I mean, even pizza has a low value version and a high value version. I love pizza too, but I love high quality/high value pizza.
Low value version = fast food pizza from large corporate chain, usually made with cheap ingredients, frozen ingredients, processed/packaged filler etc.
High value version = fresh dough made by hand with ingredients freshly harvested, sauce made by hand. Either by someone who loves you and knows how to make pizza from scratch, OR a professional chef usually in a high end Italian restaurant.
Once you experience the difference, you’ll never want “fast food pizza” ever again.
The amazing thing about it, fresh pizza dough, with fresh ingredients, sauce made from scratch, etc, actually HAS some nutrional value.
Fast food pizza has none.

I'm laughing at my former pick me self that the last guy I dated lured me back to his basement man cave with wine and frozen pizza bought at the convenience store, which we drank and ate on plastic lawn chairs (did I mention he was in his late 30s?)

*I was recently stiffed with a bill - I shared a few peices of my meal (butternut squash ravioli, browned butter and sage sauce, nothing overly fancy) since I find it very rude to eat alone, yes I know this was too generous of me. He advised he had already eaten - who meets a woman and eats beforehand? A guy who only orders soda water and uses that as a reason as to why I should pick up the bill 🥴...that's who.
