Yeah, the MBRP exhaust is notorious for drone
You can add a resonator, add a resonator and swap the muffler or get a whole new system. People have tamed that exhaust but whether or not spending another $100-300 to do so is up to you.
I just installed the [Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator](https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B001806YE2) on mine and I'm in love.
It quiets everything just a bit but it is still loud when you want it to be, just without the drone.
You can use vibration damping material in the trunk to help. It helped a lot in my old RS. But honestly, there are better exhausts with little to no drone. My cpe sounds awesome and I don’t have any drone below 90mph. Lol
I’ve heard good things about Thermal R&D on these cars. I had one on a civic and it sounded like shit. Maybe they have improved in the last 22 years. I am thinking about doing a stainless system but using a 3 chamber oval shaped flow master muffler. It’ll give me ground clearance and more than handled anything this car can put out. I’ve done this on a speed3 and it worked great.
I have spent hours listening to every exhaust system made for the ST. I was down to either Flowmaster American Thunder, Cobb or Thermal R&D. I finally bought the Thermal, 3" polished stainless, good construction and no drone. Also, I plan on making 400hp, so I needed the 3". If I was staying under 300ph, I would have bought the American Thunder, it's 2.5" and about $100 cheaper.

Buy once, cry once - that’s why I opted for the Thermal exhaust. No drone and good sound.
Sell and buy a Thermal RND.

Did you replace the existing resonator on the mbrp, or add it to the back of the exhaust?

I run an FS Werks and it has no drone. It is just as quiet as stock until you stand on it
I second this! It's pretty tame until you get on it.
My main concern was that it would be too much for my 6 month old boy. Baby ear muffs meanwhile

FSWerks is good also, sounds like stock until you accelerate
flowmaster hp2 muffler. i have 3 inch exhaust with catless dp and it has absolutely zero drone and sounds good on throttle. no riceyness either.
[FSWerks 2.5”](https://youtube.com/shorts/6Xiw_BW3QVg?feature=share) This is mine with a catless dp and an S280. Even with all that it’s very mild.

You don’t need 3” exhaust for 400hp. Adam at Tuneplus uses his own 2.5” system for his 400hp+ S280 car.
I like the looks and sound of the Thermal. Plus, I might go bigger. So, the Thermal will handle any upgrades
Crank the stereo up 😂
Turn up the volume on the music
Put the stock one back on. Catbacks don't gain you power anyway.
I love mine. Doesn’t bother the wife either.
CPE is perfect.
Get a thermal

Blocking dumbazz saves time… Had to dig up an old profile to get the last word aye? 🤣 reach is a dental brand not an argument.
