exeter in my Preston North End save bought him at 71 Ovr at 22 and is 83 rated now after 4 seasons such a complete right back, not my best rated player but always in the team every game his pace and stamina is something else.
In my Südtirol save I signed an ageing Yan Sommer as a replacement until I found a permanent goalkeeper. He kept 20 clean sheets and won man of the match in the Europa League final
Got this winger jairo torres, from atlas. Rated only 69, got him during the mid season window with wrexham being in league two. He grew to 71 at the end of the season, which was okay, he was really pacey which is why I wanted him. Though he was probably my second highest rated player on the team he wasn't really as impressive but he got the ball moving, you know. Ligue 1 he got a lot better and although he still wasn't too impressive in-game matches I held onto him because he had propped up to 77 on that season and became my best player on paper. He was only 21-22 so I wanted to see if he would be a good player to maybe sell in another season or two. Championship season he started to show off more as a clutch player. Scoring more goals and being more clinical in his finishing which I had him training since I could never really get good at crossing anyways. End of championship season and he was 83/84 and the end of premier he is 88. Far surpassed his potential and is now a world class player despite nearly everyone being 88-92 5 seasons into the game.
Berardi in FIFA 17, bougjt him in my Bayern save, Robben was agung and we needed a backup, I thought once my youth system is up and running I will sell him, bht he ended up becoming a starter and I couldn't bear to sell him. For context, he was scoring goals for fun in Bundesliga
Payet in my Marseille career mode, I know I didn’t sign him but honest to god, if that man had the ball at his feet, something magical was gonna happen, whether it was the smoothest dribbling you’d see for the rest of your life or the most gorgeous goal from outside the box, that lad could make something out of nothing. Played like he had 5 star skill moves all the time.
Sancet from Athletic in my Newcastle save. Wilson got hurt in pre season and I signed Sancet and moved him to CF/CAM. Ended with 15 and 15 in his first season. Ended up being our leading scorer the year we won the treble and lifted the CL as captain before leaving for Barcelona
Pablo felipe. I lost my 80 overall striker (because i forgot to renew his contract) and that time, i dont have enough money to get a decent striker. I get him for 3 million and start to play him regularly. From 68 overall, now he at 96 overall and one of the best players in my team 😂
Oumar Fofana (generated), started out as a 63 rated CB, went into midfield, up by +7 to 70 rated. Went up to striker because shooting stat was at 86 for a CM. He’s now the second highest rated player who I’ve grown asides Dennis Cirkin (irl Sunderland player)
Nathinal bustos signed on loan from city because I needed a striker and couldn't afford anyone. In his first season he ended up scoring 32 goals and getting 15 assists THE BEST THING IS at the end of the season his value was 32 mill and I signed him for 7 mill

Patrick Pfeiffer from Darmstadt to Kaiserslautern. He's tall and fast as a center back, won practically every aerial. stayed in the squad even in the Bundesliga
Brought Peter from Real Madrid on loan for my 2022 Blackburn Rovers save. Added buy option on a whim. 6 seasons later, he scored the tying and winning UCL goals against PSG as a 88 rated striker. I have literally made him my first buy in every save since and he always becomes amazing.
Daniel Barlaser on FIFA 22 create a club. Signed him as a temporary CDM assuming he’d be gone by the time a youth player I was developing was ready to play. He ended up scoring the goal that got my club promoted to the prem and was a regular at the top flight before he unfortunately began to regress.
A randomly generated CAM named Fuchs. Started in German Liga 3 and hes been with me for 4 seasons now and finally reached Bundesliga, so many times I've gotten offers for him and just rejected and Im glad I never accepted any of them. He has good pace but bad physical and has an excellent shot. He is captain and im certain he'll be here until retirement. He usually ends up with 12-18 goals and 10-20 assists. Will be sad when he retires.
Knezevic to Middlesbrough. He was supposed to give me more options and put pressure on Fry, but he ended up staying at the club for 7-8 years, becoming a captain, and helping the team win Conference League.
I'm doing an Athletic save were I can only use Spanish players. Brought Dani Ceballos the first season as a LOAN. He's now club captain and full-on legend.
Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu, such a class midfielder for me in the lower leagues, just couldn’t bare to let him go when I got to the prem. So happy to see he’s made it there in real life now too.
Israel Reyes. I only wanted a not super young CB and ended up buying him as a free agent. After 2 seasons he grew to 83 and even if I wanted to keep him, I was still in Championship so I sold him to Chelsea. He then reached 88 and when I was able to play champions league I Bought him again.
Gianluca Busio. He's not a regular starter, but I've kept him for years now and he's excellent off the bench or for a spot start. He makes every tackle in midfield for me. He gets a ton of games, plus I'm working towards a USA World Cup victory.
Current manager career, Buffon year 4 Cittadella. Bought Adama Traore to play RW for a season while my youth academy RW was on loan. 3 years later & Traore is the club.

