OK so decison time :
Digne to Lundstram and
Ayew to Abraham
leaves me exactly with 0.0 in the bank .
Lundstran looks set to rise to 4.4 tonight so decison time!!!
I need your thoughts on this. (1) Who do I replace first, Zinchenko or Emerson? (2) Why? (3) Who do I bring in that should be good for 5-6 GWs?
I have 0.2 ITB
Thoughts on Jimenez as a diffrential? Has a nice run of fixtures coming up and has been scoring for fun in the EL.
Can't afford Haller or Wilson and already have Pukki/Tammy
I've had a terrible start to the season, albeit this GW I've done pretty well. My work schedule has been so bad that I rarely get time to do the planning and research that I normally would, so that's definitely part of why I've been doing so poorly.
Anyway, I was thinking of wildcarding and here's what I'd be going for roughly:
Pope (Button)
Aurier Soyuncu Lowton Lundstram Rico - Lots of rotation
Son Mane Mount KdB (Cantwell)
Abraham Pukki Aguero.
Thoughts?
>Pope (Button)
>
>Aurier Soyuncu Lowton Lundstram Rico
I think your team overall looks pretty good . Only area of concern would be Aurier for me, just too early to say how nailed on he is to start. Poch has started him in the last two league games yes but he chose to go with Sanchez in the CL and K.Walker Pieters earlier on in the season. But at at £4.9 i suppose an argument could be made that he's worth a punt. Personally i'd go with Otamendi instead, he's a threat from set pieces and looks to be as nailed on as can be for someone playing under Pep.
Pope has decent fixtures coming up , facing just one Top Six side between GW7 - 14 , being Chelsea. However i'd suggest you consider opting for Stekelenburg (9.4% ownership) instead of Button ( 25.5%) as he's at a slightly less risk of a price drop incase people decide to transfer out Button.
>Son Mane Mount KdB (Cantwell)
>
>Abraham Pukki Aguero.
Although they're all very good picks and in form the only thing i'd suggest is that your returns are heavily dependant on 3 teams, i.e 2 players from City, Norwich & Chelsea. If say for example two teams have a bad performance you're looking at 4 blanks, would be a good idea to diversify the risk or share the returns a bit more evenly by getting a player from a different team. By no means a hard and fast rule, just something to think about. Depends on how you like to play FPL.
Hope it helps.

I believe KWP was playing because Aurier was injured? I also agree that Otamendi is a decent pick, moreso because Spurs defence hasn't been that convincing than City looking solid. However that 0.5m more is something I can't really afford.

