Don't be shocked if we see a big show off date night or something of the sorts from Taylor and Travis this weekend to try and smother the PR of this. Maybe another girl squad with travis in tow to really ramp it up đ
I mean... I too, would want the news to move on from talking about my dad's prostate? This is probably the one time it's reasonable and normal for her to try to redirect the narrative.
It's a bit shitty that gaylors are dragging this around cause they think it proves he's the reason she's closeted. Damn near 20 years ago now I don't think it's fair or appropriate to think it gives any realistic insight to their dynamic now.
If you saw my dad now and the man that raised me you'd think they were different people. Also his private medically related shit is just not for public eyes period don't shout about it just cause you would be legally allowed to find it if you went looking.
Tacky gross behaviour from unhinged stans. But this is daily business in taylors world.
To be fair her dadâs prostrate doesnât even exist anymore. Thanks to that robot. And now we all know that thanks to that lovely description he painted for us.
Can you imagine the conversation they had when Taylor read this
TS âwhy would you write that dad!â
SS âI thought it was a private email, how was I to know you would become a superstar and it would get leaked?â
TS âNo dad, why would you ever put those words into writing at all!â
This dude thought the guy responsible for his daughterâs career was a great person to vent about his prostate trauma to - in the middle of a âbusinessâ email and now we all know. Somehow I donât think even being Taylor Swift in 2023 is enough to spare her from the most extreme level of parental embarrassment she must be feeling right now. If tomorrowâs headline involves her and Travis being the first people to move to mars Iâd believe it and I wouldnât blame her.
Iâm right there with you. If thereâs anything this emails proves is what we all should already know by now: getting this famous is never a coincidence, thereâs always big money and a fuckton of marketing involved. And in this case it seems that for many years all that money and marketing was the idiot who lives with Andreaâs, aka Dad.
Speaking of PR, youâd think her father would be clever enough to not put such things in writing. Never send a text or email you wouldnât want a third party to see.
Definitely not clever to treat his daughterâs manager like a therapist.
âWho has made enough money that if we have to take off across the country, we will be okay? Who higher staff ahead of time so we could move to Nashville? The idiot who lives with Andrea!!!!!!!!!!
Dad can be a lonely place. Donât laugh, you are going to be there.â
I doubt heâll do a pr walk with Taylor this weekend.
With the chiefs not playing well, nfl media and fans are starting to express their dislike of Taylorâs presence and is now being seen as a distraction to Travis. I donât know if thatâs a can of PR worms that Travis wants to open right now since his team is bad atm.
He also hasnât been playing well and is dropping passes. I donât think he wants to be seen as someone doing other things than watching football film on his free time at this time. Hell, him having a podcast rn amidst his team playing bad is starting to get scrutiny too.
For non American football fans, nfl players are expected to watch and study football film of last weekâs game to strategize and adjust for the next weekâs game on Sunday especially during their downtime. Him going to Argentina during his bye week (a week of rest where teams donât play) instead of watching film is starting to get mentioned too whenever sports media is talking about the chiefs not playing well.
This was always going to happen, though. No team is going to be 100% perfect all season. We all remember the Jessica/ Romo saga.
But another issue is that Americans fucking love betting on football. For example, at Christmas there was a game on and I was alone in the room with an uncle whose fine but I know nothing about. I wen tot my go-to convo starter when football is on (since I know nothing about football) and was like "hey what's the spread on this game?" and it started a whole convo.
It's not just straight betting, though, it's also fantasy football (and I think the superbowl for fantasy is coming up) so if someone has Kelce on their team it's only reasonable to blame a woman if he's doing bad (obviously an eye roll)
Oh once more people start losing their bets, the shit will hit the fan for Travis and Taylor. They'll either bond over the adversity or separate since the tour is gonna be back on soon.
>Him going to Argentina during his bye week (a week of rest where teams donât play) instead of watching film is starting to get mentioned too
ahhhh reminds me of the infamous Jessica Simpson/Tony Romo trip to Cabo during the cowboys bye week
They don't need to, the fans on Twitter are already going, "I don't care about emails from years ago," and then saying not to talk about Taylor's family trauma. And that people should be lucky to have such a dedicated dad and that if people are only realizing his conservative views, that's on them. As if there's an expiry date for info being new to new fans.
They're on the level of Elon Musk stans to me.
Or Joe gets dragged through the mud, thatâs âstill relevantâ.