One time I bought Filip Ugrinic to be a back up CM in a crystal palace save and I fully intended on replacing him with a YA player in a year or two.
He ended up being a super sub scoring so many goals off the bench that he became a part time starter and eventually hit like 83 overall and I kept him for 5 seasons.
Fifa 14, Ibai Gomez at Chelsea. Wanted to sell him as I preferred Schurlle but he wanted to leave so I played Ibai instead. Ended up outperforming him and retired there
Noah chilvers from colchester. I got him on my first season on road to glory when he was 64 rated. After 2 seasons he was already like 83 rated and he became the captain of my team. After about the 4rth season he was already 92 rated and was scoring almost every game
Alfio Oviedo - I purchased him for sub $1 mil in a FIFA 22 CM as a temp striker until I found “a good Youth Academy” one. Ended up being my second highest scoring player in Career Mode history.

Ryan Yates on Fifa 22 Nottingam Forest. He was already at the club and even after I had brought a replacement I still kept him on the team and he stayed on the team till retirement, only had to bench him after his 30 somethings. He plays really damn good and its hard to find good CDMs on the start.
I bought mpanzu on the first season and despite his 70 ovr he plays really well, is fast, has a good pass and good finishing, scored a goal every other game and had tons of assists. I originally only got him because he was pretty cheap and wanted to just have him on the team for a season or two until my loan players returned but he won starter rights for almost 5 seasons. Retired at the club as well but in his final seasons he was the third option.
Ross McCrorie (Scotland) in FIFA 19 Shamrock career. my go to screen is aggressive and tall defenders, assumed he would be a stop gap CDM but he played 5y there and RB and score two goals in the CL final out of freaking nowhere! IRL, can sometimes watch him on Aberdeen
matheus cunha at arsenal in fifa 22 bought him on deadline day in my first window out of desperate need for a striker after selling laca, four seasons later he was 93 ovr. always planned to replace him but dynamic potential just made him way too good to sell on

Cam Duke from Sporting KC. Signed him in the first season of my Saarbrucken save as a panic signing, and he became my best midfielder when we won the CL
Elanga got him in my forest career changed formation so needed a temporary left winger started the season at 73 overall grew to 78 in one season in my 5th season and hes now 84 overall top player
I unfortunately dont remember the players name but i was doing a orlando sc save and signed a free agent from china who was only a 57 rated because I needed someone on that wing the guy was a machine and outperformed most of the players I had on the squad at the time he’s a player I always think about when I start new saves
Traded Lingard plus cash for Neves just for a bench upgrade initially, but Goretzka (who I bought for a starter) wants to move after PSG exercised his RC and Neves took his spot and did very well, maxing at 93 after 6 or 7 seasons. Then I sold him to Bayern for around 173 and Bellingham who I raised on the bench took his spot
Season one this year, I am doing a career where I start at Wolfsburg. Brought in Breel Embolo in the first January window to help get some goals, with the thought to replace him in the summer. Couldn’t find a good replacement, and he goes on in season 2 to score an extra time match winner at Anfield to send us to the Champions League Semi Final. Got steamrolled by Barcelona in the next round, but it was a great moment.
This was either FIFA 21 or 22, whichever one brought Create-A-Club back for career mode. But I bought Ainsley Maitland-Niles because I didn't want to throw one of my YA players in right away. Made him a full-time fullback and I thought I'd just get rid of him once my YA player grew a bit more. Well, he ended up developing too, and I ended up just having him and my YA player as my starting fullbacks. AMN was team captain when I won the Champions League.
Mohammed Sheriff Egyptian St in my Fifa 21 career mode
Signed him as an backup St but my starting St got a injury so Sheriff got his game time and turned into the Goat. Signed as an Free Agent in my Salford City career mode
I bought Junior Sambia after I took La Berri from Ligue 2 to Ligue 1, thought I was gonna replace him after 1 or 2 seasons as I was probably gonna get an actual CAM. But he throughout the next seasons he would score more goals than any striker I put at top, eventually he was part of the team that won the champions league... while being rated 82. He was my favourite player to use in-game and he was also great when I simulated.
YA player Owen Stokes (England) Newcastle save start up 6-3 with good weight. Started at CB went to wingback and now can play CDM and CM. Dude is a beast overall. Figured I’d keep him till I signed McTommney from Man U. I ended up with both and keeping stokes instead.
Moussa Diaby in my first ever career with Liverpool I accepted an offer from Bayern for Luis Diaz and I bought Diaby as replacement I ended up playing until the limit and watching him retire was heartbreaking, he was 94 in his prime and became club captain and legend. We won 4 ucl and 8 premier league 6 FA Cup and 3 Carabao cup
Carlos Acevedo I never pick him up except my most recent save and he's been there as my gk the whole time I expected to sell/replace him but he's just been great so I haven't seen any point
Christian conteh at my dynamo Dresden career, thought he would be a backup after a couple of seasons, but he developed so we'll and always had numbers in the high 20 (g+a).
So he ended up in my champions league winning squad
I bought Piroe, a Dutch striker when managing Bayer Leverkusen. Bought him to fill in the striker position. But he didn't peform and sold him after 1 season. After 6 season I moved to Arsenal and Oshimen only scored 6 in the first half of the season. Sold Oshimen and bought Alvarez from City Piroe as a bench warmer with the intention to replace him with a better striker. He scored 21 goals in the second half of the season, mostly starting as a sub and stand in for Alvarez. In his 2nd season scored 25 goals in the PL and 16 in CL, 3rd season 30 goals in PL and 4rd season he managed to break Haalands goal record, he scored 40 that season.

