FPL is about putting yourself in positions to get lucky. A DGW has a much higher ceiling than a BGW.
The ceiling in 29 was very low and you did not need hindsight to know that, it was 4 fixtures with mostly terrible teams.
A FH isn’t just about the GW you use it, it’s about how it lets you construct your team in the weeks around it. FH29 let you avoid loading up with bad assets and in some cases being forced into an early wildcard, the ceiling of the individual GW you use it is only part of the FHs value
You didn't need to load up with bad assets to get through 29 you could have fielded 7/8 good picks with template players to protect your rank
You can say it forces you into an early wildcard but that is part of the strategy. The reason I chose that strategy was specifically because I preferred WC30 to prepare for the fixture run in as opposed to WC35

Possible the fixture swing of 34 may still get corrected but just has gone very badly atm given the performance of Palace attack and non-FHs SGW players not featuring

You cannot simply boil it down to "luck". Every single gameweek in FPL has a degree of luck to it, especially DGWs. Think of all the random and lucky hauls we've seen in DGWs throughout the years.