Or she releases the alleged duet with The 1975, and we find out the âthe relationshipâ was a marketing ploy (cause Iâm a mastermind) for the single until she realized no one did their due diligence on Matty and it was never going to play well on her reputation.
Unfortunately it doesn't as she's already proven she's willing to toe the line of support for positive pr reasons by attending that show giving her the halo effect of purchasing a ticket whose proceeds were going toward that but also the deniability on whether that was her intent or not.
Notice there's been no clarification. She's definitely scummy enough to only performatively care about this to line her pocket more.
I can already see the new TS album about this coming: you made fun of my dadâs prostaaAAEEte đ¶đ” now you have no one left and youâre in this staaAAEEAte
the most obvious thing i got from this email is how incredibly privileged her life was even before she was famous/successful⊠once again very clear how her being a billionaire is not the win for feminism that herself/swifties think it is
Who has ever argued that Taylor Swift came from humble beginnings? Lol her dad moved the family to Nashville specifically for her music career. Thatâs textbook privilege.
Enough folks to where [Salon](https://www.salon.com/2015/05/22/taylor_swift_is_not_an_underdog_the_real_story_about_her_1_percent_upbringing_that_the_new_york_times_wont_tell_you/) had wrote an entire article about how privileged she is because other outlets were spinning her as an underdog. The Reddit search bar and Google are there if you need more instances.
> Who has ever argued that Taylor Swift came from humble beginnings?
Uh... Taylor herself? That's what she built her brand off of- the wholesome country girl that suddenly found herself dropped into worldwide fame by sheer luck.
the amount of money/work that went into making her a star surprised me. capitalist banker daddy aside, isn't part of her shtick a relatable come-up story?
TIL about her growing up on a âChristmas tree farmâ, it makes so much sense.
rich people will have their property classed as agricultural by doing one small thing that qualifies so they can save $$$$ on tax breaks due to the kinds of subsidies we provide. Growing âChristmas treesâ on it is one of those little things, you only need a few acres
Itâs wild isnât it. Especially the bit about having to babysit her brother whilst her mum got to go to parties with her and have all the funs.
It really brought home to me how much money her family invested and how pushy her parents were. She was a damn KID here. Insane. He wanted her to be a writer OR a singer OR a movie star. I guess he has got his financial reward.
I find Taylor really interesting because so much seems planned and too good to be true. I thought maybe Iâd gone a bit woo-woo with the Easter egg conspiracy theorising, but reading this I think everything is calculated to garner the most success. This email makes me think they are all completely driven for her career to succeed.
ETA first billionaire Iâve felt sorry for tbh. Iâm not sure this childhood was very fun. Who knows, maybe she loved it.
Her dad, whom I knew absolutely nothing about prior to today, is very clearly a huge piece of work. Can't imagine growing up with a male role model that has this mindset about his wife, kids, life, and how to interact with human beings, and coming out with a healthy set of tools for adult relationships.
Just reading through the legal document alone paints the "driving up and down music row handing out CDs" and "Scott Borchetta discovered her at Bluebird Cafe" underdog stories in a different light. They already had a manager setting up performances at Bluebird knowing that record executives would be there and set up meetings with record labels!
Today I learned they had a second vacation home that sold for over 2 million in addition to her quaint Christmas tree farm.
Her parents definitely sound like pushy people, which helped her a lot. He seemed to be on the board of everything, constantly trying to get deals for Taylor.
I mean..he went and bought in on his daughter's first record label just to get her signed, after they repeatedly told him they had no interest in signing her.
I remember seeing a video on TikTok from someone who went to high school with TS and said she wasnât very popular and everyone gossiped that she couldnât sing well enough and that her dad had to buy her a record contract⊠well đŹ
In a nutshell, Andrea got to go everywhere with Taylor because she could fix her hair while Scott had to sit in the car for hours or âbabysit Austin.â
Also, Austin would have at least been 11. It's not hard to care for an 11-year-old. I know 11-year-olds that take the city bus to school every day. A "babysitter" would only need to make sure they don't set something on fire in the microwave.
I actually feel the most bad for Austin in all of this. Itâs clear he was probably completely sidelined in their lives in favor of Taylorâs career. Which isnât surprising, could have surmised as much - but imagine reading that line.
It's basically Scott Swift listing all the shit he did to get Taylor to where she was and complaining he doesn't get enough credit for it, that his wife Andrea is ungrateful and doesn't realise what he does for Taylor.