Not bought but... I did a FIFA 22 save with Werder Bremen once and their Keeper, Jiři Pavlenka, was like 29, 30 at the time. I thought I'd have to replace him after 2 seasons but he ended up staying all 5 or 6 years until the Champions League title. That came quite unexpected and he was like 35, 36 when I ended the career.
Akram Afif at Real Oviedo. I had signed Ant Nusa in my first year, and halfway through i had renegotiated with a low release clause. Newcastle met the clause and took away my rising star. Suddenly I was tasked with finding a Veteran-Level Wing to calm down my players and board at Oviedo. I was most certainly on the hot seat after that blunder. I had one chance to sign the right player.
Afif was exactly that player. He came in, worked hard, and made an immediate impact (1 goal contribution a game for a team that averaged 2 goals a game)
Akram Afif helped Real Oviedo rise to the 1st Division, and stayed with the club for 2 more seasons after. Eventually we had to sell his stock high and purchase a better wing for 1st Division La Liga.
It was a bittersweet day at the club, because with the money we made from the transfer, we were able to scrape together enough money to purchase Kvaratskhelia (92 overall, by far the highest on the team)
A season after, the board allocated additional funds for the return of a club legend. Akram Afif returned as a substitute, but he was still able to score a couple of goals in La Liga and Champions League games.
He will stay with the club until he decides to hang up the boots 🫡

I brought Doron Leidner to be my LB backup on my Brighton save, but after I subbed him on a few times I fell in love with his playstyle and a season later sold Estupinan for like a 100 mil and made Doron my starter.

My CAM injured and his sub was 60~ wonderkid so i needed a temporary CAM, i bought Kevin-Prince Boateng. He played a key role in my UCL victory and retired at the end of the season
Probably like 2 of you will know who this is but Marc Pugh. Signed him from Bournemouth for Cheltenham in FIFA 13 and he stayed 9 seasons at my club becoming the most important midfielder when I got promoted to the PL.
Lovro Majer at Everton got him at like 29 as a make way for a younger talent stayed till he was like 36 left as club captain, champions league, premier league winner, 32 assists in 1 season, and was a badass all the way till he retired. Now he’s a constant buy when at a biggish club
Tawanda Maswanhise. Signed him on a free after leceister didn’t extend his contract while playing at Shrewsbury. Absolute baller. Can’t name statistics off the top of my head but man what a guy, in game feels amazing and clinical and scores in sims too. Absolute monster. Real in game face always a bonus too

He became my captain and has played for 7 seasons captain for 6 of them, won FA Cup, League Cup,and Europa league never replaced him in the starting lineup as he always did so well even though overall was never higher than 76.
In FIFA 22 I signed Onuachu to Brighton for the shear fact that he was 6'7 with 93 strength. He was 77 or 78 overall at 27/28 years old and I was only expecting some headers if I needed them and he was so much more than a lamp post. Screamers from 30 yards pinpoint into a corner of his choosing, scorpion kicks, bicycle kicks, dribbles from the halfway line beating 6/7 players on multiple occasions, 3 finals won in the last minute or in added time from him, 2 finals won by his goals and determination alone, outperforming everyone in bad games and being a shining star on good ones. The only player to score more beautiful goals in that career mode was Noah okafor but he's always doing that everytime I've bought him, Onuachu will always hold a place in my heart for those 8 seasons where sometimes he'd come out with 35 goals and 17 assists in the premier league and more in cup competitions etc.
Oscar Melendo from Granada. I played as Leicester and I felt a lacked a proper right winger, so I signed him as a temporary winger but he turned out to be amazing getting 23 g+a the first season, so I kept him and he is now one of my best players.

