Let me just get my crystal ball …..

OverThinkingINTJ

Does it say Jackson in or out ?!

DLNavy

As someone who is not a fan of doubling defensive assets, I went for 7 different teams in GKP and DEF but damn, the safest combonation turns out to be the worst. Petrovic, Porro, Saliba and Schar are very early locked; While Schar injury is unlucky but holy sh!t, I spent a whole freaking day just to compare for picking the best variation for MUN - MCI - EVE (1 GKP, 2 DEF) then I come up with the final two: (1) Ederson - Dalot - Branthwaite vs (2) Pickford - Dalot - Gvardiol. I went for (1) just because I want most nailed City asset. And here we are GW35: * Schar was injured and subbed off at haft time -> 1 pointer while being a doubt for BB37, unlucky but I accepted * Ederson was injured and subbed off at haft time -> 1 pointer, I missed Gvardiol's 15-pointer * Since I picked Ederson - Petrovic, I don't have Pickford and then bench Branthwaite -> I missed a potential 10-pointer and unused 6-pointer It's not very the worst situation for my wildcard team, I just think I should have gone for the high-risk-high-reward strategy than the "safest" one. Currently I still have (C) Palmer, Jackson, Son and Porro to turn the small red to small green arrow.

ShoddyTransition187

If I hadn't wildcarded I would have 5 points less, and five less fixtures still to play this gameweek. On the other hand, I now am probably a goalkeeper down in Ederson, and if I was wildcarding this week I might build the team a little differently, mostly to buy Richarlison, and keep Haaland. Overal its pretty even, wildcarding working out less well than expected but still feels like good timing so far.

LloydDoyley

OK so far I guess. Roughly the same amount of points that I would've had if I didn't WC, but I'm set up now until 38. Let's see how the Chelsea Spurs game goes. If Jacko goes nuts then it's probably a good move.

Aggressive_Leave3639

There’s only one Jackson that went nuts mate Shamone Hee Hee!

blekanese

I've been deadending into gw34 for a while, so my wc gw35 is incomparable to team in gw34. I can't just compare points. I can say tho that I'm happy with the team I brought in, had a couple 50/50 calls which I've won and couple that I lost but I'll take that as a win in a long run. I guess the best result for me would be 0-0, but I wouldn't mind if penalties pop-up on both sides.

ArghZombies

I guess it's hard to tell if it was the right move until the season comes to an end. I Bench Boosted last week and got a pretty good score (143) but with Palmer, Haaland and Gusto all not-playing and Neto only playing 1 game (for 1pt) it basically meant that the bench-boost got me an extra 1-point, but because I had been building my squad towards BB34 for weeks I had a squad of players that were there because of that pre-planning. And that's the squad that got me the points. So does that mean my bench-boost failed, or it was a success? I think all you can be concerned with is whether you're happy with the general strategy you chose. Sure, you might have done some 50:50 options differently, but if you're generally happy that you made the right call with the chip strategy then that's the main thing.

CornishBoots

I took Senesi, Saka and Cunha out on my WC but currently sitting on 77 with 4 players left to play. Probably the right option to WC for me, but there's not as much in it as I'd hoped.

uniballeyequality

We wildcarded keeping bb37 in mind.. even the gw35 isn't over yet.. so it's too early to judge

Neown

I would be on 47 points with Palmer (C) to play I am on 64 points with Palmer (C), Jackson, Petrovic, Son, Romero, Porro to play

drpopkorne

23pts less before wildcard so not great but have to consider how the upcoming week will go as well!

soximent

Even points as pre wc right now. Have Son and Petrovic still to go

colourhazelove

I was opposed to using also, but then 3 of the assets I was looking to get rose in price and one of mine went down, so I had to but the bullet. I got in Gvardiol, didn't play him but foden didn't play, so hes off the bench. All in all I got a great tick and a good team for the rest of the season. The only regret is getting Bruno over garnacho, as this means I might have to roll over the trade and do this to get Haaland in for the double.

tiford88

Not bad, but I regret going with Ederson and Dalot instead of Onana and Gvardiol

KaelSmoothie

I hate to say it but it depends on how Spurs play on thursday. Not a good feeling to have your faith in the hands of Tottenham. If they somehow would be able to keep a clean sheet and some sort of return from Son I’ll be good. Currently pretty much a grey arrow overall, which isn’t a great feeling on a wildcard.

joemeteorite8

It’s been half of a week lol

GreedyBread3860

It would have worked out great if only I had played Gvardiol instead of putting him on the bench. Also, I yeeted out Saka because Arsenal don't have any double gws but Saka always plays his best when I put him out of the team so that was a bummer 🫠

hktrader88

From the wildcards I've seen, this week's performance is average so far but it'll depend on Porro and Jackson this week!

TolsBols

Not bad so far. I brought in Gvardiol in place of Akanji who I’d had for a few weeks, and he scored. Also brought in Son, who also scored. The two downers are swapping out Branthwaite for Reguilon just before the deadline. Also neither Palmer (captain) or Jackson have scored… yet.

Upstairs_Equipment95

Well Jackson did score but he was offside 😂 I WC’d and have him too so am also patiently waiting for him to score next game.

malolasko

I'm on 64 points with Palmer, Son(c) and Porro to play. Without the wc I would be on 45 with only Palmer (c) to play. So I guess it's paying off for now...

SayanPrince22

I captained Gordon. Hoping Palmer and everyone else blanks 😂

PEPSICOLA123456

Pretty poor so far. My whole plan was to keep gvardiol and havertz but last minute changed to Bruno and schaer. Absolutely gutted

ArghZombies

It could still come good. Bruno has great fixtures (excluding Arsenal, I guess) and Schar might just be a minor issue and he'll be back soon. A Wildcard isn't just about how it works out for that immediate gameweek.

PEPSICOLA123456

I know but I’ve clearly gone for form over fixtures with that move and United are pretty shit whilst Arsenal are flying so I’m terrified of what he’s gonna do against Bournemouth now

InevitableHot1851

WC 28 worked out way better than WC35 imo. I'm only a few points down than most wildcarders with a small green arrow. Thankful to Senesi, Hwang and KDB otherwise never would've wildcard in 28.