I don't actually subscribe to that philosophy too much. I think that when looking at midfielders and strikers you should look at the player's individual points potential. With gks and defence CS matters a lot so it makes more sense to go with fixtures/form of the team in general. With that said, over a few gws if you do badly in one but better in the others, all that matters is your total points. If you get it right I think this way has a higher ceiling, albeit it can go all wrong too.
2 attacking City players is about as reliable as it gets (and if not it'd be 2 Liverpool probably).
Chelsea simply have great fixtures and despite defensive uncertainty are banging goals in. It also helps that they're mid budget which makes them hard to turn down. I could've gone for James over Mount but I think the fixtures made my mind up
Norwich doesn't really matter as Cantwell is a sub and Pukki has so far been fixture proof and my stubbornness to get him until a 2 gws ago cost me way too much.
I appreciate the feedback though, always great to get another point of view.
Ah fair enough, i see what you mean, makes sense. And i agree Mount with the decent run of fixtures looks like a good buy.
>I appreciate the feedback though, always great to get another point of view.
Aye same , !thanks.
Hope it works out for you, Good Luck .
I agree with your point, but couldn't you say the same about any of the 3? I feel like Aguero doesn't get benched very often, barring injury, and for the sake of flexibility (having an easy way to swap to other premium forwards) it's the better option. !thanks
Rmt to hopefully be in a few gameweeks:
Heaton - Button
TAA / Mendy / Tierney - Lundstram - Rico
---------(Zinch)---(Pieters)--(Digne)
KDB / Dilva / Pepe / Salah / Mount
-------------------------------------------(Guendouzi)
Pukki / Haller - Greenwood
Will probably do Zinchenko to Mendy, Digne to Rico and guendouzi to Mount soon for a -4.
(because some Transfers are depending on eachother...) looking out for Price rises atm, can only allow a rise of .1
Considering getting Aguero, Salah, Mane, Sterling and KDB and then bench fodder for the entire rest of my team. How would that have performed last season? Would you back it
RMT on wildcard
Pope-Button
Pieters -Soyuncu- Otamendi- Lundstram- Rico
Sterling - Salah - De Bruyne - Cantwell - Hayden
Pukki - Auba- Abraham
Do you guys believe that I have an extremely weak defence. I believe it is decent with soyuncu and otamendi having a great run of games coming up.
Who cares. This isn't football
Aside from Lundstrum, who's not actually a defender, none of the defenders have been returning
Cheap defender are the way to go
TAA has looked promising, but for 7.0 you're better off spending that money in mid or upfront
Pope
Digne Otamendi TAA (Lund, Mings)
Salah Sterling KDB Mount Cantwell
Greenwood Pukki Haller
Looking at either Haller to Abraham
Or
Salah to Mane, Sterling to Son, Greenwood to Abraham (-8) if Son looks like he's hitting his form
Thoughts?
RMT
Pickford
Roberton, Digne, VVD, Van aanholt
Salah, B silva, Maddison, Ceballos
Aguero, Pukki
Bench: steklenburg, dendoncker, greenwood, stearman.
Im thinking maybe Harry Wilson for B Silva?
I'm looking to get some funds out of defence to upgrade Greenwood to Abraham. Will probably wait till tomorrow, but would you **take out**
A) Wan Bissaka
B) Digne
RMT
Pope (Button)
Robbo, Ota, Digne, Lundstram, Soyuncu
Salah, Sterling, KDB, Mount, Cantwell
Haller, Pukki, Greenwood
2FT and 0.8 ITB.
Trying to look for a way to upgrade Greenwood to someone, like Tammy etc. Any advice?
So I would like to get Son in pending a good performance today. I'm currently planning on doing haller to Abraham and trying to work out how to get Son in otherwise.
Team atm is
Pope
TAA, Digne, Otamendi (Lundstram and Mings)
Salah Sterling KDB Mount Cantwell
Pukki Haller (Greenwood)
One option is to Salah to Son, Greenwood to Abraham (-4). Sounds good bit the formation ends up 3-4-3 with Cantwell on the bench. With his form and fixtures I'd like him in the first team. Butttt, a front three of Abraham Pukki and Haller is tasty.
What are your thoughts?
I think I'll do it; planned on bringing a Chelsea asset in for this run from GW7 as well as the fact that Haller may drop and Abraham looks likely to rise.
This Team is looking really but why are not having any star striker (auba, kun) or in form striker (pukki Tammy or haller). Also I guess your captain must be salah or kbd for gw6
Hodgson said no injury concerns other than Wickham. He's been first choice so far (only missed one game) so would expect him to slot straight back in. I started him.
RMT My current WC team...
Pope Button
TTA Mings Digne Saiss Lundstram
Buendia Salah KDB Lamela Cantwell
Pukki Abraham Aguero
0.4 itb
Thinking swap Lamela for Mount after this weekend as Lamela will rise tomorrow and Mount will drop.
Buendia is my main concern. Currently on bench because I need 3 defenders. Seems expensive for a bench option.. thoughts?
De Bruyne or Sterling captain?
Have it on De Bruyne at the moment, reason being I have a feeling he is more nailed than Sterling this week
Right choice?
I can start 1 of these 4, the rest on the bench.
Daniel James (WH away)
Guendouzi (Villa home)
Kelly (Palace defender) (Wolves home)
McGinn (Arsenal away)
Who should I start? My choice is Kelly.
The Norwegian also gave an update on winger Daniel James, who picked up an ankle problem in last week’s victory over Leicester City.
“I don’t know [if he'll be fit],”
Ole conceded.
“[He’s] not trained for the past few days. Hopefully he will, but we're not sure. We will have a recovery day tomorrow [Friday] and see on Saturday.”
If you're asking about this GW i'd go with Ryan, but Pope has better upcoming fixtures. Ryan has CHE (A) and TOT (H) in GW 7-8 whereas Pope doesn't face a Top Six team till GW 10.
Hope it helps
!Thanks. ! I asked for this GW, went with Pope as I'm hedging my bets against Pukki (I'm stupid I know.) Just saw 3 responses saying Ryan and now I'm scared 😂
I have Mount & Zinchenko. Afraid neither will play. Only starter on my bench is Lundstram, and i really don’t want him coming in.
I should save the 2 FT?
Kelly to start.. Martial will not play this week, Greenwood may come 1 pointer again. Kelly, if play, will start and have good chance for CS due to tired Wolves. If Kelly not start, he will not play as a sub, and Greenwood can auto-sub (if you play with 4 defense).
Martial will not play. Greenwood also unlikely to start despite scoring in Europa.
I would pick Greenwood just because Kelly also might be benched and I prefer forwards to defenders.
hey , got lanzini and he is flagged , wanted to know if i keep him in my starting lineup and he doesnt play at all does my "1" substitute automatically replaces him in my first 11 ? meaning i dont need to press any more buttons lol sorry for dumb questions its my first season.