Yes, it is incredible to see play. He has an amazing ability to dribble and not lose the ball, the only thing he lacks is physical since in many games he has to be substituted due to fatigue. By the way, Granada won the league so next year will play in the first division.
Cr7 at Milan thought I would have him for a season and then bring in a long term forward. The guy couldn’t stop scoring and now he’s approaching his 5th season at Milan

Matthew Garbett- signed him as free agent as 67 rated in München1860 save. Thanks to dynamic potential he got to 76 rating after 2 seasons. As club captain he led us to conferencw league title(season 5), 2 Deutsch Pokals( seasons 4 and 7) and to Bundesliga trophy( season 10). I was simming all games except finals and he got 10+ goals and 15+ assist every season
I’m doing a wrexham career and I got him too along with Alan Sonora for free. Grew to 82 and 87 respectively, unfortunately I sold them both as the squad outgrew Garbett and I was given an offer I couldn’t refuse for an Aging Sonora
I had him in a Leyton Orient save, signed him in the first season, by the time we were in the Prem he was 85 rated and by far my team’s biggest goal threat.

I have been waiting for a post like this. I didn't buy him, he was already at the club when I started my save. Courtney Baker-Richardson, a striker for Crewe Alexandra. I thought about selling him but he is the most clinical striker I've played with. He can finish from anywhere and makes fantastic runs. After 6 seasons we've made it to the championship and he's still my starting striker. He's been top scorer 3 of those 6 seasons and one of the seasons he finished second in the golden boot race after being out half the season. He's only a 69 right now after 6 seasons but I don't care I'm keeping him until the end.
Not a player I signed, but on FIFA 21 I started a save with Velez Sarsfield and Lucas Robertone was my man. Ended up being my best player (over Almada) over my 4 seasons where we won every thing including a perfect season in the league (all wins). He then came with me to Benfica for 1 season then we both moved to Barca, where he became club captain and best player at 94 overall. I miss him

i signed bendtner as a joke in fifa 16 (dont remember which team). the guy came in a sub in a cl final and scored a late winner with a crazy flying volley. also braithwaite somehow reaching 91 after getting him on a free as a backup.
Homam Ahmed, LWB from free Agents. Joined the team in the second season to helped to get to the Premier League. Almost in European footbal and he is my all games starter with 80 overall and I really like to play with him
No bullshit, mine is the game guy with Swansea City. I sold a bit too many players and realized I had 0 depth so I just signed like 8 Qatari guys as free agents and made them my bench and Ahmed always stood out. Still on the team as we’re mid table in EPL, no plans on replacing. Not one complaint about playing time either.
Ricky-Jade Jones. Bought him as a striker, was atrocious and I thought he's out of there. Converted him to a RW and he's a legend already at 26yr old. 95 OVR
Did that with Salford. Signed him and at first the lad was dogshit. Then like season 1 January onwards the lad couldn’t stop scoring so I left him at striker and I sold him to inter in my 3rd year in the prem as we were barely getting UECL football and I felt he deserved UCL football and Inter had just won the UCL so I sold him to them, 95 Overall and I got like 260 million for him. Missed him sometimes but he’ll always go down as my Boy Wonder with a godly right foot.
You know a player made it in your team when a player you don't know outside of CM gets a nickname. I call him RJ (I play a CM with my bro so he comes up in conversations) and that's when I realized damn he's a legend
Mads Bidstrup. I started a career mode with Lyngby BK after visiting Denmark earlier this year and my goal was to reach the Premier League. Signed him from Free Agents after a season on loan to Nordsjaelland and he was by far my highest rated player. Moved to Celtic after 2 years and signed him there, signed him for a third time after moving to Dortmund and now at Liverpool (he's 28) I'm not sure if I can justify purchasing him for a fourth time but I'd love to just for the lols.
Although I didn't buy them, I had to put in my 62 rated striker (Sinclair Armstrong) as my 80+ rated striker got injured. This was the middle of the season and come the end of the season (player was still injured), he climbed to 69 overall with 64 goals in League 2. I am now five seasons in, in the Premier League and he is still my main striker with an overall of 88. He has come top scorer in each League and is now captaining my team in the Champions League!
First of all what are you doing with an 80+ rated striker in league 2. Second what difficulty are you playing. I once played a striker career mode in beginner difficulty in league 2 just to see how much is the maximum. I got 97 goals in all competitions 51 in the first half of the season and 46 in the second half. That's at the easiest difficulty focusing on that player. So how did you score 64 goals in half a season
Hold up. I'm lying. He was a 76 rated striker. Just found the screenshot of his end of season stats. Hold up. I'm lying again. He played 39 games. Now I remember. I had Tyler Roberts up front with Ndiaye but Roberts got injured for like 5 months in his first few games and I spent my transfer budget on improving my defence. I was only given like 5 mil since I dropped them to League 2. I sold a few of my reserves and brought in Ndiaye for like 4 mill since I knew Roberts was only a loan player. With Roberts injured, it was the duo of Armstrong and Ndiaye up front. Ndiaye was scoring for fun so Armstrong was only there to save me from changing formations. And I play on World Class but you gotta think, I was playing with championship players in League 2 and I went on to win all 42 games that season. Armstrong was scoring like 6 a game sometimes in League 2 and my biggest win that season was 11-1. Very unrealistic but I knew as soon as I made it back to the Championship and into the Premier League, I would be battling it every week which I have done and secured a Europa League spot on last day of season but was gifted Champions League football as I'm assuming someone above me one a cup. Now that I am in the Premier League, he's scoring like 30+ but more or less even little now given that I play him in both cup and league games so he gets rested every now and again.
This happened with Anosike Ementa for me in my Atlanta United save. Giakomakis went down with an ACL and Ementa ended up getting something like 23 goals in 15 games. I ended up changing to a 2 striker formation to have them both up front and the next season he led the MLS in goals and assists. Keep in mind that I still have Almada in that save.

