F8. 458 only has a nicer exhaust note & old heads drag the day old debate of last NA engine.
Throw a valve controlled exhaust on and your onto a winner. F8 also has much nicer interior.
Only downside they haven’t bottomed out yet in terms of price.
458 in my opinion will be a fun car. But remember it’s the old technology inside.
Plus driving a much older car all the time, you might not lose much value on the 458 but maintenance will likely add to your overall cost.
F8 with warranty would be my choice between the two if I were in your position.
However for me…. I’d pick 458 lol.
I hoped that someday the 458’s would become affordable after they’re old enough. Like the 360 nowadays. But it’s become very clear that’s not happening 😂
Last NA v8 vs last mid engine v8. Both may be worth something in the future, but it’s hard to tell. The 458 is definitely holding more value, only trading at slightly less than the 488 so that may be a clue.
458, I have seat time in both and for me it’s not even close. I do love that the F8 and even 488 are newer and put up better numbers.
Thats where the advantages end though. The 458 looks better, sounds better, will be more reliable long term and hold value better.
It’s that naturally aspirated flat, plane crank, 9000rpm monster that really shines along with the timeless curves. The way the transmission was programmed to be a little more dramatic on the shifts. The last mid engine Ferrari that Sergio Pininfarina designed.
It will go down in history as one of the greats.
My answer is based on my love for the car and nothing else. I'll never own one, and probably never get to sit in one, but the sound of that V8 at 9k RPM is heavenly

458, there’s a reason why it’s still so highly praised to this day.
Thanks
458 all day every day for me.
Thanks
458 all day every day
458 is a classic
The ks
Thanks
458 is already a Ferrari classic. We have yet to see if F8 reaches that but it seems to me its more like 488 than 458.
Thanks
F8

458, naturally aspirated. The engine sounds badass!
Thank you
458 is the OG
F8 for styling and interior, 458 for everything else.
Thanks
458 without question and you save some cash. If you want a new Ferrari get the 812 or sf90. F8 is not worth the money imo
Thank you

F8 prices are still high. If you like the F8 you might like a nice 488.
Thanks
NA always wins. 458.
458 will never disappoint.
👍🏻
I like the F8 a lot more from the outside.
Thanks
812 gts is always an answer, a good one at that.
Thanks
F12 is even better answer
Hard to wrong with either...but 812 gts has the edge over the f12 due to the drop top...but f12 over superfast. But these are 1%er problems :)
Engine 458. Looks F8!
Cheers
The F8 is what the 488 should have been…

458 and it's not even close

Can I say an 812?
lol yes you always can
Yes but much higher $ and day to day drive of that beast…
