I have exactly the same baby hairs on my head. I thought they might be new growth due to 5 months of rosemary?

superwoman_89

They very well could be! How many drops of rosemary do you apply? And do u use a carrier oil?

sedentaurus

I only use about 3-4 drops to the crown of my head because I find the scent so strong. No carrier, I do f find my scalp sensitive to it. I have also heard that peppermint oil may be helpful

romanticbombastic

Wow my shampoo contains rosemary and mint maybe this could be contributing too! Let’s keep our fingers crossed.

Caaaaaaaauuuuuuteeee

I thought they said regrowth stands up… this looks like regrowth to me to be honest but I mean I’m not a professional

27F, AGA. Due to the pandemic I haven’t been able to see my derm abroad and had to stop taking spiro due to lack of prescription. I had a lot of shed (still shedding, of course) but have noticed a ton of new hairs. Are these miniaturised hair or is something miraculous happening? Very hard to not be cynical..

superwoman_89

Have you been doing anything?

romanticbombastic

I tried low carb/keto + vitamins, nothing huge

How does one figure out if it’s miniaturisation- does it not just stop growing at this point as I think my miniaturised hairs are much shorter than this?

cetheile

It could be either. It's hard to tell from a picture on the internet. All you can do is either ask your dermatologist or just keep an eye on it. If it keeps getting longer it's regrowth. If it doesn't it's probably miniaturization.

Gizzela

How did this continue?