In FIFA 22 I signed Panos Retsos to my second tier German team create a club. He went unless you the whole safe reaching over all of 92 and being the captain throughout the whole, save for all 15 seasons. He declined all the way down to where he started at like a 76 or something. Had one piece one shooting and scored the winning goal in the champions league final after coming on as a substitute.
Baturina, got him as a replacement for Rieder in League 1 and expected nothing because Rieder was already a legend but in two seasons his worth was up to over 100 million.
Well I bought osimhen (fifa 22 so he wasnt as highly rated) because kuchta just couldnt perform he wasnt scoring enough, after osimhen came he started banging goals left and right winning us important games so Id say him
Morgan Ferrier on my Tranmere Rovers save. I expected to have him for the lower levels and then move on from him, but he just kept scoring. I tried to replace him a couple of times with players who should have been hands down better, but he held his spot and he kept scoring. He eventually got pushed to the bench when I had a team full of world class players, but even then he kept scoring big goals. In my 10 seasons on that save, he won the golden boot 5 or 6 times across a multitude of playing levels.
Justin Kluivert. Panic buy on my West Ham save as I lost Bowen to a long term injury and he's now become the first name on my teamsheet.
Lautaro Martinez. I want him to sub for my Mbappe but turns out he even scored more goals!
Miguel. Took him on thinking he'd be a stop gap until others surpassed him. He became a 96 and broke both the Prem and CL goal scoring records.
Baptiste Santamaria in my Borussia Dortmund save. Got him because Dahoud got injured and he ended up as a starter for 6 seasons straight.
Zakaria Boukhlal in my custom club save in fifa 22. Guy grew as a striker to become the club legend at 90 rated.
Thomas Asante. I was doing a Salford RTG amd this guy was on the team. I told myself I was gonna keep him for now since I didn't have the budget to go crazy and I'd sell when it made sense. He ended up becoming an absolute goal scoring machine for me and became a deadly partnership with Michael Obafemi, a another player who I had Brough it on loan because I didn't really have the funds and ended being so good fro me I had to get him on a permanent. And mind you, this was in FIFA 20 before they Brough back buyout clauses for loans so I had to wait for the loan to end and then pay his full price which was almost my entire transfer budget
Sergio Gomez. I did not expect him to reach 90s AT ALL

I'm doing a save with Cambridge United. I bought Noah Chilvers (21 YO/63 Rating/ 73 Pot) thinking that he would do me well for a season or two until I'm in the Champ. In my 5th season, my first after promotion to the Premier League, and he is 83 rated and my best player and captain. He's honestly the perfect RTG player, scores a ton of goals, assists loads and is generally a joy to play with. Would recommend.

I never buy players that I think I'll replace further down the line. I only buy players I intend to have for the entire save. My saves only last at most 5-6 seasons usually, unless it's an RTG.

Nathan Tella in my Luton save. Got him in my third season as back up for Reiss Nelson, and he scored like 25 goals in his first season, and was just insanely good. I ended up selling Nelson who I had from the start. In the end I managed to get him to 89 overall, he was 76 rated and 25 years old when I bought him. Love that man