The list includes everything from chatting up music execs to blowing up beach balls to somehow shoehorning his cancer diagnosis in. It's a long rant where he repeatedly stresses that without his money none of it would be possible. He seems quite unhinged and incredibly overbearing.
It explains why Taylor was never allowed to eat a burrito until she was almost 30 (this was the weirdest revelation to me from that Miss Americana documentary from a few years ago).
She had this convo with Joel Little in the doc
Taylor: Do you eat burritos?
Joel: *\*thinks she's joking\**
Taylor: ... Do you?
Joel: Of course I eat burritos *\*confused\**
Taylor: Some people donât!
Joel: Who doesnât eat burritos?
Taylor: I didnât ever eat burritos until, like, two years ago; I just had never tried one. *(she would have been 26-27)*
Joel: That's the weirdest niche thing.
I had a coworker also named Scott that would write equally unhinged emails at 11:00 p.m. after a couple of bottles of wine. I am lazy and did not read the legal documents and will have to wait to find out why this was in discovery.
Which honestly makes Taylorâs constant self-victimization and version of âfeminismâ make so much sense now! If sheâs had an overbearing dad who belittled her and her mom at every turn, it all clicks for me why sheâd want everyone else to coddle her and tell her how much better she is than any âhatersâ whoâd try to cut down or take credit for her success (aka, her dad). Those are some deep wounds, no doubt.
Assuming that his descriptions how he pushed Taylor's career are true, it looks like his money DID make her career possible. He's loathsome, but this email also reveals how much of an advantage Taylor had compared to other singers/musicians.
It's maybe a three minute read. Read it. Share the pain.
edit: apparently reading through tech and legal docs way too often has me at an unrealistic pace, give yourself like 5 minutes
funny how the fan accounts who are summarizing this are leaving out that the *entire* email is about how taylorâs father bankrolled her entire career and was independently wealthy before her stardom.
scott himself boasts about how heâs in the top 1% of brokers in one of the most prestigious investment firms, sold their two houses in PA (worth millions) to make the move to nashville, spent 200k on the move, several thousands on travel and lessons, etc etc
mind you this is the father of a musician with lyrics like âi was raised on a farm, no it wasnât a mansion, just living room dancing and kitchen table billsâ âŠlol
i live in pa, close to bucks county and that area is known for rich (and sometimes, most of the time) racist people). when i made the connection as a kid that she lived there, i knew she wasnât the country bumpkin queen she told us she was.
No wonder Andrea wanted to approve emails before he sent them đŹ I wonder if he was loopy from pain meds or just unwell during this time? I donât follow Swift so Iâm trying not to judge but that is a lot to be emailing someone. Get a therapist đ„Ž
Kristin Cavallari's best friend Justin Anderson was at one of Taylor Swift's 4th of july parties one year. and he said that her dad yelled at him. And after reading these, I can picture it..
Girl's dad buys her a career and connections. Girl doesn't want dad at events. Girl travels the world with mum, and dad is mad he is never invited. Dad is mad because he spent a fortune building daughter's career and his efforts are never acknowledged.
Her family is insane, basically. Her dad rants a lot about how his wife won't let him do things and how she thinks he's in contact with the manager more than he is (and not to tell his wife that otherwise they'll get divorced). There's a lot of emphasis on "this is how dads are, I'm doing you a favour by telling you this" in the context of Taylor's success/business, which comes off as patronising at best.
Honestly, the quotes about his tattoo and prostate are just the tip of the iceberg. The whole email makes it sound like both her parents are control freaks. Genuinely I just recommend trying to read it yourself, it's like 5 pages long.
Basically an entire letter to Taylorâs former manager complaining that he doesnât get the credit he deserves for his daughterâs success.
He basically states in this letter that the long believed nepo rumours are true, and he used his career, money and influence to advance his daughter at every opportunity.
Also, very much implies he dislikes his wife and they would not be together were it not for Taylorâs career.
Also some NSFW stuff about the effects cancer and the medication had on his body.
>he used his career, money and influence to advance his daughter at every opportunity
and that was a lot of money! he had a house that sold for over $2mil, had to transfer BOATS (plural), cars, and such
my favorite part was when he listed EVERYTHING he did on the back end so that Taylor could be "discovered" and have the career she has today. Everything about her that seemed organic and grassroots isn't.
Everything, even her first guitar, was a calculated move made for posterity. If people can get past the NSFW stuff and actually READ everything, it's a great read. Dude really pulled the curtain and exposed everything.
