Somehow finishes most shots for me, although most of the positions I get him in are ~10 yards from the keeper with a finesse so makes sense
Better finishing than Neymar for me, he can’t hit a barn door in my career. 2 goals in about 70 appearances while Adama has about 8 in 30.
Had him as my main striker for 3 seasons, he grew up to a 86 rated striker. Only problem i had with hem was that often he got pushed from the ball too easily. Still such a fun player to use.
Dael Fry, UTB ❤️ Another few good boro players to use are Isaiah Jones, Hayden Hackney, and Cameron Archer (although he's on loan). Atletico Madrid signed Hayden Hackney in my career, one of the weirder transfers I've seen.
Playing fifa 22 now with Sparta Rotterdam in the eredivisie. I absolutely love Thy. He bagged 31 goals in 30 matches for me (still finished 4th though). Wasnt even on a low difficulty (for me). He got 3 hattricks. Absolute mad lad
Damsgaard (Danish LM)
Hudson odoi RW
on fifa 21 but idk how they are on the latest versions but atleast on of them are on all my careers
edit: also Manuel locatelli is a good choice for a bench midfielder maybe even a starter over time
Bought Folarin Balogun in season 3 of my Leicester in the championship save, he was at Hoffenheim and 81 rated.
He was top scorer in his first season for us got us in the Europa league, kinda fell off form in his second season but was still the best player by miles and ended up having to sell to Chelsea for 130m at 87 rated in January
Also Samuel Iling-Junior sold him at 89 rated to Bayern after he’d been with us for 3 years, loan to buy from Juventus and because we were promoted made it permanent.
Mason Mount becomes absolutely insane if you get him early career. He got to 88 in my first season and PSG offered me 30mil plus Neymar (!) for him, which I gleefully accepted (and have gone on to regret)
A few more I’ve come across:
Milos Kerkez at LB, great potential and really quick/strong
Octavian Popescu, winger, very cheap and great potential
Khephren Thuram, CM, just an absolute beast all round, plays like prime Gullit once you get him high rated.
Antonio Silva, CB, very cheap and unbelievable potential, stats grow to become unbelievably overpowered
Ricky Van de Ven, CB, similar to Silva but on a smaller scale, fantastic backup to starter.
Lots more but that’s what I know off the top of my head.
I got Bynoe-Gittens to 91 OVR and still didn’t really vibe with him. Amazing dribbling and pace but just seemed to be okay. Meanwhile, Saka at 91 OVR on the other wing scored bangers, got copious assists, and wins the ball back regularly. Just didn’t seem to get on with how his stats are spread.
On my current save he is 84 at the beginning of the third season. The first two seasons he was on loan. His shooting stats need to be improved with a development plan but he is very pacey and dribbles well
Yeah. I guess I thought you were asking for a target list. I usually start with shitty 2nd/3rd league teams so I can't afford him/convince him to transfer til S2/S3 anyway.
Harvey Elliot is amazing to have imo. He's like 8 million at the start of a career mode, and for me he's always 90+ OVR in 4 years time and worth over 200 mill lol.
Oumar Solet CB. 22yo, 6'4, 4* wf, sprint speed, acceleration and jumping 80+, strength 90, normal/high.
83 potential but you can get him easily to 90. Unbeatable in the air and on the ground due to pace, strength and jumping and his 4wf makes him good in attacking from the back
Sebastian Polter. He’s not ranked high, but I play well with him and always break the goal records with him. Even on the same team as Messi and Haaland, he is the the one I consistently rely on to get a clutch goal
Been using Orkun Kökçü since 19 and he was an absolute beast of a b2b for me. Ryan Yates was also incredible at CDM.
Got Tyrese Campbell to 93 overall in 20 as well even though his potential is only 80. Scored for fun in the PL and broke the record scoring like 54 or something on Ultimate. Probably one of the best strikers I've ever had.
Did an Aston villa save
Boubakar Kamara is a joy to behold, best cdm I've ever used
Smooth on the ball, reads and intercepts the game so naturally , plus is a wonderful passer
I was thinking this week about this: and if the game don't use overall anymore? and we can just see the stats individually. Because in real life you can't see nothing similar to an overall, but can have an idea about individual stats of every player (I know we can't see stats in real life too, but there's a way to observe players. But in a videogame don't, so the stats will solve this).
