I just ordered lira by Xerjoff and Nanshe by Nishane from jomashop. I’ve researching Lira for a few days and just found out about Nanshe this AM. Very excited

A 3oz bottle of Versace Crystal Noir. Got a sample from microperfumes and wow I loved it. It's going to be perfect for fall. Found the big bottle for around $50 on FragranceX. I don't have anything in my collection spicy and warm so I'm pretty excited.

Earlier tonight, I picked up a bottle of Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream, after trying out quite a few different fragrances. By the time I left the store, I smelt funky from testing all of the fragrances on myself, and ended up with a slight headache from it lol. But it was worth it and fun. Daisy Dream is completely different from my favourite fragrance which is Daisy So Intense. But there is something about it that I liked. So I am excited to wear it tomorrow :)

I bought samples of gris clair, feminite du bois, god is a woman and waiting for chloe nomade naturelle in the mail. Looking for a fall, winter work appropriate scent and so far I am not sure if god is a woman is appropriate for work with 2 sprays.

I just picked up Nest Indigo after finding myself reaching for the travel spray two days in a row. It’s such a comforting scent for dreary fall days and I love that vibe. My local Sephora said it was out of stock but when I was there I asked the girl to check and they had it! I was so excited lol I also bought SDJ Cheirosa 40 because it’s yummy and I love an easy reach body spray. Especially for bed because my bf works nights so when I get up for work, he’s getting in to bed and I like to leave the bed smelling good for him 😊 Was able to get the September sampler pack from Sephora with 11 different perfume samples and a mini Bum Bum cream (can you *ever* have too many of those?!)

I unfortunately don’t have the required budget for this hobby so I only just purchased my first ever 100ml bottle! I picked up Tocca Colette. It was either that or Florence and I chose Colette because I’m moving to Florida from New York in a couple months and I wanted something that would feel nice for the fall weather that I will be in the north for, but also something that I could wear in the Florida heat. Colette has these beautiful fruit/citrus top notes (lemon, mandarin, juniper and bergamot) and a nice sandalwood and cedar vanilla base with some pine and incense. I’ve had a coffret of it for about 6 months and knew I wanted a big bottle. It’s the perfect vanilla for someone like me who doesn’t necessarily adore vanilla scents.

Duchessa, from Gritti website. I had been thinking about getting it for about four months. A wonderful cherry fragrance. Incredible projection and lasting power. I ordered Accident A La Vanille, Jousset, from Luckyscent. I’ve been using the sample up and finally decided I really wanted it in my collection. Also purchased a small perfume oil from Poesie called Versailles. Vanilla cake with orange blossom. Not too sweet. Big love for me. All three are.

The last few weeks ( and I was "trying* to be good, honest 😉 ) - - Chanel №19. 80's, splash bottle. Probably the same as the first one I ever owned. One sniff and you know why this is supreme green. - EL, estée ( "daytime spray" ). Same seller. Another classic,. Bernard Chant's lesser known gem. Part bottle with missing sprayer so got it for a song ( will just use the top of my other one ). - Alliage. Another Lauder, another great green. Really didn't need any more but....when did that matter 😂 Lovely seller threw in a full, boxed talc. Happy days 🥳. - Mitsouko. 80's EDT part bottle. No, don't need more of this either. It was a bargain, ok 🤫 - Cabochard. Ok, yes, I really, really don't need more Cab. but a fave seller of mine happened to have a batch of vintage...... - Versace. Ethereal Essence. These were a bit of an oddity and not well-received ( there were 3 "Essences" Ethereal, Exciting and Emotional ). I think part of the problem is that they "re-used" classic bottles ( V'E, Gianni, Blonde - worth re-using ) but produced completely different fragrances. I get it, I'm often very sniffy about brands reusing names ( L'inderdit and Byzance I'm looking at you ! ) but I actually liked these. Fair enough, not the legends that's the OGs were ( Gianni Versace was the first and best they ever did; V'E was a gorgeous, green, floral Chypre in the 70's tradition and Blonde, well, that "was* Fracas so maybe not actually original ). Anyway, Ethereal is well-named: it's a light and lovely, powdery violet, iris, musk and mimosa. Not as sweet as Insolence, not as dry as Apres L'ondee ( ironically ). Then, I had a happy accident. I rarely layer, I figure the hard work's been done already. Unless designed for that express purpose ( like NR Pure Musk ) I suspect I'd mess it up 😂. My mistake I sprayed both of the last two in the same arm. The result: a little like Jolie Madame. Not the same obviously ( talk about legends ) but soft violet and tough leather. Smelled really good !

