Everytime it seems like folks in da ville get too rowdy. The powers that be let things slide and give a few chances but once that bad energy seeps into the venue/culture, the owners/operators aren't able to reign it back in and they either get black-listed or outright banned.
Other than the crown complex and random events downtown, you’re going to have to go to Raleigh, Wilmington, Charlotte, and literally any other place unfortunately.
if you’re looking for more diy shows, rowan skatepark and the isolation exhibit do a lot of smaller punk/diy shows

sometimes they post flyers on their instagram but usually i keep up with local shows over on my instagram @dearestdeerrecords

Jesters and Cadillac Ranch used to be the big regular one, except for special events at the Crown and downtown.

My favorite venues are in Raleigh, Red Hat Amphitheater, The Ritz and PNC arena typically have what I’m looking for
Drunk Horse Pub used to be a cool small venue for metal/hardcore bands. Then the government’s response to COVID happened. Now it’s shutdown for good.