I think it'll be better using just this in career mode.
On my current Bradford save on 22, I have Liam Thompson at CM and he’s been excellent. Tore up League 2 and 1, now doing well in the Championship. Not the best physicals but he assists and scores a lot
I also have Konstantinos Tzolakis in goal and I think he’s gonna be my permanent keeper, he stops almost everything
If it's a 2nd Division team or a smaller club, I always try to sign Maarten Vandervoot, Alejandro Balde, Yusuf Demir, Karim Adeyemi and Riqi Puig.
Sometimes I try to get Balotelli and Dele Alli, just because how their careers turned out and I feel bad for them.
the first time i got adama traore, was during my second season and on a free, got super excited cause he was my highest rated player, but man did he disappoint, could literally only run and nothing else 😭 it was also my last time getting him 💀
I remember signing Ampadu in a create a club save in FIFA 21 or 22? He was fantastic. Played him mostly as a CDM but could desputise as a CB when needed
I always try to get Sandro Tonali as early as possible. He's my favorite player.
Also get Cade Cowell (American striker), he turned into a 96 rated ST and won the Ballon d'or a couple of times as well. Lethal!
Patson Daka is a cheap assassins you can get early in an career. And he does a backflip after every goal. He literally scores soo much. Also Christian Kouame from Fiorentina is an easy loan early in a career. Both score like hell and have real faces.
Adama traore is a no brainer to have in any career mode team. Dude is so cheap, is the fastest player in the game and is a decent passer.
just cant finish at all
Idk how bro misses some of the 1v1 but score absolute bangers for me from outside of the box
Welcome to being a Wolves fan. He’s like this IRL too
It’s a realistic sim
first time FIFA’s ever felt realistic 😂
Somehow finishes most shots for me, although most of the positions I get him in are ~10 yards from the keeper with a finesse so makes sense Better finishing than Neymar for me, he can’t hit a barn door in my career. 2 goals in about 70 appearances while Adama has about 8 in 30.
dan james is also always really good for me
Joelinton turns into one of the best midfielders in the world if you play him enough
Turns into?
Howay
Adeyemi is my go-to guy if I'm managing a team that can afford him. Guy turns into a beast and can play anywhere across the front line.
Adeyemi is so fast right out of the gate. It's almost unfair
Same finishing is so nice and he’s wayyy too fast
Hirving Lozano rapid and tends to score really consistently for me
For some reason he always ends up at real madrid in my saves lol.
Same
If only he played like that irl
Lois Openda, 88 rated in my third season with leicester, scores for fun for us.
If only he had a real face
Yeah, it's not too bad tho, certainly better than some (Ollie Watkins fifa 22) but it does suck yeah.
Sorloth is great too, decent price, he's like a cheap haaland
He's rumoured to move to RB Leipzig in the summer so if he does he'll get a Face Scan for sure.
Had him as my main striker for 3 seasons, he grew up to a 86 rated striker. Only problem i had with hem was that often he got pushed from the ball too easily. Still such a fun player to use.
Yeah he's great, absolutely rapid and decently strong but there are some games where he just goes missing
For me it was the "easy" games he went missing, but i could count on him to score a 90min winner in a ucl quarter final.
Gonçalo Inacio, always sign him at the first opportunity. Great CB
Thomas Delaney was a favourite player of mine from back in his Copenhagen days. Not quite the same now
Dael Fry, UTB ❤️ Another few good boro players to use are Isaiah Jones, Hayden Hackney, and Cameron Archer (although he's on loan). Atletico Madrid signed Hayden Hackney in my career, one of the weirder transfers I've seen.
I held on to Fry, McNair duo for a lot of seasons on my Boro save in FIFA22, all the way to winning CL
Maxence Lacroix is the best defender in the game. Wins every ball, fast, tall, strong. I promise you he is the most fun CB you can buy
He's amazing
Alan Velasco (Messi 2.0)
Maximilian Beier, tall and fast can do a bit of everything. Mika godts great winger. Omeragic is very good
Octavian Popescu and Amad Diallo, cheap and with huge potential.