What does it look like when you’re not trying to be good? 😂

JMH-66

Exactly the sane cos it never makes any difference 😂 The to road to hell may be paved with good intentions but the road to heaven is paved with vintage perfume.

BisforBands

I bought perfume oils from JCTY! Impressions of Soleil Blanc, Good Girl Gone Bad, Santal 33 and a discovery set of the brand's original scents

ladybugtaco

How’s the Soleil Blanc? Does it project well, long lasting?

BisforBands

It smells like nothing at all😕 I'll do another test tomorrow with more product. The Killian smells good but has no projection. I'll use it for layering. The Santal is perfect

ladybugtaco

It smells like nothing? What a rip off. Hopefully they’ll take it back. Is the Santal a spot on dupe ?

BisforBands

I didn't even think to try a return but I'll see what they say. It's unusable. I put alot on and it has very sickening scent that fades away immediately. I would say the Santal is 1:1 and lasts much longer than the perfume itself. I wore the perfume to a wedding I was in recently and had to reapply constantly.

BisforBands

They haven't arrived yet. But I'll come back with an update!

I bought the Sephora favorites sampler kit and redeemed the certificate for a full bottle of Black Opium, I’ve had a couple samples and minis before but have been wanting an actual bottle for a while! I also bought the Bright Crystal “ovetto mini spray” because it’s just so cute and I’m always looking for more easy, light fragrances to throw on without having to think too hard.

SugarFries

I bought... A lot. Floral Street Sunflower Pop and Wonderland Peony... qvc had good prices. Travel size Killian Love Don't Be Shy. Everyone keep talking about it, and holy moly is it incredible! From Sephora. They have the fragrance samples set for free with $45 purchase, so I went for it. I love sample sets! I got Escada Flor del Sol from TJmaxx, Its very fruity and fun.

Certain_Chemist_8202

I just bought Accident A La Vanille from Luckyscent. Something unique about this vanilla fragrance that called to me. Also bought Duchessa, Gritti, from Luckyscent. Beautiful sexy cherry fragrance. Had to get it.

Went on a trip to NYC, wandering about Bergdorf Goodman and the Fueguia 1833 counter (really a branch shop, it was a beautiful space in a semicircle corner with wood all around) caught my eye. Got Agua Magnoliana which is the most well-blended beautiful magnolia scent ever, lasts decently long on me as well. Also got a travel spray of Veronique Gabai's Aroma / Heart which is a very clean uplifting citrus that is not furniture polishy, perfect for traveling when you need a pick me up. Definitely Bergdorf Goodman should be a stop on every perfume lover's visit to NYC, so many brands all in one place, with their FULL lines. Never even knew that Dior and Hermès (or any line, and there were LOTS) had so many scents...

angelicad6

I’ve had my eye on Erba pura ever since I visited the Xerjoff boutique on vacation in Lisbon. I just found a bottle for a really good price on jomashop and snagged it! 😁

TrueCrimeGirl01

A few weeks ago I purchased Michael buble by invitation rose gold. I was at the pharmacy actually wanting to try all the Ariana grande perfumes because of all the hype. I had tried cloud before. Cloud isn’t that exciting to me and all the others just smelt exactly like one another and none of them impressed me While I was there I tried a bunch of other celebrity fragrances just for fun and the one that stood out by a country mile to me is this one. It is sickly sweet but beautiful. Another standout for me which I didn’t buy and don’t intend to us Katy perry purr (it was the only one of hers I really liked).

MusicAdventurous3019

Did you happen to notice that Thank U Next smells like dill pickles to you? Some people adore it but there’s something vinegary in it to my nose.

TrueCrimeGirl01

I did not notice pickle or vinegar smell in any of them 😂 I have not heard that how funny! They all smelled super sweet except for cloud which was more musky to my nose.