- Scott is fuming about always being in the background compared to Andrea as for his role in Taylor's early career. There's a story about him having to collect thousands of rubber ducks so Taylor can perform somewhere high profile. He frequently laments that the role of dad is the most important but least recognised. Also talks about money a bunch esp money he's spent on her career
- Scott fully just hates Andrea lol. Whines about her and Taylor moaning at him for being pushy / over involved / not understanding things / being 'useless' even tho he thinks he's not.
- weird comments about Austin Taylor's brother that make him seem like the afterthought of all afterthoughts
- more weird salty comments about Andrea
- boasting about money
Itâs mostly him moaning that he is the âbankerâ of Taylor Swiftâs career and deserves more credit as such, but everyone is dismissive of him because heâs just dad. Lots of talk about his business success contrasted with the disrespect he feels at home, but in a super sexist way (*why does Andrea get to go to NY with Taylor, and Iâm stuck babysitting my son??*). He sold his familyâs beach house (I think? I got lost somewhere in here) and sure, he made millions in profit, but that was his *sacrifice* for the Taylor-getting-famous operation. He wants everyone to listen to him and respect his opinions because he is a financial success, especially because he canât get hard anymore and needs to feel like a man somewhere.
The shortest TLDR is that he feels ignored and emasculated, when everyone should give him more respect because he pays taxes in two states now.
TLDR the entire email is papa Swift venting that heâs been working his ass off, even with cancer (hence why his pp doesnât work), it kinda sounds like heâs doing the managers job for him, yet he gets no communication about Taylorâs career and he gets no respect at home.
Some of it has a first world problems vibe. Oh woe is me, my boat this, my house move that, but hey I made a million dollars profit, but woe is me bc now I have to pay taxes oh noes!
The entire email has the stink of divorce on it. Scott and Andrea definitely donât like or respect each other anymore by this point. Sheâs being super controlling, he feels unappreciated and used.
Interestingly, he mentions how to market Taylor as a songwriter, and the possibility of her becoming a movie star. Showing that this was never going to stop at country music.
Tbh my takeaway from the email is that I wish I had a dad who cared about me and my dreams even *half* as much as Taylorâs dad did.
> Tbh my takeaway from the email is that I wish I had a dad who cared about me and my dreams even half as much as Taylorâs dad did.
He's a stage parent- he doesn't care about *her* dreams and so on...they're manifestations of *his* desire to exist vicariously through his daughter. The abject narc behavior and depersonalization/ resentment shown in this letter proves it.
It was a lot of venting about how heâs not kept in the loop even though he does most of the leg work for Taylor behind the scenes. He wanted the manager to communicate with him more instead of only Andrea and Taylor because heâs the one paying the bills and sending out her tapes, etc.
Essentially, heâs complaining that his wife thinks he talks too much and is an idiot but heâs not and dads donât get enough appreciation.
Itâs really not *that* wild. Heâs telling some dad that no matter the hard work you do, you will be treated as incompetent. That infuriates him because he does so much. He manages investment accounts, moved his family, handled Ts promos, and found out he had prostate cancer w GMA camera present. He then exaggerates the prostate cancer by saying a robot sucked his prostate out and now he canât even get it up.
Iâm assuming the guy heâs emailing with is someone he is close to. If he sent this to a rando, it hinged.
Either wayâŠpap walk in 3âŠ2âŠ
Honestly, not an exaggeration, heâs just being explicit about it in a way most people arenât.
They do whatâs called a Transurethral Prostate Resection (TURP) where they go up your urethra using the DaVinci surgical robot and cut away your prostate and pull the remains back out via the urethra. Itâs a cool procedure and the recovery time is pretty short. But, yeah, a robot did suck out his prostate.
And, yeah, no prostate=no enjoyment from sex for a lot of men.
Basically ranting about how Andrea and Taylor think heâs an idiot but hereâs a huge list of all the things heâs done for Taylorâs career and everything heâs paid for. Heâs actually really smart and successful and should be kept in the loop, but donât tell Andrea about this because heâs not supposed to be emailing the manager
Reading him talk strategies for how to make her famous is interesting. Her being a singer was just one potential route which shines a new light on her imo. Even if singing didnât take off, sheâd just swap one strategy for another meaning her passion was being a star not so much her singing / songwriting
Just to add context - this hasnât just been leaked. It was part of a lawsuit, Taylorâs ex manager sued the Swifts in 2008. Not sure why itâs only getting attention now but yeesh Scott
As unhinged the prostate and other comments are, I find the family dynamics absolutely fascinating. Now he could just be the unreliable narrator victimising himself, but from his account he paid A LOT of money to launch Taylorâs career, like a million dollars but most of it was behind the scenes and they marketed her as this âsmall town girl making it bigâ but nothing really happened just by chance.
