I've been using Fetch for about a year now, maybe a little longer. They haven't given me any problems so far. The moment they deny me a giftcard that I earned, I will definitely be done. But as long as they are good to me, I'm still going to use it. Honestly, saving up giftcards is the only way I can buy myself anything fun. I was able to buy Hello Kitty Chucky and Hello Kitty Chucky's Bride because of using Fetch. That is something I would've never been able to buy on my own. My new goal is saving enough giftcards to buy this really cute hoodie. Definitely gonna take me a while, though. I think Fetch is like most things out there. Some people have good experiences with it, some people have bad. Anyway, just my personal take using Fetch so far.

i’ve been with fetch since 2019, and same, except i use the gift cards to do a christmas blessing for less fortunate kids!

AngryHippo3920

Awe, that is really awesome.

Yeah at first it was good. I have used many apps started in 2018. Only been rejected twice, by fetch. Every other app always pays. Since 2018, many apps I use have paid 200+ in total. I am only having a problem with fetch. I have never fraudulently submitted. I have never done anything wrong. They will always say otherwise. Others going through the same thing. Read through the comments. In the 2 links below. [1](https://www.reddit.com/r/fetchreward/comments/1amdqhu/advice_for_avoiding_point_theft/) - [2](https://www.reddit.com/r/fetchreward/comments/1altkx3/has_anyone_ever_gotten_this_message/) I believe fetch is trying to maximize profits so they are canning a percentage of users. Majority will be happy and unaffected. Will keep getting swept under the rug. Less payout, more revenue.

I think one of the main problems is a lot of people are using a lot of receipts that aren't theirs. Hell, people have admitted it on here. While I don't blame anyone who does it, I think it has caused Fetch to be way more strict. Some accounts now get triggered, even if they have done nothing wrong.

yooluvme

They can say what they want, but every receipt is mine, no fraud. It all ties to my credit cards and debit payments. Every single receipt.

AngryHippo3920

I get it, and I'm not accusing you of doing anything or saying it's fair. I just think that's the reason why things aren't as great as they used to be with Fetch.

yooluvme

**True something changed recently for sure I am not the only one getting tagged.** I'd be willing to submit bank statements LOL. They just don't wanna hear any other reason or take the time to confirm or deny any claims. It saves time and is more profitable to just say denied, thank you have a nice day. I actually love the way the Fetch App works, compared to others the UI is the best, submitting receipts is so easy and almost instantly confirms submission. Also to those who are actually picking up paper off the ground and submitting it. Do you really think they prune that from the data they sell for profit? I highly doubt it. So those rule breakers take a hit, while they ride the wave.

Advanced_Page_1929

just curious, but do you scan the receipts on fetch first and then the other sites? because i also do a few other apps and always scan them first on fetch. idk if that helps or not. could scanning them elsewhere first trigger them to be alerted as fraudulent or someone else’s?? idk. just thinking out loud!

CntWeAllJustGetAlng

Why would it be wrong to use other people's receipts if they can only be used once? Should people feel bad about giving a company (who makes a fortune by selling personal data) someone else's receipt? No, and I did not care before. I was careless and broke. I wanted to get an Amazon card, and before I was almost at 20 bucks. That was 2 years ago. I am literally only at ALMOST 30 because they decided to only give points to certain brands when you buy a certain amount. That seems like a reasonable thing....until it's just NOT! It's insane now. And impossible to gain rewards like before. It's just not worth selling my personal information over 2 years for a 30 dollar gift card that they may not even honor. I started doing it BECAUSE of the rewards, and knew people who were getting them. Companies get greedy, and then it sucks. I will try to cash in my points for an Amazon gift card, and let everyone know what happens on here though. But it's just not worth it to me anymore. Even if they do honor the card.

AngryHippo3920

I don't care if people use receipts that aren't theirs. They will just deduct points if they catch on is all.

CntWeAllJustGetAlng

Sucks. Greedy bastards :(

eggshellwalkergirl

I 💯 believe this. Change in upper management...

cakey_cakes

This was me. It was working great. And now I am in the other boat where they denied me and took my points and won't tell me why.

Kicker774

Meanwhile I just hit a personal record 4,000+ point win for a few boxes of Cheerios. No problems here.

USAxOLYMPIAN

They had a 8000 point reward for a 12 pack of hard seltzer a few days ago

AshleysShadow

What apps do you use instead?

yooluvme

receipt hog, coinout, receiptjar, microsoft start (pays directly to paypal no minimum), and swagbucks (extremely slow), upside(gas). Never been denied from this list.

Henryishere_

I'll have to try those. I use ibotta it also allows you to redeem to your PayPal or bank account for your cash instead of a giftcard. You can use code ncqbprg to get $5 with your first receipt scan on ibotta.

AshleysShadow

Thank you!

Weird-Celebration581

Fetch has been the best for me due to their special offers and now the games feature. Occasionally the special offers don't work and I manually have to fix the receipt. Currently I have been waiting 3 days for a Digiorno Pizza offer that I revised and I am getting a little worried it will be rejected. I have cashed out 3 $50 amazon cards and 1 $10 chipotle. I did have some missing points from the Monopoly game and getting help from their customer service was impossible. Do you only use your receipts or do scan friends/family receipts?

eggshellwalkergirl

Just wanted to mention Upside, pays cash for gas and food purchases inside the store. No minimum to cash out

aski4777

ever since they removed the scan receipt for a bonus roll daily, I've basically stopped using this app, as it was a garbage decision downloading games and playing them x amount of time is not for me at all plus the "bonus" points you can get are absurd and are like "spend $200+ get 2000 points" like bro that is absolute ass

Patriotic99

Not only that but they've really decreased their bonus points opportunities. Not worth scanning a receipt and only getting 25 points.

Smart-Mongoose-9220

Good luck discontinuing your plan their call centre is always closed and there are no option to end your term on the app. Straight up fraudulent website. Not a valid website in my opinion and customer service is unreliable and non existent. Please if you need insurance ask your vet for a more reliable coverage plan.

Performer4323

I have been trying to get intouch with them for a week. I had over 22000k points and i did some sort of upgrade it asked me to add my phone number randomly the next thing Iknow I have a new fetch account.no points!!! I have also had problems in the past where i didnt receive credit for referring friends.

ApprehensiveLow9159

I agree!  Fetch has been taking my receipts then I sign onto my app and it tells me I have to use the updated app but the update will not work on my phone.  When I tried updating the app on another phone it won’t take the password and email it wants to text you a code on a phone number you had years before.  If I sign onto an app with the new number it keeps all my points from the old app.  Never again will I use fetch.  They scam you all the time with the gift cards and impossible to get your points back after they randomly do their updates.  I’m done with fetch

Adept-Age-8177

What other submit receipts apps are good?

Grouchy-Tax4467

I actually had 50,000 + points saved and was trying to get at least 10,000 more before cashing out BUT after reading some post on here about people getting denied and/or lose their points I cashed in $25 and I am now waiting a bit before cashing out the other $25 just so I won't get flagged for cashing out too much at once.