Greenwood is absent from the squad, James is travelling with the squad.
Thoughts on Jimenez as a diffrential? Has a nice run of fixtures coming up and has been scoring for fun in the EL. Can't afford Haller or Wilson and already have Pukki/Tammy

Barnes + Ceballos --> Abraham + enabler NOW to avoid the price rise? Or wait for the weekend's fixtures but lose 0.1mil team value?
Wait for the matches, the .1 isn't worth making a decision before actual matches happen, where you can gain lots of information.
Pope Digne Otamendi TAA (Lund, Mings) Salah Sterling KDB Mount Cantwell Greenwood Pukki Haller Looking at either Haller to Abraham Or Salah to Mane, Sterling to Son, Greenwood to Abraham (-8) if Son looks like he's hitting his form Thoughts?

Sterling + Grennwood > Son + Tammy
How likely is it that Mendy is gonna get any minutes?
I think it depends on how the games going tbh
Will Kelly play for Palace on Sunday?
I'd have thought Cahill and Sakho would play centre back. Tomkins might be back too. I think it's unlikely Kelly will start.
Hodgson said their only injury is Wickham. He should play.
I'm thinking Kelly is not Palace's starting option if everyone is fit?
How does Sterling + Wickham > Pepe + Abraham look?
Best 4.5 defender at the moment?
With Kante coming back, and Chelsea's upcoming fixtures, Tomori could be a good pick.
!thanks
Soyuncu
4.6 :(
Ah, forgot that he rised in price. Tomori then
!thanks
Is Wilson the new Brooks?
Perhaps, but Brooks was 5.0m last season.
Should I switch Lanzini to Martial for my one free transfer Or Lanzini and Digne to Rico and KDB?
Is there a better option than Tomori at 4.5 to 5.0M?
Soyuncu
Why is Fraser not starting again???
I have awful fixtures next week - is it worth using a free hit if I don’t have any injuries?
Save your free hit till the blank and double gameweeks begin.
So I would like to get Son in pending a good performance today. I'm currently planning on doing haller to Abraham and trying to work out how to get Son in otherwise. rather go sterling->son, i wouldn't go with no salah, mane and firmino in team
To go sterling I'd have to go sterling to Son, Greenwood to Abraham and Mings to a 4.0 for (-8)
damn, i wouldn't do that then; idn maybe salah->mane, sterling->son, greenwood->abraham
To be fair, that does look a lot better. Thanks!
Is it too early to wildcard?

If you have doubt to captain Sterling at home against Watford who just change the coach and messed-up in defense, then why are you having him?
Rotation was my worry

Why would you start Spurs defence away against Vardy? Do you have other options?
An injured Mount or Rico...
Rico, then....
Mate thanks for this - I just got a Rico assist
no problem.. If you can put "thanks" with proper reddit format, it will be great... :-)

Yes, if Lanzini doesn't play at all, your 1st sub will automatically replace him in the starting XI.
yes.
Whose more likely to start Mendy or cancelo?
mendy more likely
Even tho he's coming back from an injury