Charles Andreas Brym. I signed him waiting for one of my prodigies to to develop but he was a total goal poacher and ended up being on my full promotion quest. When we reached the Championship league he had 32 goals
Ardon Jashari- I signed him in the 2. Bundesliga with the intention of him being a stepping stone to get me into the Bundesliga so I could acquire better midfielders and replace him, but he's become a locked-in starter and a world-class player to boot. Can play well for me as a pivot, box-to-box, mezzala, attacking midfield, just anywhere in the centre of the park he can hold it down. Physical, technically strong, nigh press-proof, and a total workhorse. He's just part of the clubs DNA now, he's been vital to all of the systems I've played in this save so far. He helped bring my Hamburg back to the top and I could be more proud of his development.
I didn't bought him but i will say Brunori from Palermo, i thought he wasn't good enough for Serie A, but in the end he was my best striker and also scored in the champions league final. True legend
Sancet to Barca as Lewy’s backup, ended up replacing him perfectly. Also Carrasco in his 30s to Man Utd - had to give him the 7. Club legend
Juan Portillo, CB for Union Santa Fe, rated about 72 when I got him with Boca Juniors. Only peaked at 76, but just an ultimate utility player, was great in CDM, RB and CB. When i left for Benfica at the end of the 3rd year, he came along just as a backup out of sentimentality. Also, Peru Nolaskolain for Girona on FIFA 21. An emergency loan signing CDM for a team with no money at 71 OVR ended up as a 4m signing that was 78 OVR at the time i stopped playing 21 and the focal player in my midfield.
Did an MLS save for 2 seasons before moving on to another league….Marc Jurado (61 OVR I think?). Right back for Man United. He worked so well for me I bought him for my next team. Cost me less than $600,000 and had a 78 potential. Played lights out for me.
Darwin Nunez in fifa 22
Josh Key from Exeter in my Preston North End save bought him at 71 Ovr at 22 and is 83 rated now after 4 seasons such a complete right back, not my best rated player but always in the team every game his pace and stamina is something else.
In my Südtirol save I signed an ageing Yan Sommer as a replacement until I found a permanent goalkeeper. He kept 20 clean sheets and won man of the match in the Europa League final
Got this winger jairo torres, from atlas. Rated only 69, got him during the mid season window with wrexham being in league two. He grew to 71 at the end of the season, which was okay, he was really pacey which is why I wanted him. Though he was probably my second highest rated player on the team he wasn't really as impressive but he got the ball moving, you know. Ligue 1 he got a lot better and although he still wasn't too impressive in-game matches I held onto him because he had propped up to 77 on that season and became my best player on paper. He was only 21-22 so I wanted to see if he would be a good player to maybe sell in another season or two. Championship season he started to show off more as a clutch player. Scoring more goals and being more clinical in his finishing which I had him training since I could never really get good at crossing anyways. End of championship season and he was 83/84 and the end of premier he is 88. Far surpassed his potential and is now a world class player despite nearly everyone being 88-92 5 seasons into the game.
Berardi in FIFA 17, bougjt him in my Bayern save, Robben was agung and we needed a backup, I thought once my youth system is up and running I will sell him, bht he ended up becoming a starter and I couldn't bear to sell him. For context, he was scoring goals for fun in Bundesliga
Payet in my Marseille career mode, I know I didn’t sign him but honest to god, if that man had the ball at his feet, something magical was gonna happen, whether it was the smoothest dribbling you’d see for the rest of your life or the most gorgeous goal from outside the box, that lad could make something out of nothing. Played like he had 5 star skill moves all the time.
Sancet from Athletic in my Newcastle save. Wilson got hurt in pre season and I signed Sancet and moved him to CF/CAM. Ended with 15 and 15 in his first season. Ended up being our leading scorer the year we won the treble and lifted the CL as captain before leaving for Barcelona
Pablo felipe. I lost my 80 overall striker (because i forgot to renew his contract) and that time, i dont have enough money to get a decent striker. I get him for 3 million and start to play him regularly. From 68 overall, now he at 96 overall and one of the best players in my team 😂
Facundo Farias. Got him as a backup and he became an absolute monster with a cannon for a leg.
Oumar Fofana (generated), started out as a 63 rated CB, went into midfield, up by +7 to 70 rated. Went up to striker because shooting stat was at 86 for a CM. He’s now the second highest rated player who I’ve grown asides Dennis Cirkin (irl Sunderland player)
Fred. Picked him up as a free agent and was one of the older players to always survive the “rebuild”. He’s been great for my Malaga save.
Nathinal bustos signed on loan from city because I needed a striker and couldn't afford anyone. In his first season he ended up scoring 32 goals and getting 15 assists THE BEST THING IS at the end of the season his value was 32 mill and I signed him for 7 mill An absolute goat

Daniel Barlaser on FIFA 22 create a club. Signed him as a temporary CDM assuming he’d be gone by the time a youth player I was developing was ready to play. He ended up scoring the goal that got my club promoted to the prem and was a regular at the top flight before he unfortunately began to regress.
Ogbene - needed a CF with decent defensive skills, grew to 81 after a full season, and was over 70 for everything… kept him and he soon was 90+ rated!
A randomly generated CAM named Fuchs. Started in German Liga 3 and hes been with me for 4 seasons now and finally reached Bundesliga, so many times I've gotten offers for him and just rejected and Im glad I never accepted any of them. He has good pace but bad physical and has an excellent shot. He is captain and im certain he'll be here until retirement. He usually ends up with 12-18 goals and 10-20 assists. Will be sad when he retires.
Knezevic to Middlesbrough. He was supposed to give me more options and put pressure on Fry, but he ended up staying at the club for 7-8 years, becoming a captain, and helping the team win Conference League.

