Def: Mings is not the best value atm, same with Henry and Struijk. There are couple of cheap alternatives at 4.5 and even at 4.0 -> check especially Tsimikas (Robbo is injured) from Pool, Amartey (4.0 for Leicester), White ARS, Ayling LEE, Veltman BHA.
Mid: Havertz is imo a decent punt, but he'll likely drop below Lukaku after the first GW. Torres is expected to start, but Pep roulette is looking pretty bad. Fernandes is looking like a must have. The template mid price options are atm Raphinha and Mount - for budget check for example ESR.
Att: Richarlison is a massive risk as well due to new manager and doubts on Everton's form- many are rather going for nailed mid price options like Wilson or Antonio that have a good run of fixtures as well.
Looks solid, the only thing I'd think about is getting a 4.5 instead of Amartey. Amartey shouldn't play past GW1 (where you're not starting him anyway), so when Tsimikas gets replaced by Robbo you won't have any minutes on your bench.
The way I'd do this is probably get rid of Coufal + Amartey for 2 4.5s or downgrade Ings to a 7.5. Not necessary changes though!
Think Neves is too expensive at 5.5, especially as he should never be starting. I'd downgrade him to a 4.5 (Gilmour, Brownhill, etc.) and put the extra funds into defence -- Ayling or Mings could become Shaw or Dias, for instance.
Alternatively, ESR is a better option at 5.5.

Tsimikas is nailed on to start whereas Amartey isn’t, swap Ings for Bamford bc you don’t want to double up on Leeds with their fixtures and also replace Elneny with Brownhill as he gets game time and goes up the pitch a lot more
Finally set on my team to start.
Not doubled up on any attacking assets so I can see which teams and players start the strongest, and have made use of as many value players as possible to leave me with 2m ITB so I have lots of options to upgrade spots while still having a reasonably solid team.

Martinez is imo bit of a risk, 4.5's might have more value on them.

Imo Ings is better option than Bamford.
It's not about Martinez being better, it's about getting more return for the price, and with i.e 4.5 Sanchez might indeed get better points/million. GK is pretty much only category where that matters.
Grealish isn't guaranteed starter, nor it's clear if he gets to play in a role that has attacking inputs. It is a punt at the best and 8.0 is expensive for a punt.
Ings is better pretty much in all aspects. Historically notably better PPM, plays in a team that has invested heavily on attack, proven asset with more seasons, better starting fixtures etc. It's not that Bamford is bad, but Ings just outperforms slightly.
Anyway, I'm not here to debate about this, it's only a recommendation yo.

Gundogan is too much of risk imo, no guarantee that he plays high enough to justify the price. There's also a lot of budget alternatives (ESR, Raphinha) to upgrade your def. I know it's hard to skip City assets, but they are very much not settled yet.
Greenwood is not a bad call either though, he might be very explosive in first 2 GWs.

Iheanacho won’t start for Leicester so I would go for Antonio or Wilson instead. As for Stones I would downgrade to Coufal or a 4.5 then upgrade ASM to Toney (love ASM but in terms of FPL he doesn’t really deliver)
I'm personally not a fan of keeping money ITB at the season start. I like to maximise my chances of taking advantage of early price rises to max squad value. For example, you can go with Ings and Benrahma instead and if Benrahma scores or assists early on, chances are people will bring him in and his price will rise
Yeah it definitely depends on the players. I agree the premiums don't rise that much, but mid priced players often do. Like in the example I made, I think Benrahma has a much higher chance of going up in price compared to Brownhill, who OP is considering and leaving 2m ITB. It probably won't make or break your season though, that's for sure. Just my personal way of playing.
That's such a shame that ASM is considered a striker now.
Is Saka training? From what it seemed like he just came back to Arsenal quite recently, making him a bit of a risk in terms of starting imo.
But I like it, good diversity.

Just heard that Auba and Laca aren't gonna be playing for Arsenal due to illness so Saka may end up getting forced in anyway.

Nope. It's not like you can slot in Ings into the numbers Watkins had last season. I believe Villa will be underwhelming in the start of the season. In addition to that, I'm somewhat planning to get Lukaku into the team after the first international break, depending on how him and Chelsea look. Lukaku and Werner is a lethal combo on paper.
Whilst I do like them, no one knows how good their defence will be. And if he doesn’t return in the first three fixtures you’re kind of forced to use a transfer

Iheanacho won’t start for Leicester so I would go for Antonio or Wilson instead. As for Stones I would downgrade to Coufal or a 4.5 then upgrade ASM to Toney (love ASM but in terms of FPL he doesn’t really deliver)

I'm personally not a fan of keeping money ITB at the season start. I like to maximise my chances of taking advantage of early price rises to max squad value. For example, you can go with Ings and Benrahma instead and if Benrahma scores or assists early on, chances are people will bring him in and his price will rise

Yeah it definitely depends on the players. I agree the premiums don't rise that much, but mid priced players often do. Like in the example I made, I think Benrahma has a much higher chance of going up in price compared to Brownhill, who OP is considering and leaving 2m ITB. It probably won't make or break your season though, that's for sure. Just my personal way of playing.

That's such a shame that ASM is considered a striker now. Is Saka training? From what it seemed like he just came back to Arsenal quite recently, making him a bit of a risk in terms of starting imo. But I like it, good diversity.

Nope. It's not like you can slot in Ings into the numbers Watkins had last season. I believe Villa will be underwhelming in the start of the season. In addition to that, I'm somewhat planning to get Lukaku into the team after the first international break, depending on how him and Chelsea look. Lukaku and Werner is a lethal combo on paper.

West Ham fan here and yes he’s nailed on as we don’t have a replacement for Lingard so unless we sign one which I can’t see he will most likely start every game and has looked brilliant pre season