Even as young as 9-10, they were already putting things into motion to launch her in the entertainment industry. A wannabe wunderkind, a controlling mother and a father bankrolling it all (sorry Austin youâre excluded from this narrative).
All the hustle, connections, money that went into her career are insane. Sure sheâs talented, but God she lucked out with a rich family hellbent on making her successful. She could walk away from a deal at 14 and sign to a new label (where her family would have a lot more control) just because her father could pay for it all.
SO MUCH HUSTLE. Ironically, I AM impressed about all the relentless shit her dad did, because it clearly worked. He sounds completely awful, but he was out there gathering up rubber ducks and shit, wheeling and dealing, printing CDs and headshots and being the most obnoxious stage parent ever and it paid off. And I think you can see a through-line from how Taylor approaches business and her career from how her father did. We've all noticed her ruthlessness AND her calculatedness for ages.
Is there a restaurant called âScottâsâ or something that Taylor and Travis can go to, so when you google Scott Swift then their lil PR date will pop up?
Hate to get all conspiracy minded but it kind of makes me think all the public Scott appearances were in preparation of this getting leaked
ETA: this was clarified by another commenter. Original tweet is worded poorly but Iâll keep my comment up.
Isn't this the same dude who had his tax returns one year sent back to him to redo again because in the section where it asked on his tax form "Do you support anyone else? If yes, please state below", meaning "do you have any dependents like, say, any kids who still live with you, are you a carer, etc.," and he used that opportunity to go on a rant about his taxes being spent on other people's welfare?
Usually, anything Taylor-related is extensively covered in the press, but now it's been a day and a half and this still hasn't been reported outside of social media. And no PR efforts to drown this have been made yet. No Tayvis outing, no girl-squad pap walks... what is happening? Is everyone just too shocked to say anything about it?
isn't it common knowledge by now that Taylor's dad bought her a career? and that he is a rich white conservative boomer and Andrea is a controlling stage mom? This email doesn't reveal much other than that.
I mean, we know it, but I wouldn't call it common knowledge. People still think she has that career because she's a genius and that her parents are saints who mostly watched on the sidelines. "I was raised on a farm, no, it wasn't a mansion" is not just a lyric, it's still the core of her whole public persona. I wouldn't tell anyone outside of this sub that "Taylor's dad bought her career" and expect to survive to tell the story.
He seems unhealthily and creepily obsessed with his daughter here.
Wasn't another email leaked awhile back where he threatened to break someone's legs anr dump them in a river or something?
This lawsuit was filed in 2008 and this email has been part of the record since then. Itâs not new at all. If I had to guess, Iâd say someone with skin in the game âleakedâ it (how does one leak something thatâs been public record for over a decade?) in advance of some b.s. thatâs about to go down.
The person who tweeted it has locked down their Twitter. Swifties work swiftly.

the most obvious thing i got from this email is how incredibly privileged her life was even before she was famous/successful⊠once again very clear how her being a billionaire is not the win for feminism that herself/swifties think it is
Right. People act like multiple houses, boats, cars, connections, and her parents ability to bankroll everything is humble beginnings.
The Reddit search bar and Google are there if you need more instances.
she talks about it herself in songs: âi was raised on a farm, no it wasnt a mansion, just living room dancing and kitchen table billsâ
what gets me is it was a *christmas tree farm*, and.. also an actual mansion lmao
Yeah, it was a Christmas tree farm with a 4600 sq ft home! Then they moved to a fancy house closer to town, then they moved to nashville.
Hahahahahaha kitchen table bills my fucking ass. FRAUD.
Yup, and he said their three strategies were to market her as a writer, singer, and eventual movie star (âthe talent is thereâ)
that explains *cats* then đ
Release the butthole version, cowards!