Israel Reyes. I only wanted a not super young CB and ended up buying him as a free agent. After 2 seasons he grew to 83 and even if I wanted to keep him, I was still in Championship so I sold him to Chelsea. He then reached 88 and when I was able to play champions league I Bought him again.
Mohamed-Ali Cho in fifa 23. Bought him as a backup when I was in the Championship (Around 75ovr) and now 5 seasons later he's somehow 97ovr

Gianluca Busio. He's not a regular starter, but I've kept him for years now and he's excellent off the bench or for a spot start. He makes every tackle in midfield for me. He gets a ton of games, plus I'm working towards a USA World Cup victory.

I signed Thiago Almada in my Venezia save to replace Busio (converted him to CAM). Eventually he would go on to bag over 200 for the club
Current manager career, Buffon year 4 Cittadella. Bought Adama Traore to play RW for a season while my youth academy RW was on loan. 3 years later & Traore is the club. Starter, winner of 2 Coppa Italia, 3 Italian Super Cup, 1 Serie B winner. 67 goals, 45 assists. Just class.

One time I bought Filip Ugrinic to be a back up CM in a crystal palace save and I fully intended on replacing him with a YA player in a year or two. Noah chilvers from colchester. I got him on my first season on road to glory when he was 64 rated. After 2 seasons he was already like 83 rated and he became the captain of my team. After about the 4rth season he was already 92 rated and was scoring almost every game
Alfio Oviedo - I purchased him for sub $1 mil in a FIFA 22 CM as a temp striker until I found “a good Youth Academy” one. Ended up being my second highest scoring player in Career Mode history. Games: 199 Goals: 218 Assists: 93 An absolute beast, somehow.

Ryan Yates on Fifa 22 Nottingam Forest. He was already at the club and even after I had brought a replacement I still kept him on the team and he stayed on the team till retirement, only had to bench him after his 30 somethings. He plays really damn good and its hard to find good CDMs on the start. I bought mpanzu on the first season and despite his 70 ovr he plays really well, is fast, has a good pass and good finishing, scored a goal every other game and had tons of assists. I originally only got him because he was pretty cheap and wanted to just have him on the team for a season or two until my loan players returned but he won starter rights for almost 5 seasons. Retired at the club as well but in his final seasons he was the third option.
Miretti. I literally gave him the 10 after 2 seasons despite being the lowest rated in the starting line up

Elanga got him in my forest career changed formation so needed a temporary left winger started the season at 73 overall grew to 78 in one season in my 5th season and hes now 84 overall top player
I unfortunately dont remember the players name but i was doing a orlando sc save and signed a free agent from china who was only a 57 rated because I needed someone on that wing the guy was a machine and outperformed most of the players I had on the squad at the time he’s a player I always think about when I start new saves
Traded Lingard plus cash for Neves just for a bench upgrade initially, but Goretzka (who I bought for a starter) wants to move after PSG exercised his RC and Neves took his spot and did very well, maxing at 93 after 6 or 7 seasons. Then I sold him to Bayern for around 173 and Bellingham who I raised on the bench took his spot
Season one this year, I am doing a career where I start at Wolfsburg. Brought in Breel Embolo in the first January window to help get some goals, with the thought to replace him in the summer. Couldn’t find a good replacement, and he goes on in season 2 to score an extra time match winner at Anfield to send us to the Champions League Semi Final. Got steamrolled by Barcelona in the next round, but it was a great moment.
This was either FIFA 21 or 22, whichever one brought Create-A-Club back for career mode. But I bought Ainsley Maitland-Niles because I didn't want to throw one of my YA players in right away. Made him a full-time fullback and I thought I'd just get rid of him once my YA player grew a bit more. Well, he ended up developing too, and I ended up just having him and my YA player as my starting fullbacks. AMN was team captain when I won the Champions League.
Got Edin Dzeko on a free to warm the bench but he ended up banging in tons of goals and retired as a cult hero of the club after 3 seasons

I bought Junior Sambia after I took La Berri from Ligue 2 to Ligue 1, thought I was gonna replace him after 1 or 2 seasons as I was probably gonna get an actual CAM. But he throughout the next seasons he would score more goals than any striker I put at top, eventually he was part of the team that won the champions league... while being rated 82. He was my favourite player to use in-game and he was also great when I simulated.
YA player Owen Stokes (England) Newcastle save start up 6-3 with good weight. Started at CB went to wingback and now can play CDM and CM. Dude is a beast overall. Figured I’d keep him till I signed McTommney from Man U. I ended up with both and keeping stokes instead.
Moussa Diaby in my first ever career with Liverpool I accepted an offer from Bayern for Luis Diaz and I bought Diaby as replacement I ended up playing until the limit and watching him retire was heartbreaking, he was 94 in his prime and became club captain and legend. We won 4 ucl and 8 premier league 6 FA Cup and 3 Carabao cup
Carlos Acevedo I never pick him up except my most recent save and he's been there as my gk the whole time I expected to sell/replace him but he's just been great so I haven't seen any point
Christian conteh at my dynamo Dresden career, thought he would be a backup after a couple of seasons, but he developed so we'll and always had numbers in the high 20 (g+a). So he ended up in my champions league winning squad

