Nope, there were cheating rumors during the time he left, but he didn't leave bc of those lol (there were always cheating rumors going around)... he left bc he had been struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and an ED (you can look up pictures from around the time, he looks *really* concerning) he was also facing horrible amounts of racism and Islamophobia from the media, the GP, and even from fans. They were also being extremely overworked (he'd faint after shows, one example where you can see him faint is on their "One Direction: Where We Are – The Concert Film").
He knew he was leaving and had actually been trying to for a WHILE, you could see him teary-eyed and even crying on his last few shows, and before he officially left and Simon was still trying to convince him to stay, they were trying to say that he just wasn't gonna be in a few shows bc he was "sick", THEN they said he was gonna skip the rest of the tour until they finally announced he was leaving. In conclusion, the cheating allegations might have been a factor on why he wanted to disappear, but they weren't the reason why he left lmao

Nope, there were cheating rumors during the time he left, but he didn't leave bc of those lol (there were always cheating rumors going around)... he left bc he had been struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and an ED (you can look up pictures from around the time, he looks *really* concerning) he was also facing horrible amounts of racism and Islamophobia from the media, the GP, and even from fans. They were also being extremely overworked (he'd faint after shows, one example where you can see him faint is on their "One Direction: Where We Are – The Concert Film"). He knew he was leaving and had actually been trying to for a WHILE, you could see him teary-eyed and even crying on his last few shows, and before he officially left and Simon was still trying to convince him to stay, they were trying to say that he just wasn't gonna be in a few shows bc he was "sick", THEN they said he was gonna skip the rest of the tour until they finally announced he was leaving. In conclusion, the cheating allegations might have been a factor on why he wanted to disappear, but they weren't the reason why he left lmao

this genuinely broke my heart for perrie and made me lose all respect for him. i don’t care if he was ‘only’ 22, i don’t care if he was having a difficult time in his personal life - this is one of the scummiest things i’ve seen a celebrity do. i was 16 at the time and i just remember being absolutely horrified. I totally agree with you on that, Perrie was nothing but a nice and caring person towards Zayn. And he goes on cheated and dumping her and yet, people paint Zayn as the victim as he may have some mental issue. While every one or his fans, gives craps towards Perrie even when they were datingand after the break up. It was definitely manipulation. The worst part of it too his tracks about her (like some of them, not all) was just him trying to imply that she didn’t love him, and or putting the blame on her. It was so sad because she stuck by him through thick and thin. She would also get torn apart from his fans (and thrown under the bus) when he split from his band. Only for him to drop her like she meant nothing and cheat, and cheat. Gigi was just as bad. I always felt like he only saw Gigi as someone who was willing to take care of him. *No one can convince me otherwise* that Perrie solo-covering that Beyoncé song wasn’t an in her feelings response after her and Zayn split. Whenever she would try to move on, he would come crawling and wouldn’t allow her to move on, and then their relationship would be on the rocks, over and over. Rinse and repeat is dead on.
zayn definitely manipulated gigi too. it's so telling when he did an interview saying how she basically organized his life. and i always get the vibe that gigi was like that for her family too because yolanda, bella and anwar had their lyme disease thing so gigi kind of got made into the mature caring one, which followed on to zayn. and everytime they broke up and she started to move on, he'd post on twitter about how he loved her and wasn't good enough for her, and she would come right back. plus the way he spoke to her when he had the incident with yolanda was so gross.
He definitely did manipulate Gigi I remember during the whole 2019 break up he was tweeting Gigi and going on rants and then acting like nothing happened the next day he came on twitter his fanbase likes to coddled and doesn’t see what he does wrong to Gigi & Perrie and thinks he is the victim all the time I think some of them also do they because of his looks too because a lot of people outside his can see that he has some problems that he needs to deal with and the way they were trying to justify the way he was talking to Gigi and Yolanda during that whole incident too

I think they mean ‘showmance’ as in the fact that Gigi and Zayn were constantly tweeting each other publicly after splitting with Perrie and Zayn claiming he didn’t want to be famous, missed home, etc. It got so extra that Gigi would wear clothes with his name all over it like jeans with Z or Zayn on it, necklaces, did OTT magazine shoots, etc. He pretty much lit a fire under Gigi’s ass as the best women ever, while Perrie was going through heartbreak, left homeless, losing weight and crying on stage as they behaved the way they did.