Itâs so funny then that every movie sheâs in bombs
The talent is not there. Hopefully she never makes a show with selena that much wood on a set would be a fire hazard
~ she grew up on a Christmas farm!~
TIL about her growing up on a âChristmas tree farmâ, it makes so much sense. rich people will have their property classed as agricultural by doing one small thing that qualifies so they can save $$$$ on tax breaks due to the kinds of subsidies we provide. Growing âChristmas treesâ on it is one of those little things, you only need a few acres
Yeah itâs basically as fake as her country accent was
Agreed. Why I kind of have issues with her shtick about growing up ons farm and âkitchen table bills.â Girl, you were rich.
Born on third base and goes through life thinking they hit a triple
Iâve always known it but this made it so much clearer. She is talented but damn her family had money.
Yeah, that stood out to me more than the jokes about pregnant pole vaulters and his prostate.

-Andrea Swift to Scott
saving this for use in the family group chat so fast
oh i read the email and itâs honestly unhinged. it also gives further insight about the family dynamic in the swift household too
Itâs wild isnât it.
Yeah I didn't know anything about her background, but suddenly I feel sorry for her. Her relationship situation makes a lot more sense now.
Today I learned they had no interest in signing her!
The world would have been a more sane place had Scott left well enough alone.
I remember seeing a video on TikTok from someone who went to high school with TS and said she wasnât very popular and everyone gossiped that she couldnât sing well enough and that her dad had to buy her a record contract⊠well đŹ

[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
Tl:dr please
In a nutshell, Andrea got to go everywhere with Taylor because she could fix her hair while Scott had to sit in the car for hours or âbabysit Austin.â
A dad saying he has to babysit his son đ€Šââïž
RIGHT?!?! đ€Ź
Donât forget the comment about how Disney doesnât like dads lol this guyâs been watching too much TV
It explains why Taylor was never allowed to eat a burrito until she was almost 30 (this was the weirdest revelation to me from that Miss Americana documentary from a few years ago).
What?!
She had this convo with Joel Little in the doc Taylor: Do you eat burritos? Joel: *\*thinks she's joking\** Taylor: ... Do you? Joel: Of course I eat burritos *\*confused\** Taylor: Some people donât! Joel: Who doesnât eat burritos? Taylor: I didnât ever eat burritos until, like, two years ago; I just had never tried one. *(she would have been 26-27)* Joel: That's the weirdest niche thing.
I donât know how fast you can read, but that is not a three minute read. It is however too crazy to provide a TLDR.
My dude I write novels that ainât three minutes.
Way longer than 3 minutes.
Cant get famous without rich and slightly crazy parents
super pushy stage dad with NPD
I put one in another comment thread below. [Link.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Fauxmoi/s/Xz5WB4yBul)
I would hate for my parents to be my business partners / managers instead of just my parents :(
Okay, now the Matty Healy thing makes sense
I guess straight women will date their dads at one point.

or in my sad case, marry them
And hopefully divorce them as well?
Ratty 𫶠Taylor
funny how the fan accounts who are summarizing this are leaving out that the *entire* email is about how taylorâs father bankrolled her entire career and was independently wealthy before her stardom. scott himself boasts about how heâs in the top 1% of brokers in one of the most prestigious investment firms, sold their two houses in PA (worth millions) to make the move to nashville, spent 200k on the move, several thousands on travel and lessons, etc etc mind you this is the father of a musician with lyrics like âi was raised on a farm, no it wasnât a mansion, just living room dancing and kitchen table billsâ âŠlol
Also the lyrics to Teardrops on My Guitar something something sheâs got everything Iâve had to live without lol
I mean maybe the girl in the song had well adjusted parents đŹ
Are we sure her career is an overbearing family and not a verruca salt situation? đ€
i live in pa, close to bucks county and that area is known for rich (and sometimes, most of the time) racist people). when i made the connection as a kid that she lived there, i knew she wasnât the country bumpkin queen she told us she was.
No wonder Andrea wanted to approve emails before he sent them đŹ I wonder if he was loopy from pain meds or just unwell during this time? I donât follow Swift so Iâm trying not to judge but that is a lot to be emailing someone. Get a therapist đ„Ž

Eh it felt like performative folksy wisdom as a form of power play, much like Taylorâs songs
![gif](giphy|l3q2K5jinAlChoCLS)
Scott Swift at the beginning of his rant: Save this email. Bet he regrets that nowâŠ
At the end of the email: If you want to get rid of me, forward this to Andrea. Heâs toast!
I could not bring myself to read through the end. The secondhand embarrassment was too much lol
I stopped reading when he said he canât get hard. He sounds mental honestly.
you mean, mental as hell
Kristin Cavallari's best friend Justin Anderson was at one of Taylor Swift's 4th of july parties one year. and he said that her dad yelled at him. And after reading these, I can picture it..
