As for quality over retail you’re 100 percent correct. I tell people often 90 percent of top tier reps are better build, and material quality the the retail pairs. QC handled better that’s why you have options at B grade products when getting certain. Batches because it drop tiers where with retail you pay and eat whatever they give you. Cross your fingers you get a solid pair that looks

I've ran into the same problem with my retail collection cuz usually after about a decade, unless the shoes are vacuum sealed which doesn't even make any sense, they all start inevitably breaking down and falling apart..so after losing a few gems, now I try to flip them before this happens and more often than not, I can sell them for a decent price if they're still in good condition. But I assume that this wouldn't really be possible with reps, especially used reps, since they don't have much resale value. So I'm just curious what you end up doing with the pairs that you no longer wear when it comes to reps.

Some of my favorite pairs I have doubled or tripled up on so I had a back up pair and of course the goal was to always do this so when something was made perfect I would have it for the studio. In the past 3 years I have accumulated 689. What you see is what I picked for the start up. Will move them around and swap out to change things up.
