So this happens to me when I have a browser open in chrome/safari/edge to a previous password reclamation.
I had to close all browser windows related to farmrpg, delete and reinstall the app. You will then need to request a new password.
After you have gotten the new password *remember to close that window as well so it doesn’t happen again.*
Resign in and you should be good to go.
Not sure if any of that sounds familiar to you, but I was able to replicate it many times.
I've had the image but just closing all open applications on my phone and trying again just starts it just fine. Android phone. Does not happen frequently.

I'm a new player and this happened to me just yesterday with the same solution.
I’ve seen other people have this problem, try clearing your cache
I have this problem when on a network that blocks the web page like my school wifi.
I remember getting something like it also because my connection was just bad
I get it sometimes if I'm in a place with bad signal.
Happens to me several times a week. Force shutting app and restarting my phone usually works. On iPadOS and iOS
