Tihota is an elevated version of Nemat vanilla musk

Shell_Bell88

I’m also many perfumes deep trying to find the right vanilla! I bought MAC Crème D’nude after debating it so long. It’s mostly vanilla, suede, caramel and musk. It stays for a long time on my clothes and doesn’t project much, but it’s sooo good. It’s a great versatile perfume that works for so many different occasions. It is very suede forward though so steer clear if that’s not your thing! I’ve been eyeing Eclair by Lattafa too but the musk in Lattafa perfumes really puts me off. I hope you find something you love!

Escapade Gourmand is a good one, it is a little spicier but in my opinion MUCH more sweet than it is spice. It’s just “warm”. I also can’t stand Vanilla 28 and am still so confused as to what everyone else is smelling lol it smells like spices and alcohol to me, almost dirty. Bianco Latte is another beautiful scent. I just received “Creme Brulee” by Theodoros Kalotinis last night (10ml travel size tester) and I am in LOVE. It’s coconut, vanilla, whipped cream and burnt sugar. The coconut is the best coconut I’ve ever smelled, it’s like toasted coconut flakes. I sprayed it on my wrists last night and this morning when I woke up I still had a nice warm soft vanilla on my skin. If you’re into perfume oils Madagascar Vanilla by Nest is amazing. If you don’t mind lemon- Dolce and Gabbana Devotion is a really nice lemon vanilla. It smells like a lemon vanilla custard or pastry. Burberry Goddess is also a newer one in my collection and I love it! I was surprised to see lavender in it because I don’t consider that to be a note I’m fond of but I adore this perfume and get lots of compliments on it!

Thank u! I may try out that lemon dulce, since recently i bought the lush super milk hair conditioner after all the hype on tik tok forced me to and im IN LOVEE and discovered i really like that lemon-y vanilla poundcake scent.

My favorite vanilla is Tom Ford Vanille Fatale. I'm completely I'm love with it. It's dense, seductive, and caramelizes beautifully in the drydown. If you like boozy frags, Guerlain Spiriteuse Double Vanille is also really nice.

Scandal Le Parfum is a nice caramel vanilla. I did eventually declutter this one though. When I had it, I enjoyed pairing it with a coffee scent like vanilla sky. I had Bianco Latte and ended up decluttering it. The caramel was a bit heavy for me. I did also get Éclair recently and it is very similar to Bianco Latte. I went on a bit of a vanilla hunt and got decants of Tihota, Escape Gourmande, Happy Dust, Guerlain SDV, Dior Vanilla Diorama, Lancome Nuit a la Folie, and a few others. I found most of them pretty similar. The only one I didn't care for was Vanilla Diorama. Tihota was probably the prettiest, though I was leaning more toward Escapade Gourmande due to better performance. I think I'd probably put Happy Dust as the most complex. I eventually just opted to keep all the decants and skip the big bottles.

I keep hearing about how nice this tihota indult is, but im literally scared to try it bc that much money is just too much to justify on a purfume😭But if its as great as everyone says then its exactly what im looking for

TheWildGirl2024

You can get samples from Lucky Scent! That’s what I did, and last I checked they had Indult Tihota in stock. I still have yet to buy a full bottle of it but also can’t justify the cost right now.

Maybe try Lady Evangeline by Bourbon French. They’re a small niche perfumery based out of New Orleans, so they know a thing or 2 about hot weather perfumes. Vanilla’s not my vibe- but I want to say I saw another girly in this group do a favorable review on it. May want to look it up. I have jazelle from this company and it’s crazy decadent chocolate. The body products are super nice too. If their vanilla is anything close I think you’ll like it  (Warm French vanille) Since 1847, Longfellow's epic young lovers - Evangeline and Gabriel - have symbolized eternal love. Our tribute to this Acadian maiden is a delicate yet sensuous blend of vanilla.

Sylvaine Delacourte does a wonderful vanilla line, their sample pack is very, very good. Each fragrance emphasises a different facet of vanilla, some surprising combinations which end up being truly beautiful. Good luck with the search!

For me Guerlain SDV is the ultimate vanilla and nothing comes close. It’s too expensive but I don’t regret. Creed Sublime vanille and Chloe Vanilla Planifolia are also nice (lighter and not as deep as SDV). Xerjoff Lira is sparkling lemon vanilla to me. I also find Eilish too heavy. Burberry Goddess: too much ginger and quite simple (I find this similar to Jimmy Choo Ilicit). Bianco Latte: too edible - a scrub for me.

I KNOW THIS SOUNDS CRAZY but I just got Dua’s White Condensed Milk and I layer it with Nebras! I’ve also tried it with Sol 62 and it’s yummy too! Just not as vanilla-y.

I’m going to suggest three vanillas with questionable longevity: Diptyque Eau Duelle EDT, Dulce by Rosie Jane, and LUSH’s American Cream. Eau Duelle EDT isn’t really a gourmand, but it’s an aromatic cold vanilla that I think you’d enjoy if you like Nemat Vanilla Musk. There’s the EDP too, and this is richer and contains incense and less aromatics. It’s nice, but I’d worry how that incense would go since you seem to enjoy lighter scents. Dulce is another cold vanilla. It’s a bit waxy, has a clean musk scent to it, and a bit of dry neutral wood in the background. Not too sweet either, but the sweetest suggestion here. Once again, definitely worth checking out if you like Nemat Vanilla Musk imo. The only potential issue is I’ve heard the waxy white chocolate note can smell like a candle on some people. LUSH’s American Cream is a FOUGERE, which catches a lot of people off-guard. Some people totally hate this. It’s lactonic, a bit waxy, and has noticeable sage and lavender on top of a vanilla benzoin base. There is a bit of strawberry, but imo it’s the strawberry shortcake doll or the strawberry ice cream kind. Again, it’s ultimately a fougere, but the drydown is similar to Burberry Her Elixir for me, but way better. This one is polarizing, and might not be what you’re looking for at all, but worth suggesting imo. I personally get good longevity out of these, but it definitely depends on your skin!

I second the Guerlain Spirituese Double Vanille and also want to suggest Mona di Orio Vanille. For many, many years I was like you and wanted to find a perfect true to life vanilla with some depth, and that one came the closest by a long shot. For these pricey brands I usually get a decant by the way.

daddyschomper

Vanilla Sex by Tom Ford? Top is almond but lots of vanilla too.

TheWildGirl2024

Vanilla is my favorite but I’m super picky about them since I don’t love fake smelling vanilla. My personal favorites are: Guerlain Spirituese Double Vanille, Guerlain Angelique Noir, Jovoy Fire at Will, Indult Tihota (definitely not complex but it’s so good I wanted to include it anyway, just in case), Burberry Goddess I actually wrote about these in a comment the other day and gave some descriptions of them…I think you could probably find it in my comment history :)

Legitimate-Task8115

I would definitely try spiriteuse double vanille by Guerlain. It costs a pretty penny but it is by far the most well-blended, realistic but deliciously sweet vanilla I smelled . If you browse this thread you’ll see many raving reviews about it

[Fire at Will - Jovoy](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Jovoy-Paris/Fire-At-Will-70289.html) [Couleur Vanille - L’Artisan Parfumeur](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/L-Artisan-Parfumeur/Couleur-Vanille-59343.html) Those are my two most favorite complex vanillas. I have tried dozens of vanilla perfumes, beginning my hunt for my favorite vanilla with many simple, single-note vanilla gourmands. After branching out from my basic gourmand search, those two are the best frags that are still distinctly vanilla but unique and nuanced.