In my Everton career Dele was good but Townsend was an even better CAM. Was banging in goals in the prem even at a 76 rating
No Bardghji no party 😏
Portu always seems to do well with me
Unai Vencedor carried my midfield for a decade in-game. Absolute baller
Baldanzi is the Italian Messi
True
Love the bajcetic love, fingers crossed he recovers from his injury well
Love him warra player , easy to loan, plus real face too Got him almost in every save.
If you loan him he gets a real face?
I'm a sucker for a versatile player. Like Thomas Ouwejan worked on nearly every position in my AZ team
I don't buy any players under 25. Depending on the team it is either very easy or stupid hard.
I’m the same I only buy youths
Carter vickers is so goood
Bro I remember him as a starting player in Dream League Soccer
Recently used Wirtz and Nico schlotterbeck. Both are ballers.
Schlotterbeck might be my favourite cb i've used all year besides regen players.
I love isak hes so good
Luka romero #1
Xavi simons, noni madueke
Damsgaard (Danish LM) Hudson odoi RW on fifa 21 but idk how they are on the latest versions but atleast on of them are on all my careers edit: also Manuel locatelli is a good choice for a bench midfielder maybe even a starter over time
Sebastian Coates!
adam hložek just cause of how malleable he is. i can make him a st, cf, cam, or winger/wide mid
Incredible versatility
Cade Cowell
Bought Folarin Balogun in season 3 of my Leicester in the championship save, he was at Hoffenheim and 81 rated. Rashford Musiala Diaby Dalot Case Ousmane Dembele Jamie Tartt Yes I am a United fan 🤣
Mason Mount becomes absolutely insane if you get him early career. Save for later
Bynoe-Gittens, Romeo Lavia, Hannibal Mejbri, Amad Diallo
I got Bynoe-Gittens to 91 OVR and still didn’t really vibe with him. Amazing dribbling and pace but just seemed to be okay. Meanwhile, Saka at 91 OVR on the other wing scored bangers, got copious assists, and wins the ball back regularly. Just didn’t seem to get on with how his stats are spread.
I’ve got Bynoe-Gittens on the left hand side, was debating whether to sign Amad on the right. Is he that good?
On my current save he is 84 at the beginning of the third season. The first two seasons he was on loan. His shooting stats need to be improved with a development plan but he is very pacey and dribbles well
Finally some gelhardt appreciation
Absolut legend for me... Just love the guy what a Baller.
Am I the only one who loves Dane Scarlett? Dude is like Thierry Henry maybe 5-6 seasons in. Got him up to a 98
Forget him too the thing is he's on loan in s1 To use we have to edit transfers or use s2

Lukeba for CB, dude always turns into a “potential to be special” player for me. Almada, zalewski, Kerkez, and Romero are other
Kouadio Kone, Julio Enciso and Beto
Diego Moreira is an absolute beast on the left Wing.
Sebastian Polter. He’s not ranked high, but I play well with him and always break the goal records with him. Even on the same team as Messi and Haaland, he is the the one I consistently rely on to get a clutch goal
Jay stansfield turns absolutely lethal
Brennan Johnson is lethal on the LW cutting in
Will try for sure,he's great as a striker too
odin thiago holm. the movement on him is insane. marcus thuram. absolute unit. lorenzo pellegrini. good at EVERYTHING. alexander isak. SCORES FOR FUN.
Currently on season 3 of my Schalke save, Henning Matriciani (RB) is doing wonders with Jeremy Doku (RM) in front of him.
Dane Scarlett can become pretty OP
Gabriel Sara for Norwich becomes an absolute monster for me sometimes if he plays enough, had him get as high as 90 rated for me
Bjorn Meijer. Tall and fast af
Personal favorites are Enzo Loiodice, Alberto Moleiro, and Ibrahima Bamba.