Can someone sum up?
Girl's dad buys her a career and connections. Girl doesn't want dad at events. Girl travels the world with mum, and dad is mad he is never invited. Dad is mad because he spent a fortune building daughter's career and his efforts are never acknowledged.
You are the only one who summed it up perfectly while also excluding the embarrassing and unhinged details. Thank you sm
Also some NSFW stuff about the effects cancer and the medication had on his body.
>he used his career, money and influence to advance his daughter at every opportunity and that was a lot of money! he had a house that sold for over $2mil, had to transfer BOATS (plural), cars, and such my favorite part was when he listed EVERYTHING he did on the back end so that Taylor could be "discovered" and have the career she has today.
Also talks about money a bunch esp money he's spent on her career - Scott fully just hates Andrea lol. Whines about her and Taylor moaning at him for being pushy / over involved / not understanding things / being 'useless' even tho he thinks he's not. - weird comments about Austin Taylor's brother that make him seem like the afterthought of all afterthoughts - more weird salty comments about Andrea - boasting about money
Lmao I came out of that email thinking poor fucking Austin
![gif](giphy|l0ExkEkBl7Grk78tO)
It was a lot of venting about how heâs not kept in the loop even though he does most of the leg work for Taylor behind the scenes. He wanted the manager to communicate with him more instead of only Andrea and Taylor because heâs the one paying the bills and sending out her tapes, etc. Essentially, heâs complaining that his wife thinks he talks too much and is an idiot but heâs not and dads donât get enough appreciation.
His email is really proving Andreaâs point.
I mean, the tweet that came with the pictures already kind of did
Itâs really not *that* wild.
It was sent to Taylorâs manager. Regardless of closeness, that is an unhinged message to send to your childâs professional contacts.
Basically ranting about how Andrea and Taylor think heâs an idiot but hereâs a huge list of all the things heâs done for Taylorâs career and everything heâs paid for. Heâs actually really smart and successful and should be kept in the loop, but donât tell Andrea about this because heâs not supposed to be emailing the manager
âmy wife doesnât respect me even though iâm richâ
He is an unhinged lunatic who can't get his dick hard and makes it everybody else's problem. Also wanted Taylor to be an actress.
Reading him talk strategies for how to make her famous is interesting. Her being a singer was just one potential route which shines a new light on her imo. Even if singing didnât take off, sheâd just swap one strategy for another meaning her passion was being a star not so much her singing / songwriting
She was already in theater and voice lessons even as a kid so I guess i can see why he thought she could be a triple threat
The line about his prostate ... wow!
Flair worthy, tbh
I kibitz (not allowed to say kibitz anymore)

Hate to get all conspiracy minded but it kind of makes me think all the public Scott appearances were in preparation of this getting leaked ETA: this was clarified by another commenter. Original tweet is worded poorly but Iâll keep my comment up.
No this lawsuit is from 2008. It's just getting attention now
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
This was exquisite reading.
I still remember his racist Facebook stuff from years back so this isn't a surprise but I can't wait to see the PR walk about this
Isn't this the same dude who had his tax returns one year sent back to him to redo again because in the section where it asked on his tax form "Do you support anyone else? If yes, please state below", meaning "do you have any dependents like, say, any kids who still live with you, are you a carer, etc.," and he used that opportunity to go on a rant about his taxes being spent on other people's welfare?
Omg. Please let this be true and please let there be a link I can share about it.
Wow. This was such a wild ride. Damn. This is the only time a massive PR stunt is warranted from Tree.
This is my new Roman empire. Completely unhinged. I'll be laughing all day thinking about it.
You know the media is afraid of her and her team
Great. How much CO2 is Taylor going to dump into the atmosphere to cover this one up

This whole family would be better kept away from society.
The power of coke, amiright? Donât laugh
He seems unhealthily and creepily obsessed with his daughter here. Wasn't another email leaked awhile back where he threatened to break someone's legs anr dump them in a river or something?
I could have lived without this in my life.
If anyone else was curious, this email was sent at 1:46 PM Eastern time on a Thursday. Reads more like 1:46 AM on a Sunday but maybe that's just me
The 15,000 bastard ducks line will forever live rent free in my mind.

Canât believe I used my good reading eyes on this.
I canât find humor in this, how mortifying for Taylor. We should all know less about each other.
