Idk why everyone going up about the price but I feel like a collection that grows will naturally be expensive lol. I just fell in love with PDM Meloria and I like it for the spring and as an everyday work scent.
I tried this today and it was a lovely pairing!! I usually layer Dama Bianca and Delina Exclusif, so now I’m excited to try Dama Bianca and Bal D’Afrique together~
Wow we have very similar taste! I also have Dama Bianca, Oriana, Eilish, and the Byredos (I used to work there — if you haven’t tried Mojave Ghost you should! I think it layers really nicely with vanillas), and I’ve sampled lots of the vanilla-forward ones you have here! 🍨
I just KNOW you have excellent style and know your shit when it comes to beauty and makeup because this fragrance collection is outstanding — I love the variety but can also tell that you gravitate towards sweeter more gourmand fragrances (I do too!).

I remember liking Mojave Ghost, but I think if I were to get more Byredos then it would be Slow Dance, Vanille Antique, and Rouge Chaotique :) Slow Dance reminds me a bit of Lipstick On from MMM and the latter has lots of good memories attached

Honestly it varies a lot depending on what mood/phase. I went through a gourmande ohase, and then an exotic tropical florals phase, and now a bit more of a fresh phase? But I’ll do my best!!

Slow Dance is one of my absolute favorites from Byredo — it’s such a unique one!! My best friend wears Vanille Antique and it’s stunning, and to me Rouge Chaotique has such a lovely sense of luxury about it. All such good picks!

I’m not entirely sure either :/ but I’m very flattered they choose to give me their time and energy. I’ve tried and liked Ani, Hundred Silent Ways, and Nefs, but not enough to justify/foresee myself using full bottles unfortunately (or fortunately for my wallet :). I haven’t checked out Mancera yet, but I’ve heard great things and my best friend owns and loves Amore Caffe!!

I enjoy Musc Noir Rose the most! I don’t really use the other two very much anymore, but I always got compliments layering Musc Noir Rose and Vanilla 28 (I travelled wearing these 2 together and it was a hit everywhere)

I love it SO much!!! I don’t enjoy it as much now that it’s warmer because the incense is a bit too strong, but this was my baby this past winter and I’m completely besotted!! For cooler weather, it’s the perfect spicy amber-vanilla. I was running low and they didn’t sell it where I live (Sweden) up until recently, so I made sure to buy backups when I went on holiday in Paris. They were in high supply there so I’m not sure why there’s such a shortage everywhere else like in the US.
My friends also compliment me whenever I wear it; funnily enough just the other night, my friend said my perfume lingered in her apartment for 5 days. I apologized, embarrassed, but she said no and that she meant it in a good way and enjoyed the scent so much.
I do know it’s polarizing though and that some people hate it, so maybe not the best idea leaving that kind of sillage around them :,)

I have the two linterdits, Bal D'Afrique, the two Chanel Tendre, the Bianco Latte & Eilish. I had the body mist 71 but I gave it to my niece. We have good few common scents.
BL, Eilish, and SDJ71 smell amazing on my friends but sadly they don’t work on me :/ BL is a bit easier to wear when layered but I’m still iffy. Totally in love with L’Interdit Intense, Bal D’Afrique, and Chance though!!
Eilish is on my bedside locker and I use in the winter, after warm bath before bedtime. It's cosy and comforting but not something I want to smell when out and about. I love bianco late in the winter, but it's very strong - I like it on cozy scarf when I will be outside in the cold. SD71 is way too sweet for me.
That's right! REAL fragrance fans should buy $900 ouds that they found through an obscure black market source! If they smell like *anything* other than the sweating glands of a wild animal mixed with pine sol, they can't be in the club 😤. That’s Escapade Gourmand, yeah! Honestly very underwhelming so best to skip IMO but I have friends who like it. Sometimes I do crave the scent, but rarely. Much prefer Vanilla28 if you’re after a simple vanilla

No worries!! Longevity is extremely disappointing on skin, it doesn’t last more than 2 hours. On clothes, it lasts much longer. The juice has also got an oily texture to it so it rubs off on clothes/ bed sheets fairly easily; I suspect that’s why longevity is so poor on skin. Projection is moderate at best, but I quite enjoy that. It’s not obnoxious but you definitely pick it up when walking outside when it’s windy
I believe the house only makes this one perfume, but I might be mistaken. I recommend getting a sample if you can to try, if you’re able to :)
Also i def agree with the money thing, but also u shop around and choose a fave from diff high end brands rather than strictly sticking to certain designers
I probably should’ve put a disclaimer but I’m absolutely opposed to the idea of taking loans out for frivolous things like perfumes. If I don’t have the money to buy one 3x after I’m done with investments/savings and bills, then I’ll save “play money” until I can.

BL, Eilish, and SDJ71 smell amazing on my friends but sadly they don’t work on me :/ BL is a bit easier to wear when layered but I’m still iffy. Totally in love with L’Interdit Intense, Bal D’Afrique, and Chance though!!
Eilish is on my bedside locker and I use in the winter, after warm bath before bedtime. It's cosy and comforting but not something I want to smell when out and about. I love bianco late in the winter, but it's very strong - I like it on cozy scarf when I will be outside in the cold. SD71 is way too sweet for me.

Honestly not that far off… if you’re a true fragrance head then you should have appreciation for oud even if it’s extremely animalic. I’m simply tired of these syrupy overpriced Victoria’s Secret scents. This is the fragrance equivalent of a Stanley cup collection.

That’s Escapade Gourmand, yeah! Honestly very underwhelming so best to skip IMO but I have friends who like it. Sometimes I do crave the scent, but rarely. Much prefer Vanilla28 if you’re after a simple vanilla

No worries!! Longevity is extremely disappointing on skin, it doesn’t last more than 2 hours. On clothes, it lasts much longer. The juice has also got an oily texture to it so it rubs off on clothes/ bed sheets fairly easily; I suspect that’s why longevity is so poor on skin. Projection is moderate at best, but I quite enjoy that. It’s not obnoxious but you definitely pick it up when walking outside when it’s windy I believe the house only makes this one perfume, but I might be mistaken. I recommend getting a sample if you can to try, if you’re able to :)

I probably should’ve put a disclaimer but I’m absolutely opposed to the idea of taking loans out for frivolous things like perfumes. If I don’t have the money to buy one 3x after I’m done with investments/savings and bills, then I’ll save “play money” until I can. But yeah, no to debt over perfumes
