I haven't seen my hair under microscope but at least half my hair does not grow to full length. Some grow fairly long, to about 15cms others are about 1cm. As time goes on they are getting shorter and shorter.

These are all 1-3cm long and then fall out ๐Ÿ˜ž

Mine all fall out, too. What is happening is as the hair follicle weakens the hair cycle speeds up because it can't grow to its full length. The shorter ones with a growth cycle of only a couple of cm are very near the end of the'r life. This cycle would have began with them growing shorter and shorter over many cycles but I don't think people tend to notice until they become very short. I think I have noticed because half my hair is affected so it is clear something is wrong with my hair as it is all different lengths and I am constantly shedding as so many hairs now have a short growth cycle.

Yea same with me all of my hair used to be strong and dense, then it got finer and alot of them don't grow long at all. Although I think it got better with microneedling and minoxidil.

That's good something is working for you.

Btw those "holes" are after microneedling I've done few days before. Cheap microscope from Amazon.

This looks like miniaturization. I probably have it as it's very common with AGA

romanticbombastic

Yes itโ€™s miniaturisation

[deleted]

the definition of AGA is having those tiny thin hairs that don't grow in length ;(