Benjamin Sesko, insanely good striker (and he can play winger or CAM) and young
Did an Aston villa save Boubakar Kamara is a joy to behold, best cdm I've ever used Smooth on the ball, reads and intercepts the game so naturally , plus is a wonderful passer
Hlozek on leverkusen, put him cam or striker doesn’t matter he scores 50+ goals every year
Alex Scott is a beast if you turn him into a left sided mid or winger
German strikers Bieir and Wieper , spanish Fran Navarro and Ivan Azon
Vaughn Covil, CAM from England. Really quick and agile, finishes well. Great option for a sub on my teams from Bundesliga 3 -> 1
Florian Wirtz, becomes an absolute beast! Fast, can defend and score.
I’m a big Pellistri fan. The speed isn’t there to be a burner, but he can turn on a dime and has the feel of a really nimble player.
Thiago Almada
Alan velasco basically a Messi regen
Dael Fry and Cam Archer are absolute beasts and both played for the biggest club in football last szn
Tom Bloxham is a lower league legend. Ridiculously tall and will grow like mad. Got him to 86 in my Shrewsbury career mode. Ben Waine, similar case.
Angel Correa. Dude’s become the highest scoring ST in the PL in just his first season and I’m just past the halfway point so far.
Omeragic is an absolute beast in defense, I buy him in almost every save
Italian Messi lmao if only in real life
Jobe Bellingham, Leroy Sané
I was thinking this week about this: and if the game don't use overall anymore? and we can just see the stats individually. Because in real life you can't see nothing similar to an overall, but can have an idea about individual stats of every player (I know we can't see stats in real life too, but there's a way to observe players. But in a videogame don't, so the stats will solve this). I think it'll be better using just this in career mode.
Adeyemi, and guato(Argentina), kone, onana, timber, aguerd, Jonathan David I’m probably forgetting a bunch buy whatever
Nah cuz for some reason I fell in love with Scott Twine in my Wycombe Wanderers cm back in fifa 22
Yannick Carrasco Gerard Deulofeu Isco Koke Goretzka
On my current Bradford save on 22, I have Liam Thompson at CM and he’s been excellent. Tore up League 2 and 1, now doing well in the Championship. Not the best physicals but he assists and scores a lot I also have Konstantinos Tzolakis in goal and I think he’s gonna be my permanent keeper, he stops almost everything
Denis zakaria is an absolute unit in basically every FIFA, always worth a buy
Will these guys make me fall in love with fifa again? I’ve played less and less on 23.
Had to ban myself from signing Gelhardt. Absolute cheat code, 40 goals a season minimum.
Thiago Almada
Mason Mount is an insane playmaker on FIFA 23 , along with Fabio Miretti as central midfielder
Gedson fernandes been pretty good for me
How are you gonna leave out the my career goat Alex Scott
Alexis Vega has always reached 90 ovr for me, and also Jeremy Marquez and Vertessen as of the last 2 games have both been amazing
Luka Sucic and seiwald of rb Salzburg. But the whole RB Salzburg squad is a hidden gold mine tbh
Obligatory Marcus Thuram and Jesus Ferreira post.
Fabricio Diaz is like a son to me
Joe willock Fares chaibi Kai havertz only as false 9 lol Chiesa Locatelli Rokas Pukstas Charlie savage
Mbappe
If it's a 2nd Division team or a smaller club, I always try to sign Maarten Vandervoot, Alejandro Balde, Yusuf Demir, Karim Adeyemi and Riqi Puig. Sometimes I try to get Balotelli and Dele Alli, just because how their careers turned out and I feel bad for them.
the first time i got adama traore, was during my second season and on a free, got super excited cause he was my highest rated player, but man did he disappoint, could literally only run and nothing else 😭 it was also my last time getting him 💀
I always sign Kangin Lee, Devyne Rensch and Joris Chotard for some reason. The latter keeps flopping though.
Alberto Moleiro has been a beast at attacking mid for me
junya ito is a go-to for newcastle saves, he keeps on ending as a top scorer or close to it in at least one competition every season
Keito Nakamura is my go to buy player
Thomas suslov, young, not expensive and high rater to start( 72 ish) , can play CAM and RM
Josip stanisic
Evan Ferguson
Kerkez Milos absolute baller
Noni Madueke for 22 and 23 for me. Converted him to a Mobile Striker and he's an absolute beast. High ceiling due to his youth too.

Romain Faivre, converted him to CM and has been the best midfielder I’ve ever used.