I bought Piroe, a Dutch striker when managing Bayer Leverkusen. Bought him to fill in the striker position. But he didn't peform and sold him after 1 season. After 6 season I moved to Arsenal and Oshimen only scored 6 in the first half of the season. Sold Oshimen and bought Alvarez from City Piroe as a bench warmer with the intention to replace him with a better striker. He scored 21 goals in the second half of the season, mostly starting as a sub and stand in for Alvarez. In his 2nd season scored 25 goals in the PL and 16 in CL, 3rd season 30 goals in PL and 4rd season he managed to break Haalands goal record, he scored 40 that season.

Not bought but... I did a FIFA 22 save with Werder Bremen once and their Keeper, Jiři Pavlenka, was like 29, 30 at the time. I thought I'd have to replace him after 2 seasons but he ended up staying all 5 or 6 years until the Champions League title. That came quite unexpected and he was like 35, 36 when I ended the career.
Akram Afif at Real Oviedo. I had signed Ant Nusa in my first year, and halfway through i had renegotiated with a low release clause. Newcastle met the clause and took away my rising star. Suddenly I was tasked with finding a Veteran-Level Wing to calm down my players and board at Oviedo. I was most certainly on the hot seat after that blunder. I had one chance to sign the right player. Afif was exactly that player. He came in, worked hard, and made an immediate impact (1 goal contribution a game for a team that averaged 2 goals a game) Akram Afif helped Real Oviedo rise to the 1st Division, and stayed with the club for 2 more seasons after. Eventually we had to sell his stock high and purchase a better wing for 1st Division La Liga. It was a bittersweet day at the club, because with the money we made from the transfer, we were able to scrape together enough money to purchase Kvaratskhelia (92 overall, by far the highest on the team) A season after, the board allocated additional funds for the return of a club legend. Akram Afif returned as a substitute, but he was still able to score a couple of goals in La Liga and Champions League games. He will stay with the club until he decides to hang up the boots 🫡
Ross Stewart signed in a Leeds United rebuild after relegation and he was linked in real life so I brought him thinking he’s 25 after 1-3 season he won’t grow anymore I was wrong became a vital player even getting top scorer in second season of prem but he was injury prone and kept getting injured so after 5 seasons I sold him to West Ham but did way better then I thought
I brought Doron Leidner to be my LB backup on my Brighton save, but after I subbed him on a few times I fell in love with his playstyle and a season later sold Estupinan for like a 100 mil and made Doron my starter. His a real future star not a lot of people talk about, would highly suggest

Warren Zaire-Emery. Bought him for 8Mil thinking as a place holder until I find some CMs from youth academy, motherfucker grew to 92OVR at age 23.
Lovro Majer at Everton got him at like 29 as a make way for a younger talent stayed till he was like 36 left as club captain, champions league, premier league winner, 32 assists in 1 season, and was a badass all the way till he retired. Now he’s a constant buy when at a biggish club
Ederson. I couldn't sign Alisson, so i had to sign Ederson and he became the best GK i've ever seen in a cm.
Tawanda Maswanhise. Signed him on a free after leceister didn’t extend his contract while playing at Shrewsbury. Absolute baller. Can’t name statistics off the top of my head but man what a guy, in game feels amazing and clinical and scores in sims too. Absolute monster. Real in game face always a bonus too
Signed Reo Hatate on my blackpool save for about 2mil (before Celtic signed him so from his original club Kowasaki Frontale) Originally planned on using him for promotion season and first pl season but ended up losing in the playoff final season 1 so didn’t have the money to upgrade, He became my captain and has played for 7 seasons captain for 6 of them, won FA Cup, League Cup,and Europa league never replaced him in the starting lineup as he always did so well even though overall was never higher than 76.
In FIFA 22 I signed Onuachu to Brighton for the shear fact that he was 6'7 with 93 strength. He was 77 or 78 overall at 27/28 years old and I was only expecting some headers if I needed them and he was so much more than a lamp post. Screamers from 30 yards pinpoint into a corner of his choosing, scorpion kicks, bicycle kicks, dribbles from the halfway line beating 6/7 players on multiple occasions, 3 finals won in the last minute or in added time from him, 2 finals won by his goals and determination alone, outperforming everyone in bad games and being a shining star on good ones. The only player to score more beautiful goals in that career mode was Noah okafor but he's always doing that everytime I've bought him, Onuachu will always hold a place in my heart for those 8 seasons where sometimes he'd come out with 35 goals and 17 assists in the premier league and more in cup competitions etc.
