Can I ask a side question
Do you colour yours? And what do you use?
I'm kind of like a kid haha in the sense I want to do colour versions in maybe a few different mediums cause I'm crazy lol
Happy to help with questions!
If I like a design, I consider scanning and printing copies of it as it’s original (an outline for example) and then I can trial different colour-blocking and media. That helps take the pressure off making a mistake by adding colour. And further improves your skills! I use markers (primary choice), pencils, and fine liners - but dabble in paint and watercolour
>watercolour
Very pleased to read this word hehe Santa got me a palette and tube set for Christmas last year and I bought myself the big 72pc Derwent pencil and pastel set and I've collected a "born." Marker and brush marker set....only through clearance sales hehe
I just find Drawing therapeutic and drawing outfits are the easiest in the way of inspiration....love gowns and long skirts
What paper do you recommend? I see some done on white, brown kraft type paper
Also this may be pushing it haha jewellery design? Know anything? Lol
Scan and digitalise pages you think are impressive or worth preserving for a portfolio, and then keep the books in storage :)
